ਤਬ ਪਾਰਥ ਆਇ ਕੈ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਵਾਇ ਸੁ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਜੂ ਸਿਉ ਇਹ ਬੈਨ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
tab paarath aae kai sees nivaae su sayaam joo siau ih bain uchaare |
ਸੂਰਜ ਕੀ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਜਮਨਾ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਗ ਜਾਹਿਰ ਸਾਰੇ ॥
sooraj kee duhitaa jamanaa ih naam prabhoo jag jaahir saare |
Then Arjuna bowing down his head, requested Krishna, “O Lord! she is Yamuna, the daughter of Surya and the whole world knows her
ਭੇਸ ਤਪੋਧਨ ਕਾਹੇ ਕੀਯੋ ਇਨ ਅਉ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਕਾਜ ਬਿਸਾਰੇ ॥
bhes tapodhan kaahe keeyo in aau grih ke sabh kaaj bisaare |
ਅਰਜੁਨ ਉਤਰ ਐਸੇ ਦੀਯੋ ਘਨਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਸੁਨੋ ਬਰ ਹੇਤੁ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ॥੨੦੯੫॥
arajun utar aise deeyo ghan sayaam suno bar het tumaare |2095|
Then Krishna said, “Why has she assumed the garb of a female ascetic and relinquished her domestic duties?” Arjuna replied, “She has done this in order to realize you.”2095.
ਪਾਰਥ ਕੀ ਬਤੀਯਾ ਸੁਨਿ ਯੌ ਬਹੀਯਾ ਗਹਿ ਡਾਰਿ ਲਈ ਰਥ ਊਪਰ ॥
paarath kee bateeyaa sun yau baheeyaa geh ddaar lee rath aoopar |
Hearing the words of Arjuna, Krishna caught hold of the arm of Yamuna and caused her to mount the chariot
ਚੰਦ ਸੋ ਆਨਨ ਜਾਹਿ ਲਸੈ ਅਤਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਗੈ ਸੁ ਕਪੋਲਨ ਦੂ ਪਰ ॥
chand so aanan jaeh lasai at jot jagai su kapolan doo par |
Her face was like the moon and the brightness of her cheeks was resplendent
ਕੈ ਕੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਤਿਹ ਪੈ ਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਜੂ ਐਸੀ ਕਿਸੀ ਪਰ ॥
kai kai kripaa at hee tih pai na kripaa kar sayaam joo aisee kisee par |
ਆਪਨੇ ਧਾਮਿ ਲਿਆਵਤ ਭਯੋ ਸਭ ਐਸ ਕਥਾ ਇਹ ਮਾਲੁਮ ਭੂ ਪਰ ॥੨੦੯੬॥
aapane dhaam liaavat bhayo sabh ais kathaa ih maalum bhoo par |2096|
Krishna was so much graceful to her as he had not been to any other woman and the story of bringing her in his home is world-famous.2096.
ਡਾਰਿ ਤਬੈ ਰਥ ਪੈ ਜਮਨਾ ਕਹੁ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਡੇਰਨ ਆਯੋ ॥
ddaar tabai rath pai jamanaa kahu sree brij naaeik dderan aayo |
Getting Yamuna mounted on his chariot, Krishna brought her home
ਬ︀ਯਾਹ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਸਭਾ ਹੂ ਜੁਧਿਸਟਰ ਗਯੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਾਇਨ ਸੋ ਲਪਟਾਯੋ ॥
bayaah ke beech sabhaa hoo judhisattar gayo nrip paaein so lapattaayo |
After wedding her, he went to the court of Yudhishtar to meet him, the king Yudhishtar fell at his feet
ਦੁਆਰਕਾ ਜੈਸਿ ਰਚੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੂ ਤੁਮ ਮੋ ਪੁਰ ਤੈਸਿ ਰਚੋ ਸੁ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
duaarakaa jais rachee prabh joo tum mo pur tais racho su sunaayo |
Yudhistar said, “O Lord! how you created the Dwarka city? Kindly tell me about it
ਆਇਸ ਦੇਤ ਭਯੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੂ ਕਰਮਾਬਿਸ੍ਵ ਸੋ ਤਿਨ ਤੈਸੋ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥੨੦੯੭॥
aaeis det bhayo prabh joo karamaabisv so tin taiso banaayo |2097|
” Then Krishna order Vishwakarma, who created another equivalent city there.2097.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਸਿਕਾਰ ਖੇਲਬੋ ਜਮੁਨਾ ਕੋ ਬਿਵਾਹਤ ਭਏ ॥

ਪੰਡੁ ਕੇ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਨ ਤੇ ਅਰੁ ਕੁੰਤੀ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਿਦਾ ਘਨਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਸਿਧਾਯੋ ॥
pandd ke putran te ar kuntee te lai ke bidaa ghan sayaam sidhaayo |
After bidding farewell to Pandavas and Kunti, Krishna reached the city to Ujjain
ਭੂਪ ਉਜੈਨ ਪੁਰੀ ਕੋ ਜਹਾ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਤਿਹ ਪੈ ਚਲਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
bhoop ujain puree ko jahaa kab sayaam kahai tih pai chal aayo |
Duryodhana desired in his mind to wed the daughter of the king of Ujjain
ਤਾ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਹੂ ਕੋ ਬ︀ਯਾਹਨ ਕਾਜ ਦੁਰਜੋਧਨ ਹੂ ਕੋ ਭੀ ਚਿਤੁ ਲੁਭਾਯੋ ॥
taa duhitaa hoo ko bayaahan kaaj durajodhan hoo ko bhee chit lubhaayo |
ਸੈਨ ਬਨਾਇ ਭਲੀ ਅਪਨੀ ਤਿਹ ਬ︀ਯਾਹਨ ਕਉ ਇਤ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਧਾਯੋ ॥੨੦੯੮॥
sain banaae bhalee apanee tih bayaahan kau it te ih dhaayo |2098|
He also came to this side for this purpose bringing alongwith him his bedecked army.2098.
ਸਜਿ ਸੈਨ ਦੁਰਜੋਧਨ ਆਯੋ ਉਤੇ ਪੁਰ ਤਾਹੀ ਇਤੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਆਏ ॥
saj sain durajodhan aayo ute pur taahee itai brij naaeik aae |
From that side Duryodhana came alongwith his army and from this side Krishna reached there
ਭੂਪਤਿ ਅਉਰ ਬਡੇ ਬਲਵੰਡ ਸੁ ਵਾਹ ਬਿਯਾਹ ਕਉ ਦੇਖਨ ਧਾਏ ॥
bhoopat aaur badde balavandd su vaah biyaah kau dekhan dhaae |
Many other great kings came to see the wedding,
ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਤਿਹ ਕੀ ਭਗਨੀ ਤਿਹ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਬਜਾਏ ॥
sayaam bhanai tih kee bhaganee tih aanand dundabh kott bajaae |
And caused their drums to be beaten in felicitation of the marriage of king’s daughter
ਤਉ ਹੀ ਲਉ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਜੀ ਬ︀ਯਾਹ ਕੈ ਤਾਹ ਕੋ ਪਾਰਥ ਲੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਅਉਧਿ ਸਿਧਾਏ ॥੨੦੯੯॥
tau hee lau sayaam jee bayaah kai taah ko paarath lai sang aaudh sidhaae |2099|
Then Krishna after marrying the king’s daughter came back to Ayodhya alongwith Arjuna.2099.

raajan meh toon raajaa kaheeeh bhooman meh bhoomaa |
Among kings, You are called the King. Among land-lords, You are the Land-lord.
ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮਹਿ ਠਕੁਰਾਈ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੋਮਨ ਸਿਰਿ ਕੋਮਾ ॥੧॥
tthaakur meh tthakuraaee teree koman sir komaa |1|
Among masters, You are the Master. Among tribes, Yours is the Supreme Tribe. ||1||
ਪਿਤਾ ਮੇਰੋ ਬਡੋ ਧਨੀ ਅਗਮਾ ॥
pitaa mero baddo dhanee agamaa |
My Father is wealthy, deep and profound.
ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਵਨ ਕਰੀਜੈ ਕਰਤੇ ਪੇਖਿ ਰਹੇ ਬਿਸਮਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ausatat kavan kareejai karate pekh rahe bisamaa |1| rahaau |
What praises should I chant, O Creator Lord? Beholding You, I am wonder-struck. ||1||Pause||
ਸੁਖੀਅਨ ਮਹਿ ਸੁਖੀਆ ਤੂੰ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਦਾਤਨ ਸਿਰਿ ਦਾਤਾ ॥
sukheean meh sukheea toon kaheeeh daatan sir daataa |
Among the peaceful, You are called the Peaceful One. Among givers, You are the Greatest Giver.
ਤੇਜਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੇਜਵੰਸੀ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਰਸੀਅਨ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥੨॥
tejan meh tejavansee kaheeeh raseean meh raataa |2|
Among the glorious, You are said to be the Most Glorious. Among revellers, You are the Reveller. ||2||
ਸੂਰਨ ਮਹਿ ਸੂਰਾ ਤੂੰ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਭੋਗਨ ਮਹਿ ਭੋਗੀ ॥
sooran meh sooraa toon kaheeeh bhogan meh bhogee |
Among warriors, You are called the Warrior. Among indulgers, You are the Indulger.
ਗ੍ਰਸਤਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੂੰ ਬਡੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤੀ ਜੋਗਨ ਮਹਿ ਜੋਗੀ ॥੩॥
grasatan meh toon baddo grihasatee jogan meh jogee |3|
Among householders, You are the Great Householder. Among yogis, You are the Yogi. ||3||
ਕਰਤਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਆਚਾਰਨ ਮਹਿ ਆਚਾਰੀ ॥
karatan meh toon karataa kaheeeh aachaaran meh aachaaree |
Among creators, You are called the Creator. Among the cultured, You are the Cultured One.
ਸਾਹਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਾ ਵਾਪਾਰਨ ਮਹਿ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ ॥੪॥
saahan meh toon saachaa saahaa vaapaaran meh vaapaaree |4|
Among bankers, You are the True Banker. Among merchants, You are the Merchant. ||4||
ਦਰਬਾਰਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੇਰੋ ਦਰਬਾਰਾ ਸਰਨ ਪਾਲਨ ਟੀਕਾ ॥
darabaaran meh tero darabaaraa saran paalan tteekaa |
Among courts, Yours is the Court. Yours is the Most Sublime of Sanctuaries.
ਲਖਿਮੀ ਕੇਤਕ ਗਨੀ ਨ ਜਾਈਐ ਗਨਿ ਨ ਸਕਉ ਸੀਕਾ ॥੫॥
lakhimee ketak ganee na jaaeeai gan na skau seekaa |5|
The extent of Your wealth cannot be determined. Your Coins cannot be counted. ||5||
ਨਾਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੇਰੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮਾ ਗਿਆਨਨ ਮਹਿ ਗਿਆਨੀ ॥
naaman meh tero prabh naamaa giaanan meh giaanee |
Among names, Your Name, God, is the most respected. Among the wise, You are the Wisest.
ਜੁਗਤਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੁਗਤਾ ਇਸਨਾਨਨ ਮਹਿ ਇਸਨਾਨੀ ॥੬॥
jugatan meh teree prabh jugataa isanaanan meh isanaanee |6|
Among ways, Yours, God, is the Best Way. Among purifying baths, Yours is the Most Purifying. ||6||
ਸਿਧਨ ਮਹਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਧਾ ਕਰਮਨ ਸਿਰਿ ਕਰਮਾ ॥
sidhan meh teree prabh sidhaa karaman sir karamaa |
Among spiritual powers, Yours, O God, are the Spiritual Powers. Among actions, Yours are the Greatest Actions.
ਆਗਿਆ ਮਹਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਗਿਆ ਹੁਕਮਨ ਸਿਰਿ ਹੁਕਮਾ ॥੭॥
aagiaa meh teree prabh aagiaa hukaman sir hukamaa |7|
Among wills, Your Will, God, is the Supreme Will. Of commands, Yours is the Supreme Command. ||7||
ਜਿਉ ਬੋਲਾਵਹਿ ਤਿਉ ਬੋਲਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕਵਨ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥
jiau bolaaveh tiau bolah suaamee kudarat kavan hamaaree |
As You cause me to speak, so do I speak, O Lord Master. What other power do I have?
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਇਓ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਅਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥੮॥੧॥੮॥
saadhasang naanak jas gaaeo jo prabh kee at piaaree |8|1|8|
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, O Nanak, sing His Praises; they are so very dear to God. ||8||1||8||
