The arrows are being discharged, the warriors are fighting, the limbs are being split and the war is continuing.256.

The warriors are getting excited, the heavenly damsels are roaming and the sparks of fire coming out of the colliding swords.257.

The limbs are being splitted, all are absorbed in the war, the horses are dancing and the warriors are thundering.258.

The blows are being endured with pleasure, the warriors are falling down while swinging and thundering.259.

Contacting the numberless spirits, the warriors are lamenting, they are getting unconscious and falling down, the ghosts are dancing.260.

The warriors are fighting catching hold of arrows, the beauty is resplendent on all the faces and the heavenly damsels are looking at the warriors.261.

ਕਿ ਸਿਝੇਤਿ ਸਾਥੀ ॥

The warriors are fighting with the elephants after killing the enemies, they are running away after being hit by the arrows.262.

ਕਿ ਖੁਲੇਤਿ ਕੇਸੰ ॥

The warriors are lying down unconscious and in their fury, their hair have been loosened and their attires have been damaged.263.

ਕਿ ਜੁਝੇਤਿ ਹਾਥੀ ॥

ਕਿ ਲੁਝੇਤਿ ਸਾਥੀ ॥

ki lujhet saathee |

ਕਿ ਛੁਟੇਤਿ ਤਾਜੀ ॥

ਕਿ ਗਜੇਤਿ ਗਾਜੀ ॥੨੬੪॥

ki gajet gaajee |264|

The worriers have been destroyed while fighting with the elephants, the horses are roaming openly and the worriers are thundering. 264.

ਕਿ ਘੁੰਮੀਤਿ ਹੂਰੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਭੁੰਮੀਤਿ ਪੂਰੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਜੁਝੇਤਿ ਵੀਰੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਲਗੇਤਿ ਤੀਰੰ ॥੨੬੫॥

ki laget teeran |265|

The heavenly damsels are roaming over the whole earth, on being hit by the arrows the warriors are embracing martyrdom.265.

ਕਿ ਰੁਕੀ ਦਿਸਾਣੰ ॥

ki rukee disaanan |

ਕਿ ਝਮਕੈਤਿ ਤੇਗੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਨਭਿ ਜਾਨ ਬੇਗੰ ॥੨੬੬॥

ki nabh jaan began |266|

With the discharge of the arrows the directions have been hidden from view and the swords are gleaming high up in the sky.266.

ਕਿ ਗਜੈਤਿ ਗਾਜੀ ॥

ki pelet taajee |267|

The ghosts, arising from the graves, are coming towards the battlefield, the warriors are thundering and the horses are running.267.

ਕਿ ਡਿਗੇਤਿ ਜੰਗੰ ॥

ki ddiget jangan |

ਕਿ ਮਤੇਤਿ ਮਾਣੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਲੁਝੇਤਿ ਜੁਆਣੰ ॥੨੬੮॥

ki lujhet juaanan |268|

The warriors whose limbs have been chopped, are falling in the war arena and the intoxicated warriors are being killed.268.

ਕਿ ਚਕੈਤਿ ਚਾਰੰ ॥

ki chakait chaaran |

ਕਿ ਢੁਕੈਤਿ ਢੀਠੰ ॥

ਨ ਦੇਵੇਤਿ ਪੀਠੰ ॥੨੬੯॥

n devet peetthan |269|

The cries of “kill, kill” are being heard in all the four directions, the warriors are closing in and are not backing out.269.

ਕਿ ਘਲੇਤਿ ਸਾਗੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਬੁਕੈਤਿ ਬਾਗੰ ॥

ki bukait baagan |

ਕਿ ਮੁਛੇਤਿ ਬੰਕੀ ॥

ਕਿ ਹਠੇਤਿ ਹੰਕੀ ॥੨੭੦॥

ki hatthet hankee |270|

They are striking blows with their lances, while shouting, the whiskers of those egoists are also charming.270.

ਕਿ ਬਜੈਤਿ ਢੋਲੰ ॥

ki bajait dtolan |

ਕਿ ਬਕੈਤਿ ਬੋਲੰ ॥

ki bakait bolan |

ਕਿ ਬਜੇ ਨਗਾਰੇ ॥

ki baje nagaare |

ਕਿ ਜੁਟੇ ਹਠਿਆਰੇ ॥੨੭੧॥

ki jutte hatthiaare |271|

The drums are being played and the warriors are shouting, the trumpets are sounding and the persistent warriors are fighting with one another.271.

ਹਮਕੈਤ ਗਾਜੀ ॥

ਛੁਟਕੈਤ ਤੀਰੰ ॥

The warriors are thundering, the horses are jumping, the arrows are being discharged and the fighters are going astray in the multitude.272.

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਲਧਾ ਜੀ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥

gur mil ladhaa jee raam piaaraa raam |

Meeting with the Guru, I have found my Beloved Lord God.

ਇਹੁ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਦਿਤੜਾ ਵਾਰੋ ਵਾਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥

eihu tan man ditarraa vaaro vaaraa raam |

I have made this body and mind a sacrifice, a sacrificial offering to my Lord.

ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਦਿਤਾ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਜਿਤਾ ਚੂਕੀ ਕਾਂਣਿ ਜਮਾਣੀ ॥

tan man ditaa bhavajal jitaa chookee kaan jamaanee |

Dedicating my body and mind, I have crossed over the terrifying world-ocean, and shaken off the fear of death.

ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਥੀਆ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਆ ਰਹਿਆ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੀ ॥

asathir theea amrit peea rahiaa aavan jaanee |

Drinking in the Ambrosial Nectar, I have become immortal; my comings and goings have ceased.

ਸੋ ਘਰੁ ਲਧਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਧਾ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥

so ghar ladhaa sehaj samadhaa har kaa naam adhaaraa |

I have found that home, of celestial Samaadhi; the Name of the Lord is my only Support.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਮਾਣੇ ਰਲੀਆਂ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੰਉ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾ ॥੧॥

kahu naanak sukh maane raleean gur poore knau namasakaaraa |1|

Says Nanak, I enjoy peace and pleasure; I bow in reverence to the Perfect Guru. ||1||

ਸੁਣਿ ਸਜਣ ਜੀ ਮੈਡੜੇ ਮੀਤਾ ਰਾਮ ॥

sun sajan jee maiddarre meetaa raam |

Listen, O my friend and companion

ਗੁਰਿ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਚੁ ਦੀਤਾ ਰਾਮ ॥

gur mantru sabad sach deetaa raam |

- the Guru has given the Mantra of the Shabad, the True Word of God.

ਸਚੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਆ ਚੂਕੇ ਮਨਹੁ ਅਦੇਸਾ ॥

sach sabad dhiaaeaa mangal gaaeaa chooke manahu adesaa |

Meditating on this True Shabad, I sing the songs of joy, and my mind is rid of anxiety.

ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਤਹਿ ਨ ਜਾਇਆ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਬੈਸਾ ॥

so prabh paaeaa kateh na jaaeaa sadaa sadaa sang baisaa |

I have found God, who never leaves; forever and ever, He sits with me.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਭਾਣਾ ਸਚਾ ਮਾਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਸਹਜੇ ਦੀਤਾ ॥

prabh jee bhaanaa sachaa maanaa prabh har dhan sahaje deetaa |

One who is pleasing to God receives true honor. The Lord God blesses him with wealth.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਨੁ ਸਭਨੀ ਹੈ ਲੀਤਾ ॥੨॥

kahu naanak tis jan balihaaree teraa daan sabhanee hai leetaa |2|

Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to such a humble being. O Lord, You bless all with Your bountiful blessings. ||2||

ਤਉ ਭਾਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥

tau bhaanaa taan tripat aghaae raam |

When it pleases You, then I am satisfied and satiated.

ਮਨੁ ਥੀਆ ਠੰਢਾ ਸਭ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥

man theea tthandtaa sabh trisan bujhaae raam |

My mind is soothed and calmed, and all my thirst is quenched.

ਮਨੁ ਥੀਆ ਠੰਢਾ ਚੂਕੀ ਡੰਝਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਖਜਾਨਾ ॥

man theea tthandtaa chookee ddanjhaa paaeaa bahut khajaanaa |

My mind is soothed and calmed, the burning has ceased, and I have found so many treasures.

ਸਿਖ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਭਿ ਭੁੰਚਣ ਲਗੇ ਹੰਉ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾ ॥

sikh sevak sabh bhunchan lage hnau satagur kai kurabaanaa |

All the Sikhs and servants partake of them; I am a sacrifice to my True Guru.

ਨਿਰਭਉ ਭਏ ਖਸਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥

nirbhau bhe khasam rang raate jam kee traas bujhaae |

I have become fearless, imbued with the Love of my Lord Master, and I have shaken off the fear of death.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੰਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ॥੩॥

naanak daas sadaa sang sevak teree bhagat karnau liv laae |3|

Slave Nanak, Your humble servant, lovingly embraces Your meditation; O Lord, be with me always. ||3||

ਪੂਰੀ ਆਸਾ ਜੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥

pooree aasaa jee manasaa mere raam |

My hopes and desires have been fulfilled, O my Lord.

ਮੋਹਿ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਜੀਉ ਸਭਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥

mohi niragun jeeo sabh gun tere raam |

I am worthless, without virtue; all virtues are Yours, O Lord.

ਸਭਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਿਤੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ॥

sabh gun tere tthaakur mere kit mukh tudh saalaahee |

All virtues are Yours, O my Lord and Master; with what mouth should I praise You?

ਗੁਣੁ ਅਵਗੁਣੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਨ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੀਆ ਖਿਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥

gun avagun meraa kichh na beechaariaa bakhas leea khin maahee |

You did not consider my merits and demerits; you forgave me in an instant.

ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ਵਜੀ ਵਾਧਾਈ ਵਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰੇ ॥

nau nidh paaee vajee vaadhaaee vaaje anahad toore |

I have obtained the nine treasures, congratulations are pouring in, and the unstruck melody resounds.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੈ ਵਰੁ ਘਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਾਥੇ ਜੀ ਸਗਲ ਵਿਸੂਰੇ ॥੪॥੧॥

kahu naanak mai var ghar paaeaa mere laathe jee sagal visoore |4|1|

Says Nanak, I have found my Husband Lord within my own home, and all my anxiety is forgotten. ||4||1||
