ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬੀਰ ਬਹੁ ਬੀਰ ਜੋਰਿ ॥
eih bhaat beer bahu beer jor |
ਮਤ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਰੋਰ ॥
mat des des raajaa karor |
In this way, Parasnath gathered together many brave fighters and kings of various countries far and near
ਦੇ ਹੀਰ ਚੀਰ ਬਹੁ ਦਿਰਬ ਸਾਜ ॥
de heer cheer bahu dirab saaj |
ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦਾਨ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਾਜ ॥੪੦॥
sanamaan daan bahu bhaat raaj |40|
And honoured all of them donating wealth and garments to them.40.
ਅਨਭੈ ਅਭੰਗ ਅਵਧੂਤ ਛਤ੍ਰ ॥
anabhai abhang avadhoot chhatr |
ਅਨਜੀਤ ਜੁਧ ਬੇਤਾ ਅਤਿ ਅਤ੍ਰ ॥
anajeet judh betaa at atr |
There many canopied and fearless Yogis there
ਅਨਗੰਜ ਸੂਰ ਅਬਿਚਲ ਜੁਝਾਰ ॥
anaganj soor abichal jujhaar |
ਰਣ ਰੰਗ ਅਭੰਗ ਜਿਤੇ ਹਜਾਰ ॥੪੧॥
ran rang abhang jite hajaar |41|
There were seated there unconquerable warriors, experts in arms and weapons, indestructible fighters, many mighty heroes, who had conquered thousand of wars.41.
ਸਬ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਕੇ ਜੀਤ ਰਾਵ ॥
sab des des ke jeet raav |
ਕਰ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਜੁਧ ਨਾਨਾ ਉਪਾਵ ॥
kar krudh judh naanaa upaav |
Parasnath had taken various kinds of measures, had conquered the kings of various countries in wars
ਕੈ ਸਾਮ ਦਾਮ ਅਰੁ ਦੰਡ ਭੇਦ ॥
kai saam daam ar dandd bhed |
ਅਵਨੀਪ ਸਰਬ ਜੋਰੇ ਅਛੇਦ ॥੪੨॥
avaneep sarab jore achhed |42|
On the strength of Saam Daam, Dand and Bhed, he brought all together and brought them his control.42.
ਜਬ ਸਰਬ ਭੂਪ ਜੋਰੇ ਮਹਾਨ ॥
jab sarab bhoop jore mahaan |
ਜੈ ਜੀਤ ਪਤ੍ਰ ਦਿਨੋ ਨਿਸਾਨ ॥
jai jeet patr dino nisaan |
When all the kings were brought together by the great Parasnath and al of them gave him the letter of victory,
ਦੈ ਹੀਰ ਚੀਰ ਅਨਭੰਗ ਦਿਰਬ ॥
dai heer cheer anabhang dirab |
ਮਹਿਪਾਲ ਮੋਹਿ ਡਾਰੇ ਸੁ ਸਰਬ ॥੪੩॥
mahipaal mohi ddaare su sarab |43|
Then Parasnath gave unlimited wealth and garments to them and allured them.43.
ਇਕ ਦਯੋਸ ਬੀਤ ਪਾਰਸ੍ਵ ਰਾਇ ॥
eik dayos beet paarasv raae |
ਉਤਿਸਟ ਦੇਵਿ ਪੂਜੰਤ ਜਾਇ ॥
autisatt dev poojant jaae |
One day, Parasnath went for the worship of the goddess
ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਿਨ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ॥
ausatat kin bahu bidh prakaar |
ਸੋ ਕਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਮੋਹਣਿ ਮਝਾਰ ॥੪੪॥
so kaho chhand mohan majhaar |44|
He adored her in various ways, whose description here I have composed in Mohani Stanza.44.

Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:
ਜਿਨਿ ਤੁਮ ਭੇਜੇ ਤਿਨਹਿ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਸੇਤੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਉ ॥
jin tum bheje tineh bulaae sukh sehaj setee ghar aau |
The One who sent you, has now recalled you; return to your home now in peace and pleasure.
ਅਨਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਰਾਜੁ ਕਮਾਉ ॥੧॥
anad mangal gun gaau sehaj dhun nihachal raaj kamaau |1|
In bliss and ecstasy, sing His Glorious Praises; by this celestial tune, you shall acquire your everlasting kingdom. ||1||
ਤੁਮ ਘਰਿ ਆਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੀਤ ॥
tum ghar aavahu mere meet |
Come back to your home, O my friend.
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਦੋਖੀ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ਅਪਦਾ ਭਈ ਬਿਤੀਤ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tumare dokhee har aap nivaare apadaa bhee biteet | rahaau |
The Lord Himself has eliminated your enemies, and your misfortunes are past. ||Pause||
ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਨੇਹਾਰੇ ਨਾਸਨ ਭਾਜਨ ਥਾਕੇ ॥
pragatt keene prabh karanehaare naasan bhaajan thaake |
God, the Creator Lord, has glorified you, and your running and rushing around has ended.
ਘਰਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਵਾਜਹਿ ਨਿਤ ਵਾਜੇ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਖਸਮਿ ਨਿਵਾਜੇ ॥੨॥
ghar mangal vaajeh nit vaaje apunai khasam nivaaje |2|
In your home, there is rejoicing; the musical instruments continually play, and your Husband Lord has exalted you. ||2||
ਅਸਥਿਰ ਰਹਹੁ ਡੋਲਹੁ ਮਤ ਕਬਹੂ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਬਚਨਿ ਅਧਾਰਿ ॥
asathir rahahu ddolahu mat kabahoo gur kai bachan adhaar |
Remain firm and steady, and do not ever waver; take the Guru's Word as your Support.
ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਸਗਲ ਭੂ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲ ਦਰਬਾਰ ॥੩॥
jai jai kaar sagal bhoo manddal mukh aoojal darabaar |3|
You shall be applauded and congratulated all over the world, and your face shall be radiant in the Court of the Lord. ||3||
ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਜੀਅ ਤਿਨੈ ਹੀ ਫੇਰੇ ਆਪੇ ਭਇਆ ਸਹਾਈ ॥
jin ke jeea tinai hee fere aape bheaa sahaaee |
All beings belong to Him; He Himself transforms them, and He Himself becomes their help and support.
ਅਚਰਜੁ ਕੀਆ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚੁ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੪॥੪॥੨੮॥
acharaj keea karanaihaarai naanak sach vaddiaaee |4|4|28|
The Creator Lord has worked a wondrous miracle; O Nanak, His glorious greatness is true. ||4||4||28||

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਬਿਨਉ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
sunahu sant piaare binau hamaare jeeo |
Listen, O Dear Beloved Saints, to my prayer.
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਜੀਉ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har bin mukat na kaahoo jeeo | rahaau |
Without the Lord, no one is liberated. ||Pause||
ਮਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਿ ਤਾਰਨ ਤਰਨ ਹਰਿ ਅਵਰਿ ਜੰਜਾਲ ਤੇਰੈ ਕਾਹੂ ਨ ਕਾਮ ਜੀਉ ॥
man niramal karam kar taaran taran har avar janjaal terai kaahoo na kaam jeeo |
O mind, do only deeds of purity; the Lord is the only boat to carry you across. Other entanglements shall be of no use to you.
ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਵਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸੇਵਾ ਇਹੁ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
jeevan devaa paarabraham sevaa ihu upades mo kau gur deenaa jeeo |1|
True living is serving the Divine, Supreme Lord God; the Guru has imparted this teaching to me. ||1||
ਤਿਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਨ ਲਾਈਐ ਹੀਤੁ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਬੀਤੁ ਅੰਤ ਕੀ ਬਾਰ ਓਹੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਚਾਲੈ ॥
tis siau na laaeeai heet jaa ko kichh naahee beet ant kee baar ohu sang na chaalai |
Do not fall in love with trivial things; in the end, they shall not go along with you.
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਤੂ ਆਰਾਧ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਾਧ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਛੂਟੈ ॥੨॥
man tan too aaraadh har ke preetam saadh jaa kai sang tere bandhan chhoottai |2|
Worship and adore the Lord with your mind and body, O Beloved Saint of the Lord; in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, you shall be released from bondage. ||2||
ਗਹੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਰਨ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਕਮਲ ਚਰਨ ਅਵਰ ਆਸ ਕਛੁ ਪਟਲੁ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
gahu paarabraham saran hiradai kamal charan avar aas kachh pattal na keejai |
In your heart, hold fast to the Sanctuary of the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord God; do not place your hopes in any other support.
ਸੋਈ ਭਗਤੁ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਧਿਆਨੀ ਤਪਾ ਸੋਈ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਜੈ ॥੩॥੧॥੨੯॥
soee bhagat giaanee dhiaanee tapaa soee naanak jaa kau kirapaa keejai |3|1|29|
He alone is a devotee, spiritually wise, a meditator, and a penitent, O Nanak, who is blessed by the Lord's Mercy. ||3||1||29||

ਮੇਰੇ ਲਾਲ ਭਲੋ ਰੇ ਭਲੋ ਰੇ ਭਲੋ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਗਨਾ ॥
mere laal bhalo re bhalo re bhalo har manganaa |
O my dear beloved, it is good, it is better, it is best, to ask for the Lord's Name.
ਦੇਖਹੁ ਪਸਾਰਿ ਨੈਨ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੇ ਬੈਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤਿ ਚਿਤਿ ਰਾਖੁ ਸਗਲ ਹੈ ਮਰਨਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
dekhahu pasaar nain sunahu saadhoo ke bain praanapat chit raakh sagal hai maranaa | rahaau |
Behold, with your eyes wide-open, and listen to the Words of the Holy Saints; enshrine in your consciousness the Lord of Life - remember that all must die. ||Pause||
ਚੰਦਨ ਚੋਆ ਰਸ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਤ ਅਨੇਕੈ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਦੇਖੁ ਸਗਲ ਹੈ ਫੀਕੇ ਏਕੈ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਨੀਕੋ ਕਹਤ ਹੈ ਸਾਧ ਜਨ ॥
chandan choaa ras bhog karat anekai bikhiaa bikaar dekh sagal hai feeke ekai gobid ko naam neeko kehat hai saadh jan |
The application of sandalwood oil, the enjoyment of pleasures and the practice of many corrupt sins - look upon all of these as insipid and worthless. The Name of the Lord of the Universe alone is sublime; so say the Holy Saints.
ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਆਪਨ ਥਾਪਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਨ ਨਿਮਖ ਜਾਪਿਓ ਅਰਥੁ ਦ੍ਰਬੁ ਦੇਖੁ ਕਛੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਚਲਨਾ ॥੧॥
tan dhan aapan thaapio har jap na nimakh jaapio arath drab dekh kachh sang naahee chalanaa |1|
You claim that your body and wealth are your own; you do not chant the Lord's Name even for an instant. Look and see, that none of your possessions or riches shall go along with you. ||1||
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਰੇ ਕਰਮੁ ਭਲਾ ਤਿਨਿ ਓਟ ਗਹੀ ਸੰਤ ਪਲਾ ਤਿਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਰੇ ਜਮੁ ਸੰਤਾਵੈ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਨਾ ॥
jaa ko re karam bhalaa tin ott gahee sant palaa tin naahee re jam santaavai saadhoo kee sanganaa |
One who has good karma, grasps the Protection of the hem of the Saint's robe; in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the Messenger of Death cannot threaten him.
ਪਾਇਓ ਰੇ ਪਰਮ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਮਿਟਿਓ ਹੈ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਏਕੈ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨੁ ਲਗਨਾ ॥੨॥੨॥੩੦॥
paaeo re param nidhaan mittio hai abhimaan ekai nirankaar naanak man laganaa |2|2|30|
I have obtained the supreme treasure, and my egotism has been eradicated; Nanak's mind is attached to the One Formless Lord. ||2||2||30||
