ਅਉਰ ਹਨੇ ਸੁ ਬਨੈਤ ਬਨੇ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਘਨੇ ਜਮਲੋਕਿ ਸਿਧਾਰੇ ॥
aaur hane su banait bane jadubeer ghane jamalok sidhaare |
Kritash Singh killed four warriors in the war from the side of Krishna and killed dispatched many others to the abode of Yama
ਜਾਇ ਭਿਰਿਯੋ ਜਗਤੇਸ ਬਲੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਆਪਨੇ ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਰੇ ॥

ਅਉਰ ਜਿਤੇ ਰਨਿ ਠਾਢੇ ਹੁਤੇ ਭਟ ਪੇਖਿ ਤਿਨੈ ਸਰ ਜਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥੧੩੬੨॥
aaur jite ran tthaadte hute bhatt pekh tinai sar jaal prahaare |1362|
All the other warriors who were standing there at that time, they began to shower arrows on Kritesh Singh.1362.
ਮਾਰਿ ਬਿਦਾਰ ਦਯੋ ਦਲ ਕੋ ਬਹੁਰੋ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਕਰਵਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ ॥

ਧਾਇ ਕੈ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ਆਇ ਅਰਿਓ ਜਗਤੇਸ ਕੇ ਸੀਸ ਹੂੰ ਹਾਥ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਿਓ ॥
dhaae kai jaae kai aae ario jagates ke sees hoon haath prahaario |
After killing many warriors of the army of the enemy, he caught hold of his sword and stabilising himself, he struck a blow on the head of Jagtesh Singh
ਦੁਇ ਧਰ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਿਰਿਯੋ ਰਥ ਤੇ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਕਬਿ ਭਾਵ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਓ ॥

maano pahaar ke aoopar saaleh beej paree tih due kar ddaario |1363|

ਮਤ ਦੁਰਦ ਜਿਉ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੈ ਆਵਤ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਇ ॥੧੩੬੪॥
mat durad jiau singh pai aavat kop badtaae |1364|
Within this time, Kathin Singh, coming out of his army-unit fell down on him like an intoxicated elephant in great rage.1364.

ਆਵਤ ਹੀ ਅਰਿ ਕੋ ਤਿਹ ਹੇਰਿ ਸੁ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਓ ॥
aavat hee ar ko tih her su ek hee baan ke sang sanghaario |
ਅਉਰ ਜਿਤੋ ਦਲ ਸਾਥ ਹੁਤੋ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਘਰੀ ਏਕ ਬਿਖੈ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰਿਓ ॥
aaur jito dal saath huto tih ko gharee ek bikhai han ddaario |
Seeing the enemy coming, he killed him with a single arrow and also killed the army supporting him in an instant
ਬੀਰ ਘਨੇ ਜਦੁ ਬੀਰਨ ਕੇ ਹਤਿ ਕੋਪ ਕੈ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕੀ ਓਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਓ ॥

ਆਇ ਲਰੋ ਨ ਡਰੋ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਰਨਿ ਠਾਢੇ ਕਹਾ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿਓ ॥੧੩੬੫॥
aae laro na ddaro har joo ran tthaadte kahaa ih bhaat uchaario |1365|
He killed many Yadava warriors in his fury, saw towards Krishna and said, “Why are you standing? Come and fight with me.”1365.
ਤਉ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਤਬ ਦਾਰੁਕ ਸ︀ਯੰਦਨ ਕੋ ਸੁ ਧਵਾਯੋ ॥
tau har joo kar kop chaliyo tab daaruk sayandan ko su dhavaayo |
ਪਾਨਿ ਲੀਯੋ ਅਸਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਸੰਭਾਰ ਕੈ ਤਾਹਿ ਹਕਾਰ ਕੈ ਤਾਕਿ ਚਲਾਯੋ ॥
paan leeyo as sayaam sanbhaar kai taeh hakaar kai taak chalaayo |
Then Krishna, in anger, caused his chariot to be driven by Daruk, went towards him. He held his sword in his hand and challenging him, struck a blow on him,
ਢਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਈ ਹਰਿ ਤਾਹੀ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਕੈ ਵਾਰ ਬਚਾਯੋ ॥
dtaal kritaasatr singh lee har taahee kee ott kai vaar bachaayo |
ਆਪਨੀ ਕਾਢਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਮਿਯਾਨ ਤੇ ਦਾਰੁਕ ਕੇ ਤਨ ਘਾਉ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥੧੩੬੬॥
aapanee kaadt kripaan miyaan te daaruk ke tan ghaau lagaayo |1366|
But Krata Singh saved himself with his shield and taking out his sword from his scabbard, wounded Daruk, the charioteer of Krishna.1366.
ਜੁਧ ਕਰੈ ਕਰਵਾਰਨ ਕੋ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਦੋਊ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਢਾਏ ॥
judh karai karavaaran ko man mai at hee doaoo krodh badtaae |
Both of them, highly infuriated, began to fight with their swords
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਅਰਿ ਘਾਇ ਲਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਰਿਪੁ ਘਾਇ ਲਗਾਏ ॥
sree har joo ar ghaae layo tab hee har ko rip ghaae lagaae |
When Krishna inflicted a wound on the enemy, then he also inflicted a wound a Krishna.
ਕਉਤਕਿ ਦੇਖਿ ਦੋਊ ਠਟਕੇ ਦਲ ਬਿਓਮ ਤੇ ਦੇਵਨ ਬੈਨ ਸੁਨਾਏ ॥
kautak dekh doaoo tthattake dal biom te devan bain sunaae |
ਲਾਗੀ ਅਵਾਰ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ਸੁਨੋ ਪਲ ਮੈ ਮਧੁ ਸੇ ਮੁਰ ਸੇ ਤੁਮ ਘਾਏ ॥੧੩੬੭॥
laagee avaar muraar suno pal mai madh se mur se tum ghaae |1367|
Seeing this sport from the sky, the gods said, “O Krishna! you are delaying, because you killed the demons like Mur and Madhu Kaitabh in an instant.”1367.
ਚਾਰ ਮਹੂਰਤ ਜੁਧੁ ਭਯੋ ਥਕ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਇਹ ਘਾਤ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਓ ॥

ਮਾਰਹੁ ਨਾਹਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਸੁ ਸਹੀ ਮੁਰਿ ਕੈ ਅਰਿ ਪਾਛੇ ਕੀ ਓਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਓ ॥
maarahu naeh kahiyo su sahee mur kai ar paachhe kee or nihaario |
The war continued throughout the day, then Krishna devised a method. He said, “I am not killing you,” and saying this, when the enemy looked behind,
ਐਸੇ ਹੀ ਤੀਛਨ ਲੈ ਅਸਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਕੀ ਗ੍ਰੀਵ ਕੇ ਊਪਰ ਝਾਰਿਓ ॥
aise hee teechhan lai as sree har satr kee greev ke aoopar jhaario |
ਐਸੀ ਏ ਭਾਤਿ ਹਨਿਓ ਰਿਪੁ ਕਉ ਅਪਨੇ ਦਲ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਨਿਵਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੩੬੮॥
aisee e bhaat hanio rip kau apane dal ko sabh traas nivaariyo |1368|
He very quickly at that very instant, struck a blow on the neck of the enemy with his sharp sword and in this way, killing the enemy, removed the fear of his army.1368.
ਯੌ ਅਰਿ ਮਾਰਿ ਲਯੋ ਰਨ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
yau ar maar layo ran mai at hee man mai har joo sukh paayo |
ਆਪਨੀ ਸੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਰ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ਮਹਾ ਬਲੁ ਧਾਰ ਕੈ ਸੰਖ ਬਜਾਯੋ ॥
aapanee sain nihaar muraar mahaa bal dhaar kai sankh bajaayo |
In this way, killing his enemy, Krishna was pleased and looking at his army, he blew his conch forcefully
ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਸਬ ਲਾਇਕ ਨਾਮ ਕਹਾਯੋ ॥
sant sahaaeik sree brij naaeik hai sab laaeik naam kahaayo |
He is the support of the saints and capable of doing everything, he, the Lord of Braja
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਮੁਖ ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਚਤੁਰੰਗ ਚਮੂੰ ਰਨ ਜੁਧੁ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥੧੩੬੯॥
sree har joo mukh aise kahiyo chaturang chamoon ran judh machaayo |1369|
Under his command, his army of four divisions, waged a terrible war in the battlefield.1369.
