There was radiant glory on the face of that youthful woman
ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਨੈਣੀ ਬੈਣੀ ਕੋਕਿਲਾ ॥
mrig nainee bainee kokilaa |
ਸਸਿ ਆਭਾ ਸੋਭਾ ਚੰਚਲਾ ॥੩੨੫॥
sas aabhaa sobhaa chanchalaa |325|
Her eyes were like a doe and the speech like a nightingale she was mercurial, youth and moon-faced.325.
ਘਣਿ ਮੰਝੈ ਜੈ ਹੈ ਚੰਚਾਲੀ ॥
ghan manjhai jai hai chanchaalee |
ਮ੍ਰਿਦੁਹਾਸਾ ਨਾਸਾ ਖੰਕਾਲੀ ॥
mriduhaasaa naasaa khankaalee |
Her laughter was like lightning amongst the clouds and her nostril was extremely glorious
ਚਖੁ ਚਾਰੰ ਹਾਰੰ ਕੰਠਾਯੰ ॥

ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਨੈਣੀ ਬੇਣੀ ਮੰਡਾਯੰ ॥੩੨੬॥

She was wearing. Pretty necklaces and doe-eyed one had embellished her wrist nicely.326.
ਗਜ ਗਾਮੰ ਬਾਮੰ ਸੁ ਗੈਣੀ ॥

ਮ੍ਰਿਦਹਾਸੰ ਬਾਸੰ ਬਿਧ ਬੈਣੀ ॥
mridahaasan baasan bidh bainee |
That woman of elephant-gait was like a fascinating heavenly damsel and that sweetly smiling lady uttered very sweet words
ਚਖੁ ਚਾਰੰ ਹਾਰੰ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ॥

ਲਖਿ ਆਭਾ ਲਜੀ ਚੰਚਲਾ ॥੩੨੭॥

Seeing her pure diamond necklaces, the lightning was feeling shy.327.
ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਧਰਮਾ ਕਰਮਾ ਸੁਕਰਮੰ ॥

ਦੁਖ ਹਰਤਾ ਸਰਤਾ ਜਾਣੁ ਧਰਮੰ ॥
dukh harataa sarataa jaan dharaman |
She was firm in her religion and performed good actions
ਮੁਖ ਨੂਰੰ ਭੂਰੰ ਸੁ ਬਾਸਾ ॥

ਚਖੁ ਚਾਰੀ ਬਾਰੀ ਅੰਨਾਸਾ ॥੩੨੮॥

She appeared as the remover of suffering in the way as if she was a stream of piety there was brilliance on her face and her body was completely healthy.328.

ਸਤ ਧਰਮਾ ਕਰਮਾ ਸੰਚਾਲੀ ॥

Dutt saw that beautiful and mercurial woman, who according to her actions was observing Sati Dharma (the conduct of truth)
ਦੁਖ ਹਰਣੀ ਦਰਣੀ ਦੁਖ ਦ੍ਵੰਦੰ ॥
dukh haranee daranee dukh dvandan |
ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਭਕਤਾ ਬਕਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਛੰਦੰ ॥੩੨੯॥
priyaa bhakataa bakataa har chhandan |329|
She was the remover of suffering and was loved by his beloved she composed and uttered the poetic stanxas.329.
ਰੰਭਾ ਉਰਬਸੀਆ ਘ੍ਰਿਤਾਚੀ ॥

ਅਛੈ ਮੋਹਣੀ ਆਜੇ ਰਾਚੀ ॥
achhai mohanee aaje raachee |
ਲਖਿ ਸਰਬੰ ਗਰਬੰ ਪਰਹਾਰੀ ॥
lakh saraban garaban parahaaree |
ਮੁਖਿ ਨੀਚੇ ਧਾਮੰ ਸਿਧਾਰੀ ॥੩੩੦॥
mukh neeche dhaaman sidhaaree |330|
She was fascinating like the heavenly damsels like Rambha, Urvashi, Mohinin etc. and these heavely damsels, seeing her, bowed their faces and feeling shy, they went back to their homes.330.
ਗੰਧਰਬੰ ਸਰਬੰ ਦੇਵਾਣੀ ॥

The beautiful ladies like Ganddharva women, goddesses, Girja, Gayatri, Mandoddari, Savitri, Shachi etc. seeing her glory felt shy.331.
ਨਾਗਣੀਆ ਨ੍ਰਿਤਿਆ ਜਛਾਣੀ ॥

ਪਾਪਾ ਪਾਵਿਤ੍ਰੀ ਪਬਾਣੀ ॥

ਪਈਸਾਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਤੀ ਭੂਤੇਸੀ ॥

ਭਿੰਭਰੀਆ ਭਾਮਾ ਭੂਪੇਸੀ ॥੩੩੨॥

The Naga-girls,, the Yaksha women, the ghost, fiends, and Gana Women all were devoid of radiance before her.332.
ਬਰ ਬਰਣੀ ਹਰਣੀ ਸਬ ਦੁਖੰ ॥
bar baranee haranee sab dukhan |
ਸੁਖ ਕਰਨੀ ਤਰੁਣੀ ਸਸਿ ਮੁਖੰ ॥
sukh karanee tarunee sas mukhan |
That comely lady was the remover of all sufferings, giver of happiness and moon-faced
ਉਰਗੀ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬੀ ਜਛਾਨੀ ॥
auragee gandhrabee jachhaanee |
ਲੰਕੇਸੀ ਭੇਸੀ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਾਣੀ ॥੩੩੩॥
lankesee bhesee indraanee |333|
Even in the garb of Naga-girls, Gandharva-women, Yaksha-women and Indrani, she looked an extremely charming woman.333.
ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਬਾਨੰ ਤਾਨੰ ਮਦਮਤੀ ॥
drig baanan taanan madamatee |
ਜੁਬਨ ਜਗਮਗਣੀ ਸੁਭਵੰਤੀ ॥
juban jagamaganee subhavantee |
The eyes of that intoxicated youthful woman were tightened like the arrows and she was glistening with the radiance of youth
ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੰ ਹਾਰੰ ਬਨਿ ਮਾਲੰ ॥
aur dhaaran haaran ban maalan |
ਮੁਖਿ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਿਖਿਰੰ ਜਨ ਜ੍ਵਾਲੰ ॥੩੩੪॥

She had worn a rosary around her neck and the glory of her face seemed like the gleaming fire.334.
ਛਤਪਤ੍ਰੀ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਛਤ੍ਰਾਲੀ ॥

ਬਿਧੁ ਬੈਣੀ ਨੈਣੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਮਾਲੀ ॥

That queen of the earth was a canopied goddess and her eyes and words were pure
ਅਸਿ ਉਪਾਸੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਨਿਰਲੇਪੰ ॥
as upaasee daasee niralepan |
ਬੁਧਿ ਖਾਨੰ ਮਾਨੰ ਸੰਛੇਪੰ ॥੩੩੫॥

She was capable of alluring the demons, but she was the mine of learning and honour and lived unattached.335.
ਸੁਭ ਸੀਲੰ ਡੀਲੰ ਸੁਖ ਥਾਨੰ ॥
subh seelan ddeelan sukh thaanan |
ਮੁਖ ਹਾਸੰ ਰਾਸੰ ਨਿਰਬਾਨੰ ॥
mukh haasan raasan nirabaanan |
She was good, gentle and a lady of fine features she was giver of comfort she smiled mildly
ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਭਕਤਾ ਬਕਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੰ ॥
priyaa bhakataa bakataa har naaman |
ਚਿਤ ਲੈਣੀ ਦੈਣੀ ਆਰਾਮੰ ॥੩੩੬॥

She was the devotee of her beloved she remembered the Name of the Lord she was alluring and pleasing.336.
ਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਭਕਤਾ ਠਾਢੀ ਏਕੰਗੀ ॥
priy bhakataa tthaadtee ekangee |
ਰੰਗ ਏਕੈ ਰੰਗੈ ਸੋ ਰੰਗੀ ॥
rang ekai rangai so rangee |
She was the devotee of her beloved and standing alone she was dyed in only one dye
ਨਿਰ ਬਾਸਾ ਆਸਾ ਏਕਾਤੰ ॥
nir baasaa aasaa ekaatan |
ਪਤਿ ਦਾਸੀ ਭਾਸੀ ਪਰਭਾਤੰ ॥੩੩੭॥
pat daasee bhaasee parabhaatan |337|
She had no desire whatsoever and she was absorbed in the memory of her husband.337.
ਅਨਿ ਨਿੰਦ੍ਰ ਅਨਿੰਦਾ ਨਿਰਹਾਰੀ ॥

ਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਭਕਤਾ ਬਕਤਾ ਬ੍ਰਤਚਾਰੀ ॥

She neither slept nor ate food she was devotee of her beloved and a vow-observing lady
ਬਾਸੰਤੀ ਟੋਡੀ ਗਉਡੀ ਹੈ ॥
baasantee ttoddee gauddee hai |
ਭੁਪਾਲੀ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਗਉਰੀ ਛੈ ॥੩੩੮॥

She was beautiful like Vasanti, Todi, Gauri, Bhupali, Sarang etc.338.
ਹਿੰਡੋਲੀ ਮੇਘ ਮਲਾਰੀ ਹੈ ॥
hinddolee megh malaaree hai |
ਜੈਜਾਵੰਤੀ ਗੌਡ ਮਲਾਰੀ ਛੈ ॥
jaijaavantee gauadd malaaree chhai |
ਬੰਗਲੀਆ ਰਾਗੁ ਬਸੰਤੀ ਛੈ ॥
bangaleea raag basantee chhai |
ਬੈਰਾਰੀ ਸੋਭਾਵੰਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੩੩੯॥
bairaaree sobhaavantee hai |339|
She was glorious like Hindol, Megh, Malhar, Jaijavanti, Gaur, Basant, Bairagi etc.339.
ਸੋਰਠਿ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਬੈਰਾਰੀ ਛੈ ॥

ਪਰਜ ਕਿ ਸੁਧ ਮਲਾਰੀ ਛੈ ॥
paraj ki sudh malaaree chhai |
ਹਿੰਡੋਲੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਤੈਲੰਗੀ ॥
hinddolee kaafee tailangee |
ਭੈਰਵੀ ਦੀਪਕੀ ਸੁਭੰਗੀ ॥੩੪੦॥
bhairavee deepakee subhangee |340|
She was emotional like Sorath, Sarang, Bairai, Malhar, Hindol, Tailangi, Bhairavi and Deepak.340.
ਸਰਬੇਵੰ ਰਾਗੰ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੀ ॥
sarabevan raagan nirabaanee |
ਲਖਿ ਲੋਭੀ ਆਭਾ ਗਰਬਾਣੀ ॥
lakh lobhee aabhaa garabaanee |
She was expert in all musical modes and the beauty itself was getting allured on seeing her
ਜਉ ਕਥਉ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਰਬਾਣੰ ॥
jau kthau sobhaa sarabaanan |
ਤਉ ਬਾਢੇ ਏਕੰ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਣੰ ॥੩੪੧॥
tau baadte ekan granthaanan |341|
If I describe her glory of all types, then there will be an extension of another volume.341.
ਲਖਿ ਤਾਮ ਦਤੰ ਬ੍ਰਤਚਾਰੀ ॥
lakh taam datan bratachaaree |
ਸਬ ਲਗੇ ਪਾਨੰ ਜਟਧਾਰੀ ॥
sab lage paanan jattadhaaree |
That great vow-observing Dutt saw vow-observing lady and touched her feet alongwith other hermits with matted locks
ਤਨ ਮਨ ਭਰਤਾ ਕਰ ਰਸ ਭੀਨਾ ॥
tan man bharataa kar ras bheenaa |
ਚਵ ਦਸਵੋ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਗੁਰੁ ਕੀਨਾ ॥੩੪੨॥
chav dasavo taa kau gur keenaa |342|
He accepted that lady, being absorbed in the love of her husband with her body and mind, as his fourteenth Guru.342.

How can I remember the Lord in meditation? I cannot meditate on Him in remembrance.
ਤਪੈ ਹਿਆਉ ਜੀਅੜਾ ਬਿਲਲਾਇ ॥
tapai hiaau jeearraa bilalaae |
My heart is burning, and my soul is crying out in pain.
ਸਿਰਜਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
siraj savaare saachaa soe |
The True Lord creates and adorns.
ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਸਰਿਐ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਿਉ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥
tis visariai changaa kiau hoe |1|
Forgetting Him, how can one be good? ||1||
ਹਿਕਮਤਿ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਇ ॥
hikamat hukam na paaeaa jaae |
By clever tricks and commands, He cannot be found.
ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਚਿ ਮਿਲਉ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kiau kar saach milau meree maae |1| rahaau |
How am I to meet my True Lord, O my mother? ||1||Pause||
ਵਖਰੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਖਣ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਇ ॥
vakhar naam dekhan koee jaae |
How rare is the one who goes out, and searches for the merchandise of the Naam.
ਨਾ ਕੋ ਚਾਖੈ ਨਾ ਕੋ ਖਾਇ ॥
naa ko chaakhai naa ko khaae |
No one tastes it, and no one eats it.
ਲੋਕਿ ਪਤੀਣੈ ਨਾ ਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥
lok pateenai naa pat hoe |
Honor is not obtained by trying to please other people.
ਤਾ ਪਤਿ ਰਹੈ ਰਾਖੈ ਜਾ ਸੋਇ ॥੨॥
taa pat rahai raakhai jaa soe |2|
One's honor is preserved, only if the Lord preserves it. ||2||
ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
jeh dekhaa teh rahiaa samaae |
Wherever I look, there I see Him, pervading and permeating.
ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
tudh bin doojee naahee jaae |
Without You, I have no other place of rest.
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਕਰੇ ਕੀਤੈ ਕਿਆ ਹੋਇ ॥
je ko kare keetai kiaa hoe |
He may try, but what can anyone do by his own doing?
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਬਖਸੇ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥੩॥
jis no bakhase saachaa soe |3|
He alone is blessed, whom the True Lord forgives. ||3||
ਹੁਣਿ ਉਠਿ ਚਲਣਾ ਮੁਹਤਿ ਕਿ ਤਾਲਿ ॥
hun utth chalanaa muhat ki taal |
Now, I shall have to get up and depart, in an instant, in the clapping of hands.
ਕਿਆ ਮੁਹੁ ਦੇਸਾ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀ ਨਾਲਿ ॥
kiaa muhu desaa gun nahee naal |
What face will I show the Lord? I have no virtue at all.
ਜੈਸੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਤੈਸਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
jaisee nadar kare taisaa hoe |
As is the Lord's Glance of Grace, so it is.
ਵਿਣੁ ਨਦਰੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥
vin nadaree naanak nahee koe |4|1|3|
Without His Glance of Grace, O Nanak, no one is blessed. ||4||1||3||

ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਤਾ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਜਾਇ ॥
nadar kare taa simariaa jaae |
If the Lord bestows His Glance of Grace, then one remembers Him in meditation.
ਆਤਮਾ ਦ੍ਰਵੈ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
aatamaa dravai rahai liv laae |
The soul is softened, and he remains absorbed in the Lord's Love.
ਆਤਮਾ ਪਰਾਤਮਾ ਏਕੋ ਕਰੈ ॥
aatamaa paraatamaa eko karai |
His soul and the Supreme Soul become one.
ਅੰਤਰ ਕੀ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਮਰੈ ॥੧॥
antar kee dubidhaa antar marai |1|
The duality of the inner mind is overcome. ||1||
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਇ ॥
gur parasaadee paaeaa jaae |
By Guru's Grace, God is found.
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਗੈ ਫਿਰਿ ਕਾਲੁ ਨ ਖਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har siau chit laagai fir kaal na khaae |1| rahaau |
One's consciousness is attached to the Lord, and so Death does not devour him. ||1||Pause||
ਸਚਿ ਸਿਮਰਿਐ ਹੋਵੈ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
sach simariai hovai paragaas |
Remembering the True Lord in meditation, one is enlightened.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਮਹਿ ਰਹੈ ਉਦਾਸੁ ॥
taa te bikhiaa meh rahai udaas |
Then, in the midst of Maya, he remains detached.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਐਸੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
satigur kee aisee vaddiaaee |
Such is the Glory of the True Guru;
ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕਲਤ੍ਰ ਵਿਚੇ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥
putr kalatr viche gat paaee |2|
in the midst of children and spouses, they attain emancipation. ||2||
ਐਸੀ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੈ ॥
aisee sevak sevaa karai |
Such is the service which the Lord's servant performs,
ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਧਰੈ ॥
jis kaa jeeo tis aagai dharai |
that he dedicates his soul to the Lord, to whom it belongs.
ਸਾਹਿਬ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
saahib bhaavai so paravaan |
One who is pleasing to the Lord and Master is acceptable.
ਸੋ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਵੈ ਮਾਣੁ ॥੩॥
so sevak daragah paavai maan |3|
Such a servant obtains honor in the Court of the Lord. ||3||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਵਸਾਏ ॥
satigur kee moorat hiradai vasaae |
He enshrines the image of the True Guru in his heart.
ਜੋ ਇਛੈ ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
jo ichhai soee fal paae |
He obtains the rewards which he desires.
ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੈ ॥
saachaa saahib kirapaa karai |
The True Lord and Master grants His Grace;
ਸੋ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਜਮ ਤੇ ਕੈਸਾ ਡਰੈ ॥੪॥
so sevak jam te kaisaa ddarai |4|
how can such a servant be afraid of death? ||4||
ਭਨਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਰੇ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
bhanat naanak kare veechaar |
Prays Nanak, practice contemplation,
ਸਾਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਿਉ ਧਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
saachee baanee siau dhare piaar |
and enshrine love for the True Word of His Bani.
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਪਾਵੈ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥
taa ko paavai mokh duaar |
Then, you shall find the Gate of Salvation.
ਜਪੁ ਤਪੁ ਸਭੁ ਇਹੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਹੈ ਸਾਰੁ ॥੫॥੨॥੪॥
jap tap sabh ihu sabad hai saar |5|2|4|
This Shabad is the most excellent of all chanting and austere meditations. ||5||2||4||

ਜੀਉ ਤਪਤੁ ਹੈ ਬਾਰੋ ਬਾਰ ॥
jeeo tapat hai baaro baar |
My soul burns, over and over again.
ਤਪਿ ਤਪਿ ਖਪੈ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਬੇਕਾਰ ॥
tap tap khapai bahut bekaar |
Burning and burning, it is ruined, and it falls into evil.
ਜੈ ਤਨਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਸਰਿ ਜਾਇ ॥
jai tan baanee visar jaae |
That body, which forgets the Word of the Guru's Bani,
ਜਿਉ ਪਕਾ ਰੋਗੀ ਵਿਲਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
jiau pakaa rogee vilalaae |1|
cries out in pain, like a chronic patient. ||1||
ਬਹੁਤਾ ਬੋਲਣੁ ਝਖਣੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
bahutaa bolan jhakhan hoe |
To speak too much and babble is useless.
ਵਿਣੁ ਬੋਲੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਭੁ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
vin bole jaanai sabh soe |1| rahaau |
Even without our speaking, He knows everything. ||1||Pause||
ਜਿਨਿ ਕਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਖੀ ਨਾਕੁ ॥
jin kan keete akhee naak |
He created our ears, eyes and nose.
ਜਿਨਿ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਦਿਤੀ ਬੋਲੇ ਤਾਤੁ ॥
jin jihavaa ditee bole taat |
He gave us our tongue to speak so fluently.
ਜਿਨਿ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਅਗਨੀ ਪਾਇ ॥
jin man raakhiaa aganee paae |
He preserved the mind in the fire of the womb;
ਵਾਜੈ ਪਵਣੁ ਆਖੈ ਸਭ ਜਾਇ ॥੨॥
vaajai pavan aakhai sabh jaae |2|
at His Command, the wind blows everywhere. ||2||
ਜੇਤਾ ਮੋਹੁ ਪਰੀਤਿ ਸੁਆਦ ॥
jetaa mohu pareet suaad |
These worldly attachments, loves and pleasurable tastes,
ਸਭਾ ਕਾਲਖ ਦਾਗਾ ਦਾਗ ॥
sabhaa kaalakh daagaa daag |
all are just black stains.
ਦਾਗ ਦੋਸ ਮੁਹਿ ਚਲਿਆ ਲਾਇ ॥
daag dos muhi chaliaa laae |
One who departs, with these black stains of sin on his face
ਦਰਗਹ ਬੈਸਣ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥੩॥
daragah baisan naahee jaae |3|
shall find no place to sit in the Court of the Lord. ||3||
ਕਰਮਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਆਖਣੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉ ॥
karam milai aakhan teraa naau |
By Your Grace, we chant Your Name.
ਜਿਤੁ ਲਗਿ ਤਰਣਾ ਹੋਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਥਾਉ ॥
jit lag taranaa hor nahee thaau |
Becoming attached to it, one is saved; there is no other way.
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਡੂਬੈ ਫਿਰਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸਾਰ ॥
je ko ddoobai fir hovai saar |
Even if one is drowning, still, he may be saved.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਰਬ ਦਾਤਾਰ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
naanak saachaa sarab daataar |4|3|5|
O Nanak, the True Lord is the Giver of all. ||4||3||5||
