ਜੁਧ ਬਿਖੇ ਥਕ ਗਯੋ ਰੁਕਮੀ ਤਬ ਧਾਇ ਹਲੀ ਇਕ ਘਾਇ ਚਲਾਯੋ ॥
judh bikhe thak gayo rukamee tab dhaae halee ik ghaae chalaayo |
When Rukmi got tired while fighting, then Balram struck a blow on him
ਤਉ ਉਨ ਹੂ ਅਰਿ ਕੋ ਪੁਨਿ ਘਾਇ ਸੁ ਆਵਤ ਮਾਰਗ ਮੈ ਲਖਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
tau un hoo ar ko pun ghaae su aavat maarag mai lakh paayo |
Rukmi saw the coming blow
ਤਉ ਹੀ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਗਦਾ ਅਪੁਨੀ ਅਰੁ ਚਿਤ ਬਿਖੈ ਅਤਿ ਰੋਸ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥
tau hee sanbhaar gadaa apunee ar chit bikhai at ros badtaayo |
ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਤਿਹ ਬੀਰ ਤਬੈ ਸੁ ਗਦਾ ਕੋ ਗਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਘਾਇ ਬਚਾਯੋ ॥੨੧੭੫॥
sayaam bhanai tih beer tabai su gadaa ko gadaa sang ghaae bachaayo |2175|
And then holding his mace, in great anger he intercepted the blow of the coming mace and saved himself.2175.
ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਅਰਿ ਕੋ ਜਬ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਆਵਤ ਘਾਇ ਕੋ ਬੀਚ ਨਿਵਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
sayaam bhanai ar ko jab hee ih aavat ghaae ko beech nivaariyo |
ਤਉ ਬਲਭਦ੍ਰ ਮਹਾ ਰਿਸਿ ਠਾਨਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਗਦਾ ਹੂ ਕੋ ਘਾਉ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
tau balabhadr mahaa ris tthaan su aaur gadaa hoo ko ghaau prahaariyo |
When the enemy in this way intercepted the blow, then Balram struck another blow with his mace, getting greatly enraged
ਸੋ ਇਹ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਭੀਤਰ ਲਾਗ ਗਯੋ ਇਨ ਹੂ ਨਹੀ ਨੈਕੁ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
so ih ke sir bheetar laag gayo in hoo nahee naik sanbhaariyo |
That blow fell upon the head of Rukmi and he could not control himself even slightly
ਝੂਮ ਕੈ ਦੇਹ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਧਰਨੀ ਰੁਕਮੀ ਪੁਨਿ ਅੰਤ ਕੇ ਧਾਮਿ ਸਿਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੨੧੭੬॥
jhoom kai deh pariyo dharanee rukamee pun ant ke dhaam sidhaariyo |2176|
His body fell upon the earth while swinging and in this way Rukmi went to the other world.2176.
ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਜਿਤੇ ਰੁਕਮੀ ਕੇ ਹੁਤੇ ਬਧ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭਰੇ ॥
bhraat jite rukamee ke hute badh bhraat nihaar kai krodh bhare |
ਬਰਛੀ ਅਰੁ ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਗਦਾ ਗਹਿ ਯਾ ਪਰ ਆਇ ਪਰੇ ॥
barachhee ar baan kamaan kripaan gadaa geh yaa par aae pare |
All the brothers of Rukmi, seeing him killed, got infuriated and taking their lances, bows, swords, maces etc, in their hands, fell upon Balram
ਕਿਲਕਾਰ ਦਸੋ ਦਿਸ ਘੇਰਤ ਭੇ ਮੁਸਲੀਧਰ ਤੇ ਨ ਰਤੀ ਕੁ ਡਰੇ ॥
kilakaar daso dis gherat bhe musaleedhar te na ratee ku ddare |
ਨਿਸ ਕੋ ਮਨੋ ਹੇਰਿ ਪਤੰਗ ਦੀਆ ਪਰ ਨੈਕੁ ਡਰੇ ਨਹੀ ਟੂਟ ਪਰੇ ॥੨੧੭੭॥
nis ko mano her patang deea par naik ddare nahee ttoott pare |2177|
They, challenging him fearlessly, surrounded him from all the ten direction, like the moths falling upon an earthen lamp after seeing it, without any fear.2177.
ਸੰਗ ਹਲਾਯੁਧ ਕੇ ਉਨ ਹੂ ਸੁ ਉਤੈ ਅਤਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੁਇ ਜੁਧੁ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥
sang halaayudh ke un hoo su utai at krodh hue judh machaayo |
They all fought with Balram in extreme anger
ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਕੋ ਜੁਧ ਭਯੋ ਤ੍ਰੀਅ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਇਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੂ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
bhraat ko judh bhayo treea bhraat ke sang ihai prabh joo sun paayo |
Krishna also heard that a battle had been fought by Balram, with the brother of his wife
ਬੈਠ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਯੋ ਸਭ ਹੂੰ ਜੁ ਸਬੈ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਬੁਲਾਯੋ ॥
baitth bichaar keeyo sabh hoon ju sabai jadubeer kuttanb bulaayo |
ਅਉਰ ਕਥਾ ਦਈ ਛੋਰ ਹਲੀ ਕੀ ਸਹਾਇ ਕਉ ਕੋਪਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਿਧਿ ਧਾਯੋ ॥੨੧੭੮॥
aaur kathaa dee chhor halee kee sahaae kau kop kripaanidh dhaayo |2178|
He thought about it and called all his family members, but untimately, he, without giving thought to all the other matter of Balram, rushed for this help.2178.

When Balram, who appeared like Yama, heard about the coming of Krishna the words of wisdom that he said to the brother of Rukmi, I now relate them,2179

ਦੇਖਿ ਅਨੀ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਘਨੀ ਲੀਏ ਆਵਤ ਹੈ ਡਰੁ ਤੋਹਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
dekh anee jadubeer ghanee lee aavat hai ddar tohi na aavai |
ਕਉਨ ਬਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਯੋ ਭੂਅ ਮੈ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਨ ਕਹੋ ਇਨ ਸੋ ਸਮੁਹਾਵੈ ॥
kaun balee pragattiyo bhooa mai tum hee na kaho in so samuhaavai |
“Krishna is coming with his army, have you no fear about it? Who is so powerful on the earth, who can fight with Krishna?
ਜਉ ਜੜ ਕੈ ਹਠ ਹੀ ਭਿਰ ਹੈ ਤੁ ਕਹਾ ਫਿਰ ਜੀਵਤ ਧਾਮਹਿ ਆਵੈ ॥
jau jarr kai hatth hee bhir hai tu kahaa fir jeevat dhaameh aavai |
ਆਜ ਸੋਊ ਬਚਿ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਅਉਸਰ ਜੋ ਭਜਿ ਕੈ ਭਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਬਚਾਵੈ ॥੨੧੮੦॥
aaj soaoo bach hai ih aausar jo bhaj kai bhatt praan bachaavai |2180|
“If any fool fights with him in persistence, is it possible that he would be able to save himself? Only he will be able to save himself today, who will run away and thus save his life.”2180.
ਤਉ ਲਗ ਹੀ ਜੁਤ ਕੋਪ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਿਧਿ ਆਹਵ ਕੀ ਛਿਤ ਭੀਤਰ ਆਏ ॥
tau lag hee jut kop kripaanidh aahav kee chhit bheetar aae |
Then Krishna reached the battlefield, who is the treasure of mercy
ਸ੍ਰਉਣ ਭਰਿਯੋ ਬਲਿਭਦ੍ਰ ਪਿਖਿਯੋ ਬਿਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਪਰੇ ਰੁਕਮੀ ਦਰਸਾਏ ॥
sraun bhariyo balibhadr pikhiyo bin praan pare rukamee darasaae |
There he saw Balram, saturated with blood and also the dead Rukmi
ਭੂਪਤ ਅਉਰ ਘਨੇ ਹੀ ਪਿਖੇ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਹਰਿ ਘਾਇਨ ਆਏ ॥
bhoopat aaur ghane hee pikhe kab sayaam bhanai har ghaaein aae |
ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਕਉ ਦੇਖ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਬਲਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਕੋ ਦੇਖਤ ਨੈਨ ਨਿਵਾਏ ॥੨੧੮੧॥
bhraat kau dekh prasan bhe bal naar ko dekhat nain nivaae |2181|
He also saw there many other wounded kings, but he got pleased on seeing Balram and seeing the wife of Balram, he lowered down his eyes.2181.
ਰਥ ਤੇ ਤਬ ਆਪਹਿ ਧਾਇ ਕੈ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਜੂ ਜਾਇ ਹਲੀ ਕਹੁ ਅੰਕਿ ਲੀਓ ॥
rath te tab aapeh dhaae kai sayaam joo jaae halee kahu ank leeo |
Then Krishna dismounted from the chariot and hugged him
ਫੁਨਿ ਅਉਰਨ ਜਾਹਿ ਗਹਿਯੋ ਰੁਕਮੀ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਸੁ ਭਲੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਦਾਹ ਕੀਓ ॥
fun aauran jaeh gahiyo rukamee tih ko su bhalee bidh daah keeo |
Then others carried away the dead body of Rukmi and performed his funeral rites
ਉਤਿ ਦਉਰਿ ਰੁਕਮਨ ਭਇਯਨ ਬੀਚ ਗਈ ਤਿਨ ਜਾਏ ਸਮੋਧ ਕੀਓ ॥
aut daur rukaman bheiyan beech gee tin jaae samodh keeo |
On the other side Rukmani reached amongst her brothers and instructed them not to fight with Krishna
ਕਿਹ ਕਾਜ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਇਨ ਸੋ ਤੁਮ ਜੂਝ ਕੀਯੋ ਜਿਨ ਸੋ ਭਟ ਕੋ ਨ ਬੀਓ ॥੨੧੮੨॥
kih kaaj kahiyo in so tum joojh keeyo jin so bhatt ko na beeo |2182|
There is no other hero like him.2182.

Krishna also made them understand and came to his place taking his daughter-in-law with him

sayaam kathaa hvai hai mai kaihau |
ਸ੍ਰੋਤਨ ਭਲੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਿਝਵੈ ਹਉ ॥੨੧੮੩॥
srotan bhalee bhaat rijhavai hau |2183|
I, the poet Shyam, am relating the story and pleasing the listeners.2183.

Krishna came home after the marriage of his son and became extremely pleased in his mind
ਗਰਬ ਉਤੈ ਦਸ ਸੈ ਭੁਜ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
garab utai das sai bhuj keeno |
ਮੈ ਬਰੁ ਮਹਾਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਲੀਨੋ ॥੨੧੮੪॥
mai bar mahaarudr te leeno |2184|
On the other side Sahasarabahu became egoistic on receiving the boon from Rudra (Shiva).2184.

Third Mehl:
ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵੇ ਸਾਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
bin satigur seve saat na aavee doojee naahee jaae |
Without serving the True Guru, peace is not obtained, and the sense of duality does not depart.
ਜੇ ਬਹੁਤੇਰਾ ਲੋਚੀਐ ਵਿਣੁ ਕਰਮੈ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਇ ॥
je bahuteraa locheeai vin karamai na paaeaa jaae |
No matter how much one may wish, without the Lord's Grace, He is not found.
ਜਿਨੑਾ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭ ਵਿਕਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਖੁਆਇ ॥
jinaa antar lobh vikaar hai doojai bhaae khuaae |
Those who are filled with greed and corruption are ruined by the love of duality.
ਜੰਮਣੁ ਮਰਣੁ ਨ ਚੁਕਈ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇ ॥
jaman maran na chukee haumai vich dukh paae |
They cannot escape birth and death, and with egotism within them, they suffer in misery.
ਜਿਨੑਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਿਉ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ਸੁ ਖਾਲੀ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
jinaa satigur siau chit laaeaa su khaalee koee naeh |
Those who center their consciousness on the True Guru, never go empty-handed.
ਤਿਨ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤਲਬ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਨਾ ਓਇ ਦੁਖ ਸਹਾਹਿ ॥
tin jam kee talab na hovee naa oe dukh sahaeh |
They are not summoned by the Messenger of Death, and they do not suffer in pain.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਉਬਰੇ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
naanak guramukh ubare sachai sabad samaeh |2|
O Nanak, the Gurmukhs are saved; they merge in the True Lord. ||2||

ਢਾਢੀ ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਆਖੀਐ ਜਿ ਖਸਮੈ ਧਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
dtaadtee tis no aakheeai ji khasamai dhare piaar |
He alone is called a minstrel, who enshrines love for his Lord and Master.
ਦਰਿ ਖੜਾ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇ ਗੁਰਸਬਦੀ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
dar kharraa sevaa kare gurasabadee veechaar |
Standing at the Lord's Door, he serves the Lord, and reflects upon the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
ਢਾਢੀ ਦਰੁ ਘਰੁ ਪਾਇਸੀ ਸਚੁ ਰਖੈ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
dtaadtee dar ghar paaeisee sach rakhai ur dhaar |
The minstrel attains the Lord's Gate and Mansion, and he keeps the True Lord clasped to his heart.
ਢਾਢੀ ਕਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਅਗਲਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਇ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥
dtaadtee kaa mehal agalaa har kai naae piaar |
The status of the minstrel is exalted; he loves the Name of the Lord.
ਢਾਢੀ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਿ ॥੧੮॥
dtaadtee kee sevaa chaakaree har jap har nisataar |18|
The service of the minstrel is to meditate on the Lord; he is emancipated by the Lord. ||18||

ਗੂਜਰੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਗਵਾਰਿ ਜਾ ਸਹੁ ਪਾਏ ਆਪਣਾ ॥

The milkmaid's status is very low, but she attains her Husband Lord
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਣਾ ॥
gur kai sabad veechaar anadin har jap jaapanaa |
when she reflects upon the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and chants the Lord's Name, night and day.
ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਉ ਪਵੈ ਸਾ ਕੁਲਵੰਤੀ ਨਾਰਿ ॥
jis satigur milai tis bhau pavai saa kulavantee naar |
She who meets the True Guru, lives in the Fear of God; she is a woman of noble birth.
ਸਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਕੰਤ ਕਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥
saa hukam pachhaanai kant kaa jis no kripaa keetee karataar |
She alone realizes the Hukam of her Husband Lord's Command, who is blessed by the Creator Lord's Mercy.
ਓਹ ਕੁਚਜੀ ਕੁਲਖਣੀ ਪਰਹਰਿ ਛੋਡੀ ਭਤਾਰਿ ॥
oeh kuchajee kulakhanee parahar chhoddee bhataar |
She who is of little merit and ill-mannered, is discarded and forsaken by her Husband Lord.
ਭੈ ਪਇਐ ਮਲੁ ਕਟੀਐ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਵੈ ਸਰੀਰੁ ॥
bhai peiai mal katteeai niramal hovai sareer |
By the Fear of God, filth is washed off, and the body becomes immaculately pure.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ਮਤਿ ਊਤਮ ਹੋਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੀਰੁ ॥
antar paragaas mat aootam hovai har jap gunee gaheer |
The soul is enlightened, and the intellect is exalted, meditating on the Lord, the ocean of excellence.
ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਬੈਸੈ ਭੈ ਰਹੈ ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਕਾਰ ॥
bhai vich baisai bhai rahai bhai vich kamaavai kaar |
One who dwells in the Fear of God, lives in the Fear of God, and acts in the Fear of God.
ਐਥੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਵਡਿਆਈਆ ਦਰਗਹ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰ ॥
aithai sukh vaddiaaeea daragah mokh duaar |
He obtains peace and glorious greatness here, in the Lord's Court, and at the Gate of Salvation.
ਭੈ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਿਲਿ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
bhai te nirbhau paaeeai mil jotee jot apaar |
Through the Fear of God, the Fearless Lord is obtained, and one's light merges in the Infinite Light.
ਨਾਨਕ ਖਸਮੈ ਭਾਵੈ ਸਾ ਭਲੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸੇ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
naanak khasamai bhaavai saa bhalee jis no aape bakhase karataar |1|
O Nanak, that bride alone is good, who is pleasing to her Lord and Master, and whom the Creator Lord Himself forgives. ||1||

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਾਲਾਹੀਐ ਸਚੇ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥

Praise the Lord, forever and ever, and make yourself a sacrifice to the True Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਏਕੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਦੂਜੈ ਲਗੈ ਸਾ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਜਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥੨॥
naanak ek chhodd doojai lagai saa jihavaa jal jaau |2|
O Nanak, let that tongue be burnt, which renounces the One Lord, and attaches itself to another. ||2||

ਅੰਸਾ ਅਉਤਾਰੁ ਉਪਾਇਓਨੁ ਭਾਉ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੀਆ ॥

From a single particle of His greatness, He created His incarnations, but they indulged in the love of duality.
ਜਿਉ ਰਾਜੇ ਰਾਜੁ ਕਮਾਵਦੇ ਦੁਖ ਸੁਖ ਭਿੜੀਆ ॥
jiau raaje raaj kamaavade dukh sukh bhirreea |
They ruled like kings, and fought for pleasure and pain.
ਈਸਰੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਸੇਵਦੇ ਅੰਤੁ ਤਿਨੑੀ ਨ ਲਹੀਆ ॥
eesar brahamaa sevade ant tinaee na laheea |
Those who serve Shiva and Brahma do not find the limits of the Lord.
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਅਲਖੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੀਆ ॥
nirbhau nirankaar alakh hai guramukh pragatteea |
The Fearless, Formless Lord is unseen and invisible; He is revealed only to the Gurmukh.
ਤਿਥੈ ਸੋਗੁ ਵਿਜੋਗੁ ਨ ਵਿਆਪਈ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਜਗਿ ਥੀਆ ॥੧੯॥
tithai sog vijog na viaapee asathir jag theea |19|
There, one does not suffer sorrow or separation; he becomes stable and immortal in the world. ||19||

Salok, Third Mehl:
ਏਹੁ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੁ ਹੈ ਜੇਤਾ ਹੈ ਆਕਾਰੁ ॥
ehu sabh kichh aavan jaan hai jetaa hai aakaar |
All these things come and go, all these things of the world.
ਜਿਨਿ ਏਹੁ ਲੇਖਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੋ ਹੋਆ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
jin ehu lekhaa likhiaa so hoaa paravaan |
One who knows this written account is acceptable and approved.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੇ ਕੋ ਆਪੁ ਗਣਾਇਦਾ ਸੋ ਮੂਰਖੁ ਗਾਵਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
naanak je ko aap ganaaeidaa so moorakh gaavaar |1|
O Nanak, anyone who takes pride in himself is foolish and unwise. ||1||

Third Mehl:
ਮਨੁ ਕੁੰਚਰੁ ਪੀਲਕੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਕੁੰਡਾ ਜਹ ਖਿੰਚੇ ਤਹ ਜਾਇ ॥
man kunchar peelak guroo giaan kunddaa jeh khinche teh jaae |
The mind is the elephant, the Guru is the elephant-driver, and knowledge is the whip. Wherever the Guru drives the mind, it goes.
ਨਾਨਕ ਹਸਤੀ ਕੁੰਡੇ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਉਝੜਿ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥
naanak hasatee kundde baaharaa fir fir ujharr paae |2|
O Nanak, without the whip, the elephant wanders into the wilderness, again and again. ||2||

ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਜਿਨਿ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥
tis aagai aradaas jin upaaeaa |
I offer my prayer to the One, from whom I was created.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਣਾ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਭ ਫਲ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
satigur apanaa sev sabh fal paaeaa |
Serving my True Guru, I have obtained all the fruits.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
amrit har kaa naau sadaa dhiaaeaa |
I meditate continually on the Ambrosial Name of the Lord.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥
sant janaa kai sang dukh mittaaeaa |
In the Society of the Saints, I am rid of my pain and suffering.
ਨਾਨਕ ਭਏ ਅਚਿੰਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਨਿਹਚਲਾਇਆ ॥੨੦॥
naanak bhe achint har dhan nihachalaaeaa |20|
O Nanak, I have become care-free; I have obtained the imperishable wealth of the Lord. ||20||
