ਅਦ੍ਵੈ ਅਨਾਸ ਆਸਨ ਅਡੋਲ ॥

He is Non-dual, Indestructible, and hath Steady Seat.!
ਅਦ੍ਵੈ ਅਨੰਤ ਉਪਮਾ ਅਤੋਲ ॥
advai anant upamaa atol |
He is Non-dual, Endless and of Immeasurable (Unweighable) Praise
ਅਛੈ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਬ︀ਯਕਤ ਨਾਥ ॥
achhai saroop abayakat naath |
He is Unassailable Entity and Unmanifested Lord,!
ਆਜਾਨ ਬਾਹੁ ਸਰਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਥ ॥੧॥੨੬੭॥
aajaan baahu sarabaa pramaath |1|267|
He is the Motivator of gods and destroyer of all. 1. 267;
ਜਹ ਤਹ ਮਹੀਪ ਬਨ ਤਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲ ॥
jeh teh maheep ban tin praful |
He is the Sovereign here, there, everywhere; He blossoms in forests and blades of grass.!
ਸੋਭਾ ਬਸੰਤ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਪ੍ਰਡੁਲ ॥
sobhaa basant jeh teh praddul |
Like the Splendour of the spring He is scattered here and there
ਬਨ ਤਨ ਦੁਰੰਤ ਖਗ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਮਹਾਨ ॥
ban tan durant khag mrig mahaan |
He, the Infinite and Supreme Lord is within the forest, blade of grass, bird and deer. !
ਜਹ ਤਹ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੨॥੨੬੮॥
jeh teh praful sundar sujaan |2|268|
He blossoms here, there and everywhere, the Beautiful and All-Knowing. 2. 268
ਫੁਲਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲ ਲਹਿ ਲਹਿਤ ਮੌਰ ॥
fulatan praful leh lahit mauar |
The peacocks are delighted to see the blossoming flowers. !
ਸਿਰ ਢੁਲਹਿ ਜਾਨ ਮਨ ਮਥਹਿ ਚੌਰ ॥
sir dtuleh jaan man matheh chauar |
With bowed heads they are accepting the impact of Cupid
ਕੁਦਰਤ ਕਮਾਲ ਰਾਜਕ ਰਹੀਮ ॥
kudarat kamaal raajak raheem |
O Sustainer and Merciful Lord! Thy Nature is Marvellous, !
ਕਰੁਣਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਕਾਮਲ ਕਰੀਮ ॥੩॥੨੬੯॥
karunaa nidhaan kaamal kareem |3|269|
O the Treasure of Mercy, Perfect and Gracious Lord! 3. 269
ਜਂਹ ਤਂਹ ਬਿਲੋਕ ਤਂਹ ਤਂਹ ਪ੍ਰਸੋਹ ॥
janh tanh bilok tanh tanh prasoh |
Wherever I see, I feel Thy Touch there, O Motivator of gods.!
ਅਜਾਨੁ ਬਾਹੁ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਮੋਹ ॥
ajaan baahu amitoj moh |
Thy Unlimited Glory is bewitching the mind
ਰੋਸੰ ਬਿਰਹਤ ਕਰਣਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥
rosan birahat karanaa nidhaan |
Thou art devoid of anger, O Treasure of Mercy! Thou blossomest here, there and everywhere, !
ਜਂਹ ਤਂਹ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੪॥੨੭੦॥

O Beautiful and All-Knowing Lord! 4. 270
ਬਨ ਤਿਨ ਮਹੀਪ ਜਲ ਥਲ ਮਹਾਨ ॥
ban tin maheep jal thal mahaan |
Thou art the king of forests and blades of grass, O Supreme Lorrd of waters and land! !
ਜਂਹ ਤਂਹ ਪ੍ਰਸੋਹ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥
janh tanh prasoh karunaa nidhaan |
O the Treasure of Mercy, I feel Thy touch everywhere
ਜਗਮਗਤ ਤੇਜ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ॥
jagamagat tej pooran prataap |
The Light is glittering, O perfectly Glorious Lord!!
ਅੰਬਰ ਜਿਮੀਨ ਜਿਹ ਜਪਤ ਜਾਪ ॥੫॥੨੭੧॥
anbar jimeen jih japat jaap |5|271|
The Heaven and Earth are repeating Thy Name. 5. 271
ਸਾਤੋ ਅਕਾਸ ਸਾਤੋ ਪਤਾਰ ॥
saato akaas saato pataar |
In all the seven Heavens and seven nether-worlds !
ਬਿਥਰਿਓ ਅਦਿਸਟ ਜਿਹ ਕਰਮ ਜਾਰਿ ॥
bithario adisatt jih karam jaar |
His net of karmas (actions) is invisibly spread.
ਉਸਤਤ ਸੰਪੂਰਣੰ ॥
ausatat sanpooranan |
Praise is complete.
ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥

Siree Raag, Third Mehl:
ਇਕਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਉ ਕੈ ਦਰਿ ਪੂਛਉ ਜਾਇ ॥
eik pir raaveh aapanaa hau kai dar poochhau jaae |
Some enjoy their Husband Lord; unto whose door should I go to ask for Him?
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਿ ਮੈ ਪਿਰੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
satigur sevee bhaau kar mai pir dehu milaae |
I serve my True Guru with love, that He may lead me to Union with my Husband Lord.
ਸਭੁ ਉਪਾਏ ਆਪੇ ਵੇਖੈ ਕਿਸੁ ਨੇੜੈ ਕਿਸੁ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
sabh upaae aape vekhai kis nerrai kis door |
He created all, and He Himself watches over us. Some are close to Him, and some are far away.
ਜਿਨਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਸੰਗੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵੇ ਸਦਾ ਹਦੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
jin pir sange jaaniaa pir raave sadaa hadoor |1|
She who knows her Husband Lord to be always with her, enjoys His Constant Presence. ||1||
ਮੁੰਧੇ ਤੂ ਚਲੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਇ ॥
mundhe too chal gur kai bhaae |
O woman, you must walk in harmony with the Guru's Will.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
anadin raaveh pir aapanaa sahaje sach samaae |1| rahaau |
Night and day, you shall enjoy your Husband, and you shall intuitively merge into the True One. ||1||Pause||
ਸਬਦਿ ਰਤੀਆ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ ॥
sabad rateea sohaaganee sachai sabad seegaar |
Attuned to the Shabad, the happy soul-brides are adorned with the True Word of the Shabad.
ਹਰਿ ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਘਰਿ ਆਪਣੈ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਹੇਤਿ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥
har var paaein ghar aapanai gur kai het piaar |
Within their own home, they obtain the Lord as their Husband, with love for the Guru.
ਸੇਜ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਵੈ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥
sej suhaavee har rang ravai bhagat bhare bhanddaar |
Upon her beautiful and cozy bed, she enjoys the Love of her Lord. She is overflowing with the treasure of devotion.
ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਜਿ ਸਭਸੈ ਦੇਇ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
so prabh preetam man vasai ji sabhasai dee adhaar |2|
That Beloved God abides in her mind; He gives His Support to all. ||2||
ਪਿਰੁ ਸਾਲਾਹਨਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਹਉ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਾਉ ॥
pir saalaahan aapanaa tin kai hau sad balihaarai jaau |
I am forever a sacrifice to those who praise their Husband Lord.
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪੀ ਸਿਰੁ ਦੇਈ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਲਾਗਾ ਪਾਇ ॥
man tan arapee sir deee tin kai laagaa paae |
I dedicate my mind and body to them, and give my head as well; I fall at their feet.
ਜਿਨੀ ਇਕੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਚੁਕਾਇ ॥
jinee ik pachhaaniaa doojaa bhaau chukaae |
Those who recognize the One renounce the love of duality.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਛਾਣੀਐ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੩॥੨੯॥੬੨॥
guramukh naam pachhaaneeai naanak sach samaae |3|29|62|
The Gurmukh recognizes the Naam, O Nanak, and is absorbed into the True One. ||3||29||62||

Siree Raag, Third Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਸਚਾ ਸਚੁ ਤੂ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੇਰੈ ਚੀਰੈ ॥
har jee sachaa sach too sabh kichh terai cheerai |
O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. All things are in Your Power.
ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਤਰਸਦੇ ਫਿਰੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟੇ ਪੀਰੈ ॥
lakh chauraaseeh tarasade fire bin gur bhette peerai |
The 8.4 million species of beings wander around searching for You, but without the Guru, they do not find You.
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਬਖਸੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਲਏ ਸੂਖ ਸਦਾ ਸਰੀਰੈ ॥
har jeeo bakhase bakhas le sookh sadaa sareerai |
When the Dear Lord grants His Forgiveness, this human body finds lasting peace.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਸੇਵ ਕਰੀ ਸਚੁ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰੈ ॥੧॥
gur parasaadee sev karee sach gahir ganbheerai |1|
By Guru's Grace, I serve the True One, who is Immeasurably Deep and Profound. ||1||
ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
man mere naam rate sukh hoe |
O my mind, attuned to the Naam, you shall find peace.
ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹੀਐ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
guramatee naam salaaheeai doojaa avar na koe |1| rahaau |
Follow the Guru's Teachings, and praise the Naam; there is no other at all. ||1||Pause||
ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਨੋ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਹੈ ਬਹਿ ਸਚਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
dharam raae no hukam hai beh sachaa dharam beechaar |
The Righteous Judge of Dharma, by the Hukam of God's Command, sits and administers True Justice.
ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਦੁਸਟੁ ਆਤਮਾ ਓਹੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ॥
doojai bhaae dusatt aatamaa ohu teree sarakaar |
Those evil souls, ensnared by the love of duality, are subject to Your Command.
ਅਧਿਆਤਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਤਾਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਜਪਹਿ ਏਕੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥
adhiaatamee har gun taas man japeh ek muraar |
The souls on their spiritual journey chant and meditate within their minds on the One Lord, the Treasure of Excellence.
ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਕਰੈ ਧੰਨੁ ਸਵਾਰਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
tin kee sevaa dharam raae karai dhan savaaranahaar |2|
The Righteous Judge of Dharma serves them; blessed is the Lord who adorns them. ||2||
ਮਨ ਕੇ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਮਨਹਿ ਤਜੈ ਮਨਿ ਚੂਕੈ ਮੋਹੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥
man ke bikaar maneh tajai man chookai mohu abhimaan |
One who eliminates mental wickedness from within the mind, and casts out emotional attachment and egotistical pride,
ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਸਹਜੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਨੁ ॥
aatam raam pachhaaniaa sahaje naam samaan |
comes to recognize the All-pervading Soul, and is intuitively absorbed into the Naam.
ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਫਿਰੈ ਦਿਵਾਨੁ ॥
bin satigur mukat na paaeeai manamukh firai divaan |
Without the True Guru, the self-willed manmukhs do not find liberation; they wander around like lunatics.
ਸਬਦੁ ਨ ਚੀਨੈ ਕਥਨੀ ਬਦਨੀ ਕਰੇ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਨੁ ॥੩॥
sabad na cheenai kathanee badanee kare bikhiaa maeh samaan |3|
They do not contemplate the Shabad; engrossed in corruption, they utter only empty words. ||3||
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
sabh kichh aape aap hai doojaa avar na koe |
He Himself is everything; there is no other at all.
ਜਿਉ ਬੋਲਾਏ ਤਿਉ ਬੋਲੀਐ ਜਾ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਸੋਇ ॥
jiau bolaae tiau boleeai jaa aap bulaae soe |
I speak just as He makes me speak, when He Himself makes me speak.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਹੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
guramukh baanee braham hai sabad milaavaa hoe |
The Word of the Gurmukh is God Himself. Through the Shabad, we merge in Him.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਲਿ ਤੂ ਜਿਤੁ ਸੇਵਿਐ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੩੦॥੬੩॥
naanak naam samaal too jit seviai sukh hoe |4|30|63|
O Nanak, remember the Naam; serving Him, peace is obtained. ||4||30||63||
