ਮਚਿਯੋ ਰਨ ਦਾਰੁਨ ਦਿਲਾਵਰ ਦਲੇਲ ਖਾ ਸਿਚਾਨਨ ਕੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਨ ਭੂਮਿ ਝਟਪਟੀ ਸੀ ॥
machiyo ran daarun dilaavar dalel khaa sichaanan kee bhaat ran bhoom jhattapattee see |
A dreadful war began and Dilawar Khan, Dalel Khan etc., joined speedily in the war like a falcon
ਹਟੀ ਨ ਨਿਪਟ ਖਟਪਟੀ ਸੁਭਟਨ ਹੂੰ ਕੀ ਆਨਨ ਕੀ ਆਭਾ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਲਾਗੈ ਨੈਕੁ ਲਟੀ ਸੀ ॥
hattee na nipatt khattapattee subhattan hoon kee aanan kee aabhaa taa kee laagai naik lattee see |
These fully persistent warriors are engaged in destruction and their glory seems charming to the eyes
ਭੂਪਤਿ ਸੰਭਾਰ ਕੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਪਾਨਿ ਤਾਨਿ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਘਾਰੀ ਸੈਨ ਬਚੀ ਫੂਟੀ ਫਟੀ ਸੀ ॥

The king also holding his sword
ਕਹੂੰ ਬਾਜ ਮਾਰੇ ਕਹੂੰ ਗਿਰੇ ਗਜ ਭਾਰੇ ਭਾਰੇ ਭੂਪ ਮਾਨੋ ਕਰੀ ਭਟ ਕਟੀ ਬਨ ਕਟੀ ਸੀ ॥੧੬੦੮॥
kahoon baaj maare kahoon gire gaj bhaare bhaare bhoop maano karee bhatt kattee ban kattee see |1608|
Proudly smashed and destroyed the elephants, the warriors were cut down by the king like the trees cut down and thrown in the forest.1608.

Then Kharag Singh holding his sword in ire, despatched the army of maleshhas to the abode of Yama.1609.

ਅਉਰ ਸੁਭਟ ਜੇ ਐਨਿ ਚਲੇ ਨਾਮ ਕਬਿ ਦੇਤ ਕਹਿ ॥੧੬੧੦॥

When the king destroyed two extremely large units of the army of malechhas, then the remaining warriors who marched forward for war, their named are like this,1610

ਭੀਮ ਗਦਾ ਕਰਿ ਭੀਮ ਲੀਏ ਇਖੁਧੀ ਕਟਿ ਸੋ ਕਸਿ ਪਾਰਥ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
bheem gadaa kar bheem lee ikhudhee katt so kas paarath dhaayo |
Bhima taking his mace and Arjuna tightening his waist with quiver marched forward
ਰਾਇ ਜੁਧਿਸਟਰ ਲੈ ਧਨੁ ਹਾਥਿ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥
raae judhisattar lai dhan haath chaliyo chit mai at krodh badtaayo |
Yudhishtar carried his bow and arrows in his hands
ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਬਲੀ ਦੋਊ ਸਾਥ ਲੀਏ ਦਲੁ ਜੇਤਕ ਸੰਗ ਹੁਤੋ ਸੁ ਬੁਲਾਯੋ ॥
bhraat balee doaoo saath lee dal jetak sang huto su bulaayo |
ਐਸੇ ਭਿਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਰਾਸੁਰ ਸਿਉ ਮਘਵਾ ਰਿਸਿ ਕੈ ਜਿਮ ਜੁਧੁ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥੧੬੧੧॥
aise bhire britaraasur siau maghavaa ris kai jim judh machaayo |1611|
He took with him both the brothers and the army and began the fighting like Indra with Vratasura.1611.

Getting infuriated in his mind, Kharag Singh went before Krishna and spoke with the hearing of all the warriors.1612.

ਪਸਚਿਮ ਸੂਰ ਚੜੈ ਕਬਹੂ ਅਰੁ ਗੰਗ ਬਹੀ ਉਲਟੀ ਜੀਅ ਆਵੈ ॥
pasachim soor charrai kabahoo ar gang bahee ulattee jeea aavai |
“Even if the sun rises from the west and the Ganges flows contrary to its course
ਜੇਠ ਕੇ ਮਾਸ ਤੁਖਾਰ ਪਰੇ ਬਨ ਅਉਰ ਬਸੰਤ ਸਮੀਰ ਜਰਾਵੈ ॥
jetth ke maas tukhaar pare ban aaur basant sameer jaraavai |
Even if it snows in the month of Jyeshth and the wind of spring gives scorching heat
ਲੋਕ ਹਲੈ ਧਰੂਅ ਕੋ ਜਲ ਕੋ ਥਲੁ ਹੁਇ ਥਲ ਕੋ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਜਲ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
lok halai dharooa ko jal ko thal hue thal ko kabahoon jal jaavai |
ਕੰਚਨ ਕੋ ਨਗੁ ਪੰਖਨ ਧਾਰਿ ਉਡੈ ਖੜਗੇਸ ਨ ਪੀਠ ਦਿਖਾਵੈ ॥੧੬੧੩॥
kanchan ko nag pankhan dhaar uddai kharrages na peetth dikhaavai |1613|
“Even if the stable pole star moves and if the waters turn into plain and plain into wates and if the Sumeru mountain flies with wings, Kharag Singh will never get back from the war-arena.1613.
ਯੌ ਕਹਿ ਕੈ ਧਨੁ ਕੋ ਗਹਿ ਕੈ ਲਹਿ ਕੈ ਚਹਿ ਕੈ ਬਹੁ ਬੀਰ ਕਟੇ ॥
yau keh kai dhan ko geh kai leh kai cheh kai bahu beer katte |
Saying this and getting hold of his bow, he, in a delightful mood, chopped many warriors
ਇਕ ਧਾਇ ਪਰੈ ਪੁਨਿ ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਇਕ ਭਾਜਿ ਗਏ ਇਕ ਸੂਰ ਲਟੇ ॥
eik dhaae parai pun saamuhi hvai ik bhaaj ge ik soor latte |
Some warriors came in front of him to fight and some ran away, some of the warriors fell down on the earth
ਬਲਬੰਡ ਘਨੇ ਛਿਤ ਪੈ ਪਟਕੇ ਭਟ ਐਸੀ ਦਸਾ ਬਹੁ ਹੇਰਿ ਹਟੇ ॥
balabandd ghane chhit pai pattake bhatt aisee dasaa bahu her hatte |
He knocked down many warriors on the ground and seeing such a spectacle of war, many warriors retraced their steps
ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਤਿਹ ਆਹਵ ਮੈ ਸੁ ਰਹੇ ਕੇਊ ਬੀਰ ਫਟੇ ਈ ਫਟੇ ॥੧੬੧੪॥
kab sayaam bhanai tih aahav mai su rahe keaoo beer fatte ee fatte |1614|
The poet says that the warriors who were there in the battlefield, they had received some injury at least.1614.
ਧਨੁ ਪਾਰਥ ਕੋ ਤਿਹ ਕਾਟਿ ਦਯੋ ਪੁਨਿ ਕਾਟਿ ਕੈ ਭੀਮ ਗਦਾ ਊ ਗਿਰਾਈ ॥
dhan paarath ko tih kaatt dayo pun kaatt kai bheem gadaa aoo giraaee |
He caused the bow of Arjuna to fall down and also the mace of Bhima
ਭੂਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਕਰਵਾਰ ਕਟੀ ਕਹੂੰ ਜਾਇ ਪਰੀ ਕਛੁ ਜਾਨਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
bhoopat kee karavaar kattee kahoon jaae paree kachh jaan na jaaee |
The sword of the king itself was cut and it could not be known where it fell
ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਦੋਊ ਅਰੁ ਸੈਨ ਘਨੀ ਅਤਿ ਰੋਸ ਭਰੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਊਪਰ ਧਾਈ ॥
bhraat doaoo ar sain ghanee at ros bharee nrip aoopar dhaaee |
ਭੂਪਤਿ ਬਾਨ ਹਨੈ ਤਿਹ ਕਉ ਤਨ ਫੋਰਿ ਦਈ ਉਹ ਓਰਿ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੧੬੧੫॥
bhoopat baan hanai tih kau tan for dee uh or dikhaaee |1615|
The innumerable of Arjuna and Bhima fell upon the king, who with his loud sounding discharge of arrows, pierced the bodies of all of them.1615.

ਸੈਨ ਅਛੂਹਨਿ ਤੁਰਤ ਹੀ ਦੀਨੀ ਤਿਨਹਿ ਸੰਘਾਰਿ ॥

ਪੁਨਿ ਰਿਸਿ ਸਿਉ ਧਾਵਤ ਭਯੋ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ॥੧੬੧੬॥
pun ris siau dhaavat bhayo apune sasatr sanbhaar |1616|
The king immediately killed one large division of military unit and then in his fury, holding his weapons, he fell upon the enemy.1616.

ਏਕ ਚਟਾਕ ਚਪੇਟ ਹਨੈ ਇਕ ਲੈ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਕਰਵਾਰ ਸੰਘਾਰੈ ॥
ek chattaak chapett hanai ik lai kar mai karavaar sanghaarai |
He killed some warriors with other weapons and some, taking his sword in his hand
ਏਕਨ ਕੇ ਉਰ ਫਾਰਿ ਕਟਾਰਨ ਕੇਸਨ ਤੇ ਗਹਿ ਏਕ ਪਛਾਰੈ ॥
ekan ke ur faar kattaaran kesan te geh ek pachhaarai |
He tore asunder the hearts of some with his sword and knocked down many catching them from their hair
ਏਕ ਚਲਾਇ ਦਏ ਦਸਹੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਏਕ ਡਰੇ ਮਰ ਗੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਮਾਰੈ ॥
ek chalaae de dasahoon dis ek ddare mar ge bin maarai |
He threw and scattered some in all the ten directions and some died merely with fear
ਪੈਦਲੁ ਕੋ ਦਲੁ ਮਾਰ ਦਯੋ ਦੁਹ ਹਾਥਨ ਹਾਥੀਨ ਦਾਤ ਉਖਾਰੈ ॥੧੬੧੭॥
paidal ko dal maar dayo duh haathan haatheen daat ukhaarai |1617|
He killed the gatherings of soldiers on feet and with both hands he uprooted the tusks of the elephants.1617.
ਪਾਰਥ ਆਨਿ ਕਮਾਨ ਗਹੀ ਤਿਹ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਇਕ ਬਾਨ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥
paarath aan kamaan gahee tih bhoopat ko ik baan lagaayo |
ਲਾਗਤ ਹੀ ਅਵਸਾਨ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਗਯੋ ਖੜਗੇਸ ਮਹਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
laagat hee avasaan gumaan gayo kharrages mahaa dukh paayo |
Holding his bow, Arjuna discharged one arrow to the king, whose blow destroyed the pride of the king and he suffered extreme anguish
ਪਉਰਖ ਪੇਖ ਕੈ ਜੀ ਹਰਿਖਿਓ ਬਲ ਟੇਰ ਨਰੇਸ ਸੁ ਐਸ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
paurakh pekh kai jee harikhio bal tter nares su ais sunaayo |
ਧੰਨ ਪਿਤਾ ਧੰਨ ਵੇ ਜਨਨੀ ਜੁ ਧਨੰਜੈ ਨਾਮ ਜਿਨੋ ਸੁਤ ਜਾਯੋ ॥੧੬੧੮॥
dhan pitaa dhan ve jananee ju dhananjai naam jino sut jaayo |1618|
Seeing the bravery of Arjuna, the heart of the king was pleased and he said within his hearing, ‘Bravo to the patents of Arjuna, who gave him birth.’1618.

aanan mai mas bheejat hai bar baarij se jug lochan tere |
“The hair grown on you upper lip seems saturated, because of your youth and your eyes are lotus
ਛੂਟਿ ਰਹੀ ਅਲਕੈ ਕਟਿ ਲਉ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਮਨੋ ਜੁਗ ਨਾਗ ਕਰੇਰੇ ॥
chhoott rahee alakai katt lau ih bhaat mano jug naag karere |
Your hair upto your waist are swinging like two snakes
ਆਨੰਦ ਕੰਦ ਕਿਧੋ ਮੁਖ ਚੰਦ ਕਟੇ ਦੁਖ ਫੰਧ ਚਕੋਰਨ ਕੇਰੇ ॥
aanand kand kidho mukh chand katte dukh fandh chakoran kere |
“Your face is like upon, seeing which, the anguish of the partridge is effaced
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੂਰਤਿ ਕੈਸੇ ਹਨੋ ਤੁਮ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਇਆ ਉਪਜੀ ਜੀਅ ਮੇਰੇ ॥੧੬੧੯॥
sundar soorat kaise hano tum dekh deaa upajee jeea mere |1619|
Seeing your elegant figure, I feel mercy arising in my mind, therefore how can I kill you?”1619.
ਪਾਰਥ ਹੇਰਿ ਹਸਿਓ ਸੁਨਿ ਬੈਨ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਮਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਕੋਪ ਭਰਿਯੋ ॥
paarath her hasio sun bain chaliyo man bheetar kop bhariyo |
ਧਨੁ ਬਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਰ ਕੈ ਪਾਨਿ ਲੀਯੋ ਲਲਕਾਰਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਨ ਰਤੀ ਕੁ ਡਰਿਯੋ ॥
dhan baan sanbhaar kai paan leeyo lalakaar pario na ratee ku ddariyo |
Seeing towards the king, Arjuna laughed and got enraged in his mind, he fearlessly took his bow and arrows in his hand and shouted
ਉਤ ਤੇ ਖੜਗੇਸ ਭਯੋ ਸਮੁਹੈ ਅਤਿ ਬਾਨਨ ਕੋ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਜੁਧ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
aut te kharrages bhayo samuhai at baanan ko duhoon judh kariyo |
From the other side, coming in front of him, began the war
ਤਬ ਪਾਰਥ ਸਿਉ ਲਰਬੋ ਤਜਿ ਕੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਭੀਮ ਕੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਧਾਇ ਪਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੬੨੦॥
tab paarath siau larabo taj kai nrip bheem ke aoopar dhaae pariyo |1620|
Leaving aside Arjuna, he fell upon Bhima.1620.
ਤਬ ਭੀਨ ਕੋ ਸ︀ਯੰਦਨ ਕਾਟਿ ਦਯੋ ਅਰੁ ਬੀਰ ਘਨੇ ਰਨ ਮਾਝ ਛਏ ਹੈ ॥
tab bheen ko sayandan kaatt dayo ar beer ghane ran maajh chhe hai |
Then he shattered the chariot of Bhima and knocked down many warriors in the field
ਘਾਇਲ ਏਕ ਪਰੈ ਛਿਤ ਪੈ ਇਕ ਘਾਇਲ ਘਾਇਲ ਆਇ ਖਏ ਹੈ ॥
ghaaeil ek parai chhit pai ik ghaaeil ghaaeil aae khe hai |
Many warriors were wounded and fell down on the ground and several wounded ones fought with the wounded ones
ਏਕ ਗਏ ਭਜਿ ਕੈ ਇਕ ਤੋ ਸਜਿ ਕੈ ਹਥਿਯਾਰਨ ਕੋਪ ਤਏ ਹੈ ॥
ek ge bhaj kai ik to saj kai hathiyaaran kop te hai |
Many have run away and some are getting infuriated, taking up their arms
ਏਕ ਫਿਰੈ ਭਟ ਕਾਪਤ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਤੇ ਛੁਟ ਕੈ ਕਰਵਾਰਿ ਗਏ ਹੈ ॥੧੬੨੧॥
ek firai bhatt kaapat hee kar te chhutt kai karavaar ge hai |1621|
The swords fell down from the hands of many warriors.1621.
ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:
ਪੁਰਖ ਪਤੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਗਹੀ ॥
purakh pate bhagavaan taa kee saran gahee |
The Primal Lord is the Lord God of all beings. I have taken to His Sanctuary.
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਭਏ ਪਰਾਨ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸਗਲ ਲਹੀ ॥
nirbhau bhe paraan chintaa sagal lahee |
My life has become fearless, and all my anxieties have been removed.
ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਮੀਤ ਸੁਰਿਜਨ ਇਸਟ ਬੰਧਪ ਜਾਣਿਆ ॥
maat pitaa sut meet surijan isatt bandhap jaaniaa |
I know the Lord as my mother, father, son, friend, well-wisher and close relative.
ਗਹਿ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਇਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਜਸੁ ਬਿਮਲ ਸੰਤ ਵਖਾਣਿਆ ॥
geh kantth laaeaa gur milaaeaa jas bimal sant vakhaaniaa |
The Guru has led me to embrace Him; the Saints chant His Pure Praises.
ਬੇਅੰਤ ਗੁਣ ਅਨੇਕ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਇ ਕਹੀ ॥
beant gun anek mahimaa keemat kachhoo na jaae kahee |
His Glorious Virtues are infinite, and His greatness is unlimited. His value cannot be described at all.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਏਕ ਅਨਿਕ ਅਲਖ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਓਟ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਗਹੀ ॥੧॥
prabh ek anik alakh tthaakur ott naanak tis gahee |1|
God is the One and only, the Unseen Lord and Master; O Nanak, I have grasped His protection. ||1||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਨੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਸਹਾਈ ਆਪਿ ਭਏ ॥
amrit ban sansaar sahaaee aap bhe |
The world is a pool of nectar, when the Lord becomes our helper.
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਰ ਹਾਰੁ ਬਿਖੁ ਕੇ ਦਿਵਸ ਗਏ ॥
raam naam ur haar bikh ke divas ge |
One who wears the necklace of the Lord's Name - his days of suffering are ended.
ਗਤੁ ਭਰਮ ਮੋਹ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਜੋਨਿ ਆਵਣ ਸਭ ਰਹੇ ॥
gat bharam moh bikaar binase jon aavan sabh rahe |
His state of doubt, attachment and sin is erased, and the cycle of reincarnation into the womb is totally ended.
ਅਗਨਿ ਸਾਗਰ ਭਏ ਸੀਤਲ ਸਾਧ ਅੰਚਲ ਗਹਿ ਰਹੇ ॥
agan saagar bhe seetal saadh anchal geh rahe |
The ocean of fire becomes cool, when one grasps the hem of the robe of the Holy Saint.
ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਗੁਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਿਥ ਬੋਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਜੈ ਜਏ ॥
govind gupaal deaal samrith bol saadhoo har jai je |
The Lord of the Universe, the Sustainer of the World, the merciful all-powerful Lord - the Holy Saints proclaim the victory of the Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਈ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੇ ॥੨॥
naanak naam dhiaae pooran saadhasang paaee param gate |2|
O Nanak, meditating on the Naam, in the perfect Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I have obtained the supreme status. ||2||
ਜਹ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਏਕੋ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ॥
jeh dekhau teh sang eko rav rahiaa |
Wherever I look, there I find the One Lord permeating and pervading all.
ਘਟ ਘਟ ਵਾਸੀ ਆਪਿ ਵਿਰਲੈ ਕਿਨੈ ਲਹਿਆ ॥
ghatt ghatt vaasee aap viralai kinai lahiaa |
In each and every heart, He Himself dwells, but how rare is that person who realizes this.
ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਕੀਟ ਹਸਤਿ ਸਮਾਨਿਆ ॥
jal thal maheeal poor pooran keett hasat samaaniaa |
The Lord is permeating and pervading the water, the land and the sky; He is contained in the ant and the elephant.
ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤੇ ਮਧਿ ਸੋਈ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦੀ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥
aad ante madh soee gur prasaadee jaaniaa |
In the beginning, in the middle and in the end, He exists. By Guru's Grace, He is known.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਸਰਿਆ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਲੀਲਾ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਜਨਿ ਕਹਿਆ ॥
braham pasariaa braham leelaa govind gun nidh jan kahiaa |
God created the expanse of the universe, God created the play of the world. His humble servants call Him the Lord of the Universe, the treasure of virtue.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ॥੩॥
simar suaamee antarajaamee har ek naanak rav rahiaa |3|
Meditate in remembrance on the Lord Master, the Searcher of hearts; O Nanak, He is the One, pervading and permeating all. ||3||
ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੜੀ ਆਈ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰੇ ॥

Day and night, become beauteous by remembering the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਲਮਲ ਪਾਪ ਟਰੇ ॥
charan kamal sang preet kalamal paap ttare |
In love with the Lord's Lotus Feet, corruption and sin depart.
ਦੂਖ ਭੂਖ ਦਾਰਿਦ੍ਰ ਨਾਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਮਗੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥
dookh bhookh daaridr naatthe pragatt mag dikhaaeaa |
Pain, hunger and poverty run away, and the path is clearly revealed.
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੇ ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗੇ ਮਨਿ ਲੋੜੀਦਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
mil saadhasange naam range man lorreedaa paaeaa |
Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, one is attuned to the Naam, and obtains the desires of the mind.
ਹਰਿ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਇਛ ਪੁੰਨੀ ਕੁਲ ਸੰਬੂਹਾ ਸਭਿ ਤਰੇ ॥
har dekh darasan ichh punee kul sanboohaa sabh tare |
Beholding the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, desires are fulfilled; all one's family and relatives are saved.
ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਿਮਰੰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ॥੪॥੬॥੯॥
dinas rain anand anadin simarant naanak har hare |4|6|9|
Day and night, he is in bliss, night and day, remembering the Lord in meditation, O Nanak. ||4||6||9||
