ਸੈਨ ਬਡੋ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਕੋ ਜੀਤਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਿਹ ਜੀਤਿ ॥
sain baddo sang satru ko jeet taeh tih jeet |
ਛਾਡਤ ਹੈ ਨਹਿ ਬਧਤ ਤਿਹ ਇਹੈ ਬਡਨ ਕੀ ਰੀਤਿ ॥੧੮੮੩॥
chhaaddat hai neh badhat tih ihai baddan kee reet |1883|
To conquer a very big army alongwith the enemy is considered a victory and this has been the practice of greatness that instead of killing the enemy, he is set free.1883.

SWAYYA
ਪਾਗ ਦਈ ਅਰੁ ਬਾਗੋ ਦਯੋ ਇਕ ਸ︀ਯੰਦਨ ਦੈ ਤਿਹ ਛਾਡ ਦਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
paag dee ar baago dayo ik sayandan dai tih chhaadd dayo hai |
Jarasandh was set free by giving him one turban, clothes and a chariot
ਭੂਪ ਚਿਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਕਰਿ ਲਜਤਵਾਨ ਭਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
bhoop chitai har ko chit mai at hee kar lajatavaan bhayo hai |
Considering the greatness of Krishna, the king was extremely ashamed
ਗ੍ਰੀਵ ਨਿਵਾਇ ਮਹਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇ ਘਨੋ ਪਛਤਾਇ ਕੈ ਧਾਮਿ ਗਯੋ ਹੈ ॥
greev nivaae mahaa dukh paae ghano pachhataae kai dhaam gayo hai |
He went back to his home, repenting in affliction
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਕਉ ਚਉਦਹ ਲੋਕਨ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਜਸੁ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੮੪॥
sree jadubeer kau chaudah lokan sayaam bhanai jas poor rahiyo hai |1884|
In this way, the praise of Krishna spread in all the fourteen world.1884.
ਤੇਈਸ ਛੋਹਨ ਤੇਈਸ ਬਾਰ ਅਯੋਧਨ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਐਸੇ ਹੀ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
teees chhohan teees baar ayodhan te prabh aise hee maare |
Krishna destroyed the twenty-three extremely large military units in this way for twenty-three times
ਬਾਜ ਘਨੇ ਗਜ ਪਤਿ ਹਨੇ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੇ ਬਿਪਤੇ ਕਰਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
baaj ghane gaj pat hane kab sayaam bhane bipate kar ddaare |
He killed many horses and elephants,
ਏਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਨ ਲਗੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਜਮ ਧਾਮਿ ਸੋਊ ਤਜਿ ਦੇਹ ਪਧਾਰੇ ॥
ek hee baan lage har ko jam dhaam soaoo taj deh padhaare |
And even with a single arrow, they abandoned there bodies and went to the abode of Yama
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਰਾਜ ਕੀ ਜੀਤ ਭਈ ਅਰਿ ਤੇਈਸ ਬਾਰਨ ਐਸੇ ਈ ਹਾਰੇ ॥੧੮੮੫॥
sree brijaraaj kee jeet bhee ar teees baaran aise ee haare |1885|
Krishna was victorious and in this way Jarasandh was defeated for twenty-three times.1885.

ਦੇਵਨ ਜੋ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਪਾਛੇ ਕਹੀ ਸੁਨਾਇ ॥

Whatever eulogy was sung by the gods, has been described
ਕਥਾ ਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਹੋਇ ਹੈ ਕਹਿ ਹੋਂ ਵਹੀ ਬਨਾਇ ॥੧੮੮੬॥
kathaa su aagai hoe hai keh hon vahee banaae |1886|
And the way in which this story advanced, now I relate that.1886.

SWAYYA
ਉਤ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਹਾਰਿ ਗਯੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੌ ਰਨ ਜੀਤਿ ਇਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਆਯੋ ॥
aut bhoopat haar gayo grih kau ran jeet itai har joo grih aayo |
ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋ ਜੁਹਾਰੁ ਕੀਯੋ ਪੁਨਿ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਤਨਾਯੋ ॥
maat pitaa ko juhaar keeyo pun bhoopat ke sir chhatr tanaayo |
On that side, the king on his defeat went back to his home and on this side, Krishna winning the war, came back to his home, he gave befitting respects to his parents and then caused the canopy to be swung over the head of Uggarsain
ਬਾਹਰਿ ਆਇ ਗੁਨੀਨ ਸੁ ਦਾਨ ਦੀਯੋ ਤਿਨ ਇਉ ਜਸੁ ਭਾਖਿ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
baahar aae guneen su daan deeyo tin iau jas bhaakh sunaayo |
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਮਹਾ ਰਨਧੀਰ ਬਡੋ ਅਰਿ ਜੀਤਿ ਭਲੋ ਜਸੁ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੧੮੮੭॥
sree jadubeer mahaa ranadheer baddo ar jeet bhalo jas paayo |1887|
He gave gifts in charity to the talented people, who appreciated him by saying that Krishna, the great hero of the battlefield, conquering a very great enemy has even adored approbation.1887.
ਅਉਰ ਜਿਤੀ ਪੁਰਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਹੁਤੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੈ ਸਭ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕੀ ਓਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਰੈ ॥
aaur jitee pur naar hutee mil kai sabh sayaam kee or nihaarai |
ਭੂਖਨ ਅਉਰ ਜਿਤੋ ਧਨੁ ਹੈ ਪਟ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਕੇ ਊਪਰ ਵਾਰੈ ॥
bhookhan aaur jito dhan hai patt sree jadubeer ke aoopar vaarai |
All the women of the city now saw Krishna in person and sacrificed their wealth and ornaments on him
ਬੀਰ ਬਡੋ ਅਰਿ ਜੀਤ ਲਯੋ ਰਨਿ ਯੌ ਹਸਿ ਕੈ ਸਬ ਬੈਨ ਉਚਾਰੈ ॥
beer baddo ar jeet layo ran yau has kai sab bain uchaarai |
All of them said smilingly, “He has conquered a very great hero in the war
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤੈਸੋ ਈ ਪਉਰਖ ਮੈ ਕਹਿ ਇਉ ਸਬ ਸੋਕ ਬਿਦਾ ਕਰ ਡਾਰੈ ॥੧੮੮੮॥
sundar taiso ee paurakh mai keh iau sab sok bidaa kar ddaarai |1888|
His bravery is as charming as he himself,” saying this all of them abandoned their sorrow.1888.
ਹਸਿ ਕੈ ਪੁਰਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਸੁ ਬਾਤ ਕਹੈ ਕਛੁ ਨੈਨ ਨਚੈ ਕੈ ॥
has kai pur naar muraar nihaar su baat kahai kachh nain nachai kai |
ਜੀਤਿ ਫਿਰੇ ਰਨ ਧਾਮਹਿ ਕੋ ਸੰਗਿ ਬੈਰਨ ਕੇ ਬਹੁ ਜੂਝ ਮਚੈ ਕੈ ॥
jeet fire ran dhaameh ko sang bairan ke bahu joojh machai kai |
Seeing Krishna all the women of the city dancing their eyes and smiling said, “Krishna has come back after winning a terrible war,”
ਏ ਈ ਸੁ ਬੈਨ ਕਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਸੋ ਤਬ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਕਛੁ ਸੰਕ ਨ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
e ee su bain kahai har so tab sayaam bhanai kachh sank na kai kai |
ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਸਾਥ ਹਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੈਸੇ ਸੁ ਤੈਸੇ ਹਸੈ ਹਮ ਓਰਿ ਚਿਤੈ ਕੈ ॥੧੮੮੯॥
raadhikaa saath haso prabh jaise su taise hasai ham or chitai kai |1889|
Saying this, they also said unhesitatingly, “O Lord! just as you smiled on seeing Radha, you may also smile looking towards us.”1889.
ਇਉ ਜਬ ਬੈਨ ਕਹੈ ਪੁਰ ਬਾਸਨਿ ਤਉ ਹਸਿ ਕੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ ॥
eiau jab bain kahai pur baasan tau has kai brijanaath nihaare |
When the citizens said this, then Krishna began to smile, looking towards all
ਚਾਰੁ ਚਿਤੌਨ ਕਉ ਹੇਰਿ ਤਿਨੋ ਮਨ ਕੇ ਸਬ ਸੋਕ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਬਿਡਾਰੇ ॥
chaar chitauan kau her tino man ke sab sok santaap biddaare |
Sensing their charming thoughts, their sorrows and sufferings ended
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਛਕੀ ਤ੍ਰੀਯ ਭੂਮਿ ਕੇ ਊਪਰ ਝੂਮਿ ਗਿਰੀ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
prem chhakee treey bhoom ke aoopar jhoom giree kab sayaam uchaare |
The women swinging with the sentiments of love, fell down the earth
ਭਉਹ ਕਮਾਨ ਸਮਾਨ ਮਨੋ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਸਾਇਕ ਯੌ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੧੮੯੦॥
bhauh kamaan samaan mano drig saaeik yau brij naaeik maare |1890|
The eyebrows of Krishna were like the bow and with the speech of the eyesight, he was alluring everyone.1890.
ਉਤ ਸੰਕਿਤ ਹੁਇ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਧਾਮਿ ਗਈ ਇਤ ਬੀਰ ਸਭਾ ਮਹਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਜੂ ਆਯੋ ॥
aut sankit hue treeyaa dhaam gee it beer sabhaa meh sayaam joo aayo |
On that side, the women entrapped in the illusive net of love, went to their homes
ਹੇਰਿ ਕੈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਹਿ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਦਉਰ ਕੈ ਪਾਇਨ ਸੀਸ ਲੁਡਾਯੋ ॥
her kai sree brijanaatheh bhoopat daur kai paaein sees luddaayo |
Krishna reached the gathering of warriors, seeing Krishna, the king fell at his feet,
ਆਦਰ ਸੋ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਲੈ ਸੁ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਨ ਤੀਰ ਬੈਠਾਯੋ ॥
aadar so kab sayaam bhanai nrip lai su singhaasan teer baitthaayo |
And got him seated on his throne respectfully
ਬਾਰਨੀ ਲੈ ਰਸੁ ਆਗੇ ਧਰਿਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਪੇਖਿ ਕੈ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਮਹਾ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੧੮੯੧॥
baaranee lai ras aage dhariyo tih pekh kai sayaam mahaa sukh paayo |1891|
The king presented the extract of Varuni to Krishna, seeing which he was extremely pleased.1891.
ਬਾਰੁਨੀ ਕੇ ਰਸ ਸੌ ਜਬ ਸੂਰ ਛਕੇ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਬਲਿਭਦ੍ਰ ਚਿਤਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
baarunee ke ras sau jab soor chhake sab hee balibhadr chitaariyo |
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਰਾਜ ਸਮਾਜ ਮੈ ਬਾਜ ਹਨੇ ਗਜ ਰਾਜ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
sree brijaraaj samaaj mai baaj hane gaj raaj na koaoo bichaariyo |
After drinking Varuni, Balram told everyone that Krishna had killed the elephants and horses
ਸੋ ਬਿਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਕੀਯੋ ਛਿਨ ਮੈ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਜਿਹ ਬਾਨ ਸੁ ਏਕ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
so bin praan keeyo chhin mai ris kai jih baan su ek prahaariyo |
He, who discharged one arrow on Krishna, he was made lifeless by him
ਬੀਰਨ ਬੀਚ ਸਰਾਹਤ ਭਯੋ ਸੁ ਹਲੀ ਯੁਧ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਇਤੋ ਰਨ ਪਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੮੯੨॥
beeran beech saraahat bhayo su halee yudh sayaam ito ran paariyo |1892|
In this way Balram eulogised the way of fighting of Krishna amongst the warriors.1892.

In the one and in the many, He is pervading and permeating; wherever I look, there He is.
ਮਾਇਆ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਮੋਹਿਤ ਬਿਰਲਾ ਬੂਝੈ ਕੋਈ ॥੧॥
maaeaa chitr bachitr bimohit biralaa boojhai koee |1|
The marvellous image of Maya is so fascinating; how few understand this. ||1||
ਸਭੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ਹੈ ਸਭੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ਹੈ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ॥
sabh gobind hai sabh gobind hai gobind bin nahee koee |
God is everything, God is everything. Without God, there is nothing at all.
ਸੂਤੁ ਏਕੁ ਮਣਿ ਸਤ ਸਹੰਸ ਜੈਸੇ ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
soot ek man sat sahans jaise ot pot prabh soee |1| rahaau |
As one thread holds hundreds and thousands of beads, He is woven into His creation. ||1||Pause||
ਜਲ ਤਰੰਗ ਅਰੁ ਫੇਨ ਬੁਦਬੁਦਾ ਜਲ ਤੇ ਭਿੰਨ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥
jal tarang ar fen budabudaa jal te bhin na hoee |
The waves of the water, the foam and bubbles, are not distinct from the water.
ਇਹੁ ਪਰਪੰਚੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੀ ਲੀਲਾ ਬਿਚਰਤ ਆਨ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥੨॥
eihu parapanch paarabraham kee leelaa bicharat aan na hoee |2|
This manifested world is the playful game of the Supreme Lord God; reflecting upon it, we find that it is not different from Him. ||2||
ਮਿਥਿਆ ਭਰਮੁ ਅਰੁ ਸੁਪਨ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਸਤਿ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥
mithiaa bharam ar supan manorath sat padaarath jaaniaa |
False doubts and dream objects - man believes them to be true.
ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਮਨਸਾ ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸੀ ਜਾਗਤ ਹੀ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥੩॥
sukrit manasaa gur upadesee jaagat hee man maaniaa |3|
The Guru has instructed me to try to do good deeds, and my awakened mind has accepted this. ||3||
ਕਹਤ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ॥
kehat naamadeo har kee rachanaa dekhahu ridai beechaaree |
Says Naam Dayv, see the Creation of the Lord, and reflect upon it in your heart.
ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਕੇਵਲ ਏਕ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥੪॥੧॥
ghatt ghatt antar sarab nirantar keval ek muraaree |4|1|
In each and every heart, and deep within the very nucleus of all, is the One Lord. ||4||1||

ਆਨੀਲੇ ਕੁੰਭ ਭਰਾਈਲੇ ਊਦਕ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਉ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ਕਰਉ ॥
aaneele kunbh bharaaeele aoodak tthaakur kau isanaan krau |
Bringing the pitcher, I fill it with water, to bathe the Lord.
ਬਇਆਲੀਸ ਲਖ ਜੀ ਜਲ ਮਹਿ ਹੋਤੇ ਬੀਠਲੁ ਭੈਲਾ ਕਾਇ ਕਰਉ ॥੧॥
beaalees lakh jee jal meh hote beetthal bhailaa kaae krau |1|
But 4.2 million species of beings are in the water - how can I use it for the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny? ||1||
ਜਤ੍ਰ ਜਾਉ ਤਤ ਬੀਠਲੁ ਭੈਲਾ ॥
jatr jaau tat beetthal bhailaa |
Wherever I go, the Lord is there.
ਮਹਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰੇ ਸਦ ਕੇਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
mahaa anand kare sad kelaa |1| rahaau |
He continually plays in supreme bliss. ||1||Pause||
ਆਨੀਲੇ ਫੂਲ ਪਰੋਈਲੇ ਮਾਲਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੀ ਹਉ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਉ ॥
aaneele fool paroeele maalaa tthaakur kee hau pooj krau |
I bring flowers to weave a garland, in worshipful adoration of the Lord.
ਪਹਿਲੇ ਬਾਸੁ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਭਵਰਹ ਬੀਠਲ ਭੈਲਾ ਕਾਇ ਕਰਉ ॥੨॥
pahile baas lee hai bhavarah beetthal bhailaa kaae krau |2|
But the bumble bee has already sucked out the fragrance - how can I use it for the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny? ||2||
ਆਨੀਲੇ ਦੂਧੁ ਰੀਧਾਈਲੇ ਖੀਰੰ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਉ ਨੈਵੇਦੁ ਕਰਉ ॥
aaneele doodh reedhaaeele kheeran tthaakur kau naived krau |
I carry milk and cook it to make pudding, with which to feed the Lord.
ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੂਧੁ ਬਿਟਾਰਿਓ ਬਛਰੈ ਬੀਠਲੁ ਭੈਲਾ ਕਾਇ ਕਰਉ ॥੩॥
pahile doodh bittaario bachharai beetthal bhailaa kaae krau |3|
But the calf has already tasted the milk - how can I use it for the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny? ||3||
ਈਭੈ ਬੀਠਲੁ ਊਭੈ ਬੀਠਲੁ ਬੀਠਲ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਨਹੀ ॥
eebhai beetthal aoobhai beetthal beetthal bin sansaar nahee |
The Lord is here, the Lord is there; without the Lord, there is no world at all.
ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਣਵੈ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਤੂੰ ਸਰਬ ਮਹੀ ॥੪॥੨॥
thaan thanantar naamaa pranavai poor rahio toon sarab mahee |4|2|
Prays Naam Dayv, O Lord, You are totally permeating and pervading all places and interspaces. ||4||2||

ਮਨੁ ਮੇਰੋ ਗਜੁ ਜਿਹਬਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਾਤੀ ॥
man mero gaj jihabaa meree kaatee |
My mind is the yardstick, and my tongue is the scissors.
ਮਪਿ ਮਪਿ ਕਾਟਉ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਫਾਸੀ ॥੧॥
map map kaattau jam kee faasee |1|
I measure it out and cut off the noose of death. ||1||
ਕਹਾ ਕਰਉ ਜਾਤੀ ਕਹ ਕਰਉ ਪਾਤੀ ॥
kahaa krau jaatee keh krau paatee |
What do I have to do with social status? What do I have to with ancestry?
ਰਾਮ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਉ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
raam ko naam jpau din raatee |1| rahaau |
I meditate on the Name of the Lord, day and night. ||1||Pause||
ਰਾਂਗਨਿ ਰਾਂਗਉ ਸੀਵਨਿ ਸੀਵਉ ॥
raangan raangau seevan seevau |
I dye myself in the color of the Lord, and sew what has to be sewn.
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਘਰੀਅ ਨ ਜੀਵਉ ॥੨॥
raam naam bin ghareea na jeevau |2|
Without the Lord's Name, I cannot live, even for a moment. ||2||
ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਉ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਉ ॥
bhagat krau har ke gun gaavau |
I perform devotional worship, and sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਅਪਨਾ ਖਸਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਉ ॥੩॥
aatth pehar apanaa khasam dhiaavau |3|
Twenty-four hours a day, I meditate on my Lord and Master. ||3||
ਸੁਇਨੇ ਕੀ ਸੂਈ ਰੁਪੇ ਕਾ ਧਾਗਾ ॥
sueine kee sooee rupe kaa dhaagaa |

ਸਾਪੁ ਕੁੰਚ ਛੋਡੈ ਬਿਖੁ ਨਹੀ ਛਾਡੈ ॥
saap kunch chhoddai bikh nahee chhaaddai |
The snake sheds its skin, but does not lose its venom.
ਉਦਕ ਮਾਹਿ ਜੈਸੇ ਬਗੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਮਾਡੈ ॥੧॥
audak maeh jaise bag dhiaan maaddai |1|
The heron appears to be meditating, but it is concentrating on the water. ||1||
ਕਾਹੇ ਕਉ ਕੀਜੈ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਜਪੰਨਾ ॥
kaahe kau keejai dhiaan japanaa |
Why do you practice meditation and chanting,
ਜਬ ਤੇ ਸੁਧੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਮਨੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jab te sudh naahee man apanaa |1| rahaau |
when your mind is not pure? ||1||Pause||
ਸਿੰਘਚ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਜੋ ਨਰੁ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
singhach bhojan jo nar jaanai |
That man who feeds like a lion,
ਐਸੇ ਹੀ ਠਗਦੇਉ ਬਖਾਨੈ ॥੨॥
aise hee tthagadeo bakhaanai |2|
is called the god of thieves. ||2||
ਨਾਮੇ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਲਾਹਿ ਲੇ ਝਗਰਾ ॥
naame ke suaamee laeh le jhagaraa |
Naam Dayv's Lord and Master has settled my inner conflicts.
