ਹਰਿ ਜੇਠਿ ਜੁੜੰਦਾ ਲੋੜੀਐ ਜਿਸੁ ਅਗੈ ਸਭਿ ਨਿਵੰਨਿ ॥

har jetth jurrandaa lorreeai jis agai sabh nivan |

In the month of Jayt'h, the bride longs to meet with the Lord. All bow in humility before Him.

ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣ ਦਾਵਣਿ ਲਗਿਆ ਕਿਸੈ ਨ ਦੇਈ ਬੰਨਿ ॥

har sajan daavan lagiaa kisai na deee ban |

One who has grasped the hem of the robe of the Lord, the True Friend-no one can keep him in bondage.

ਮਾਣਕ ਮੋਤੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਉਨ ਲਗੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੰਨਿ ॥

maanak motee naam prabh un lagai naahee san |

God's Name is the Jewel, the Pearl. It cannot be stolen or taken away.

ਰੰਗ ਸਭੇ ਨਾਰਾਇਣੈ ਜੇਤੇ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵੰਨਿ ॥

rang sabhe naaraaeinai jete man bhaavan |

In the Lord are all pleasures which please the mind.

ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਲੋੜੇ ਸੋ ਕਰੇ ਸੋਈ ਜੀਅ ਕਰੰਨਿ ॥

jo har lorre so kare soee jeea karan |

As the Lord wishes, so He acts, and so His creatures act.

ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕੀਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਈ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਧੰਨਿ ॥

jo prabh keete aapane seee kaheeeh dhan |

They alone are called blessed, whom God has made His Own.

ਆਪਣ ਲੀਆ ਜੇ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਿਛੁੜਿ ਕਿਉ ਰੋਵੰਨਿ ॥

aapan leea je milai vichhurr kiau rovan |

If people could meet the Lord by their own efforts, why would they be crying out in the pain of separation?

ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੁ ਪਰਾਪਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣੰਨਿ ॥

saadhoo sang paraapate naanak rang maanan |

Meeting Him in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, O Nanak, celestial bliss is enjoyed.

ਹਰਿ ਜੇਠੁ ਰੰਗੀਲਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਧਣੀ ਜਿਸ ਕੈ ਭਾਗੁ ਮਥੰਨਿ ॥੪॥

har jetth rangeelaa tis dhanee jis kai bhaag mathan |4|

In the month of Jayt'h, the playful Husband Lord meets her, upon whose forehead such good destiny is recorded. ||4||

ਆਸਾੜੁ ਤਪੰਦਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਲਗੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਹੁ ਨ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਪਾਸਿ ॥

aasaarr tapandaa tis lagai har naahu na jinaa paas |

The month of Aasaarh seems burning hot, to those who are not close to their Husband Lord.

ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਕੈ ਮਾਣਸ ਸੰਦੀ ਆਸ ॥

jagajeevan purakh tiaag kai maanas sandee aas |

They have forsaken God the Primal Being, the Life of the World, and they have come to rely upon mere mortals.

ਦੁਯੈ ਭਾਇ ਵਿਗੁਚੀਐ ਗਲਿ ਪਈਸੁ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਫਾਸ ॥

duyai bhaae vigucheeai gal pees jam kee faas |

In the love of duality, the soul-bride is ruined; around her neck she wears the noose of Death.

ਜੇਹਾ ਬੀਜੈ ਸੋ ਲੁਣੈ ਮਥੈ ਜੋ ਲਿਖਿਆਸੁ ॥

jehaa beejai so lunai mathai jo likhiaas |

As you plant, so shall you harvest; your destiny is recorded on your forehead.

ਰੈਣਿ ਵਿਹਾਣੀ ਪਛੁਤਾਣੀ ਉਠਿ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਨਿਰਾਸ ॥

rain vihaanee pachhutaanee utth chalee gee niraas |

The life-night passes away, and in the end, one comes to regret and repent, and then depart with no hope at all.

ਜਿਨ ਕੌ ਸਾਧੂ ਭੇਟੀਐ ਸੋ ਦਰਗਹ ਹੋਇ ਖਲਾਸੁ ॥

jin kau saadhoo bhetteeai so daragah hoe khalaas |

Those who meet with the Holy Saints are liberated in the Court of the Lord.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਹੋਇ ਪਿਆਸ ॥

kar kirapaa prabh aapanee tere darasan hoe piaas |

Show Your Mercy to me, O God; I am thirsty for the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥

prabh tudh bin doojaa ko nahee naanak kee aradaas |

Without You, God, there is no other at all. This is Nanak's humble prayer.

ਆਸਾੜੁ ਸੁਹੰਦਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਲਗੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥੫॥

aasaarr suhandaa tis lagai jis man har charan nivaas |5|

The month of Aasaarh is pleasant, when the Feet of the Lord abide in the mind. ||5||

ਸਾਵਣਿ ਸਰਸੀ ਕਾਮਣੀ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਸਿਉ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥

saavan sarasee kaamanee charan kamal siau piaar |

In the month of Saawan, the soul-bride is happy, if she falls in love with the Lotus Feet of the Lord.

ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਰਤਾ ਸਚ ਰੰਗਿ ਇਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥

man tan rataa sach rang iko naam adhaar |

Her mind and body are imbued with the Love of the True One; His Name is her only Support.

ਬਿਖਿਆ ਰੰਗ ਕੂੜਾਵਿਆ ਦਿਸਨਿ ਸਭੇ ਛਾਰੁ ॥

bikhiaa rang koorraaviaa disan sabhe chhaar |

The pleasures of corruption are false. All that is seen shall turn to ashes.

ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੂੰਦ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਪੀਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥

har amrit boond suhaavanee mil saadhoo peevanahaar |

The drops of the Lord's Nectar are so beautiful! Meeting the Holy Saint, we drink these in.

ਵਣੁ ਤਿਣੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਉਲਿਆ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਥ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥

van tin prabh sang mauliaa samrath purakh apaar |

The forests and the meadows are rejuvenated and refreshed with the Love of God, the All-powerful, Infinite Primal Being.

ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਣੈ ਨੋ ਮਨੁ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਕਰਮਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥

har milanai no man lochadaa karam milaavanahaar |

My mind yearns to meet the Lord. If only He would show His Mercy, and unite me with Himself!

ਜਿਨੀ ਸਖੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੰਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥

jinee sakhee prabh paaeaa hnau tin kai sad balihaar |

Those brides who have obtained God-I am forever a sacrifice to them.

ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰਣਹਾਰੁ ॥

naanak har jee meaa kar sabad savaaranahaar |

O Nanak, when the Dear Lord shows kindness, He adorns His bride with the Word of His Shabad.

ਸਾਵਣੁ ਤਿਨਾ ਸੁਹਾਗਣੀ ਜਿਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਰਿ ਹਾਰੁ ॥੬॥

saavan tinaa suhaaganee jin raam naam ur haar |6|

Saawan is delightful for those happy soul-brides whose hearts are adorned with the Necklace of the Lord's Name. ||6||

ਭਾਦੁਇ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਣੀਆ ਦੂਜੈ ਲਗਾ ਹੇਤੁ ॥

bhaadue bharam bhulaaneea doojai lagaa het |

In the month of Bhaadon, she is deluded by doubt, because of her attachment to duality.

ਲਖ ਸੀਗਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਕਾਰਜਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੇਤੁ ॥

lakh seegaar banaaeaa kaaraj naahee ket |

She may wear thousands of ornaments, but they are of no use at all.

ਜਿਤੁ ਦਿਨਿ ਦੇਹ ਬਿਨਸਸੀ ਤਿਤੁ ਵੇਲੈ ਕਹਸਨਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਤੁ ॥

jit din deh binasasee tith velai kahasan pret |

On that day when the body perishes-at that time, she becomes a ghost.

ਪਕੜਿ ਚਲਾਇਨਿ ਦੂਤ ਜਮ ਕਿਸੈ ਨ ਦੇਨੀ ਭੇਤੁ ॥

pakarr chalaaein doot jam kisai na denee bhet |

The Messenger of Death seizes and holds her, and does not tell anyone his secret.

ਛਡਿ ਖੜੋਤੇ ਖਿਨੈ ਮਾਹਿ ਜਿਨ ਸਿਉ ਲਗਾ ਹੇਤੁ ॥

chhadd kharrote khinai maeh jin siau lagaa het |

And her loved ones-in an instant, they move on, leaving her all alone.

ਹਥ ਮਰੋੜੈ ਤਨੁ ਕਪੇ ਸਿਆਹਹੁ ਹੋਆ ਸੇਤੁ ॥

hath marorrai tan kape siaahahu hoaa set |

She wrings her hands, her body writhes in pain, and she turns from black to white.

ਜੇਹਾ ਬੀਜੈ ਸੋ ਲੁਣੈ ਕਰਮਾ ਸੰਦੜਾ ਖੇਤੁ ॥

jehaa beejai so lunai karamaa sandarraa khet |

As she has planted, so does she harvest; such is the field of karma.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਚਰਣ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੇਤੁ ॥

naanak prabh saranaagatee charan bohith prabh det |

Nanak seeks God's Sanctuary; God has given him the Boat of His Feet.

ਸੇ ਭਾਦੁਇ ਨਰਕਿ ਨ ਪਾਈਅਹਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਰਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੇਤੁ ॥੭॥

se bhaadue narak na paaeeeh gur rakhan vaalaa het |7|

Those who love the Guru, the Protector and Savior, in Bhaadon, shall not be thrown down into hell. ||7||

ਅਸੁਨਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਉਮਾਹੜਾ ਕਿਉ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਇ ॥

asun prem umaaharraa kiau mileeai har jaae |

In the month of Assu, my love for the Lord overwhelms me. How can I go and meet the Lord?

ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਪਿਆਸ ਦਰਸਨ ਘਣੀ ਕੋਈ ਆਣਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਮਾਇ ॥

man tan piaas darasan ghanee koee aan milaavai maae |

My mind and body are so thirsty for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. Won't someone please come and lead me to him, O my mother.

ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੇ ਹਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਲਾਗਾ ਪਾਇ ॥

sant sahaaee prem ke hau tin kai laagaa paae |

The Saints are the helpers of the Lord's lovers; I fall and touch their feet.

ਵਿਣੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਉ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥

vin prabh kiau sukh paaeeai doojee naahee jaae |

Without God, how can I find peace? There is nowhere else to go.

ਜਿੰਨੑੀ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰਸੁ ਸੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਰਹੇ ਆਘਾਇ ॥

jinaee chaakhiaa prem ras se tripat rahe aaghaae |

Those who have tasted the sublime essence of His Love, remain satisfied and fulfilled.

ਆਪੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਬਿਨਤੀ ਕਰਹਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਇ ॥

aap tiaag binatee kareh lehu prabhoo larr laae |

They renounce their selfishness and conceit, and they pray, "God, please attach me to the hem of Your robe."

ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਕੰਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਈਆ ਸਿ ਵਿਛੁੜਿ ਕਤਹਿ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥

jo har kant milaaeea si vichhurr kateh na jaae |

Those whom the Husband Lord has united with Himself, shall not be separated from Him again.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਵਿਣੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥

prabh vin doojaa ko nahee naanak har saranaae |

Without God, there is no other at all. Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of the Lord.

ਅਸੂ ਸੁਖੀ ਵਸੰਦੀਆ ਜਿਨਾ ਮਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥੮॥

asoo sukhee vasandeea jinaa meaa har raae |8|

In Assu, the Lord, the Sovereign King, has granted His Mercy, and they dwell in peace. ||8||

NARRAJ STNZA BY THY GRACE

ਚਕੰਤ ਚਾਰ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਕਾ ॥

chakant chaar chandrakaa |

Thy winsome luster astonishes the moonlight

ਸੁਭੰਤ ਰਾਜ ਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ॥

subhant raaj su prabhaa |

Thy royal Glory looks splendid.

ਦਵੰਤ ਦੁਸਟ ਮੰਡਲੀ ॥

davant dusatt manddalee |

The clique of tyrants is suppressed

ਸੁਭੰਤ ਰਾਜ ਸੁ ਥਲੀ ॥੧॥੭੯॥

subhant raaj su thalee |1|79|

Such is the glamour of Thy metropolis (world).1.79.

ਚਲੰਤ ਚੰਡ ਮੰਡਕਾ ॥

chalant chandd manddakaa |

Moving like Chandika (Goddess) in the battlefield

ਅਖੰਡ ਖੰਡ ਦੁਪਲਾ ॥

akhandd khandd dupalaa |

Thou destroyest in an instant seemingly imperishable warriors.

ਖਿਵੰਤ ਬਿਜੁ ਜ੍ਵਾਲਕਾ ॥

khivant bij jvaalakaa |

Thou movest like the fire of lightning

ਅਨੰਤ ਗਦਿ ਬਿਦਸਾ ॥੨॥੮੦॥

anant gad bidasaa |2|80|

O Infinite Lord! Thy Thorne is visualized in all directions.2.80.

ਲਸੰਤ ਭਾਵ ਉਜਲੰ ॥

lasant bhaav ujalan |

Thy Pure emotions gleam

ਦਲੰਤ ਦੁਖ ਦੁ ਦਲੰ ॥

dalant dukh du dalan |

And destroy the forces of suffering.

ਪਵੰਗ ਪਾਤ ਸੋਹੀਯੰ ॥

pavang paat soheeyan |

The row of Thy horses looks graceful

ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ਬਾਜ ਲੋਹੀਯੰ ॥੩॥੮੧॥

samundr baaj loheeyan |3|81|

Seeing which the horse of the Ocean gets angry.3.81.

ਨਿਨੰਦ ਗੇਦ ਬ੍ਰਿਦਯੰ ॥

ninand ged bridayan |

Thou art radiant like the great ball of the Sun

ਅਖੇਦ ਨਾਦ ਦੁਧਰੰ ॥

akhed naad dudharan |

Beyond the tunes of worldly joys.

ਅਠਟ ਬਟ ਬਟਕੰ ॥

atthatt batt battakan |

Thou art everlasting like the Bunyan-seed

ਅਘਟ ਅਨਟ ਸੁਖਲੰ ॥੪॥੮੨॥

aghatt anatt sukhalan |4|82|

And art Blissful ever perfectly.4.82.

ਅਖੁਟ ਤੁਟ ਦ੍ਰਿਬਕੰ ॥

akhutt tutt dribakan |

The Treasure of Thy wealth is inexhaustible

ਅਜੁਟ ਛੁਟ ਸੁਛਕੰ ॥

ajutt chhutt suchhakan |

O Immaculate Lord! Thou art not united with anyone.

ਅਘੁਟ ਤੁਟ ਆਸਨੰ ॥

aghutt tutt aasanan |

Thy seat is eternal

ਅਲੇਖ ਅਭੇਖ ਅਨਾਸਨੰ ॥੫॥੮੩॥

alekh abhekh anaasanan |5|83|

Thou art accountless, guiseless and Imperishable.5.83.

ਸੁਭੰਤ ਦੰਤ ਪਦੁਕੰ ॥

subhant dant padukan |

The row of thy teeth looks graceful

ਜਲੰਤ ਸਾਮ ਸੁ ਘਟੰ ॥

jalant saam su ghattan |

Seeing which the dark clouds feel jealous.

ਸੁਭੰਤ ਛੁਦ੍ਰ ਘੰਟਕਾ ॥

subhant chhudr ghanttakaa |

The small bells look elegant in the string round Thy waist

ਜਲੰਤ ਭਾਰ ਕਛਟਾ ॥੬॥੮੪॥

jalant bhaar kachhattaa |6|84|

Seeing Thy effulgence the splendour of the Sun feels jealous.6.84.

ਸਿਰੀਸੁ ਸੀਸ ਸੁਭੀਯੰ ॥

sirees sees subheeyan |

The crest on Thy head seems splendid

ਘਟਾਕ ਬਾਨ ਉਭੀਯੰ ॥

ghattaak baan ubheeyan |

Like the shaft high up in the clouds.

ਸੁਭੰਤ ਸੀਸ ਸਿਧਰੰ ॥

subhant sees sidharan |

The Crown on Thy head looks elegant

ਜਲੰਤ ਸਿਧਰੀ ਨਰੰ ॥੭॥੮੫॥

jalant sidharee naran |7|85|

Seeing which the moon feels shy.7.85.

ਚਲੰਤ ਦੰਤ ਪਤਕੰ ॥

chalant dant patakan |

The rows of demons are moving

ਭਜੰਤ ਦੇਖਿ ਦੁਦਲੰ ॥

bhajant dekh dudalan |

And both the armies are running.

ਤਜੰਤ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਕੰ ॥

tajant sasatr asatrakan |

When Thou usest Thy arms and weapons

ਚਲੰਤ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਚਉਦਿਸੰ ॥੮॥੮੬॥

chalant chakr chaudisan |8|86|

And Thy disc moves in all the four directions.8.86.

ਅਗੰਮ ਤੇਜ ਸੋਭੀਯੰ ॥

agam tej sobheeyan |

Thy Inaccesible Glory looks elegant

ਰਿਖੀਸ ਈਸ ਲੋਭੀਯੰ ॥

rikhees ees lobheeyan |

Therefore the great sages and Shiva are covetous to have Thy Sight.

ਅਨੇਕ ਬਾਰ ਧਿਆਵਹੀ ॥

anek baar dhiaavahee |

They remember Thy Name many times

ਨ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਪਾਰ ਪਾਵਹੀ ॥੯॥੮੭॥

n tatr paar paavahee |9|87|

Even then they have not been able go know Thy limits.9.87.

ਅਧੋ ਸੁ ਧੂਮ ਧੂਮਹੀ ॥

adho su dhoom dhoomahee |

Many with faces upside down light the fire

ਅਘੂਰ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਘੂਮਹੀ ॥

aghoor netr ghoomahee |

Many ascetics roam forsaking their sleep.

ਸੁ ਪੰਚ ਅਗਨ ਸਾਧੀਯੰ ॥

su panch agan saadheeyan |

Many perform austerity of five fires

ਨ ਤਾਮ ਪਾਰ ਲਾਧੀਯੰ ॥੧੦॥੮੮॥

n taam paar laadheeyan |10|88|

Even they have not been able to know thy limits.10.88.

ਨਿਵਲ ਆਦਿ ਕਰਮਣੰ ॥

nival aad karamanan |

The performance of Neoli Karma (cleansing of intestines): the innumerable religious acts of giving charities

ਅਨੰਤ ਦਾਨ ਧਰਮਣੰ ॥

anant daan dharamanan |

ਅਨੰਤ ਤੀਰਥ ਬਾਸਨੰ ॥

anant teerath baasanan |

Abiding at pilgrim-stations for numberless times

ਨ ਏਕ ਨਾਮ ਕੇ ਸਮੰ ॥੧੧॥੮੯॥

n ek naam ke saman |11|89|

All these acts do not equal do not equal the merit of the remembrance of the Name of One Lord.11.89.

ਅਨੰਤ ਜਗ︀ਯ ਕਰਮਣੰ ॥

anant jagay karamanan |

The performance of innumerable acts of sacrifices

ਗਜਾਦਿ ਆਦਿ ਧਰਮਣੰ ॥

gajaad aad dharamanan |

The performance of the religious act of giving elephants etc. in charity

ਅਨੇਕ ਦੇਸ ਭਰਮਣੰ ॥

anek des bharamanan |

Wandering in many countries

ਨ ਏਕ ਨਾਮ ਕੇ ਸਮੰ ॥੧੨॥੯੦॥

n ek naam ke saman |12|90|

All these acts do not equal the merit of the remembrance of the Name of One Lord.12.90.

ਇਕੰਤ ਕੁੰਟ ਬਾਸਨੰ ॥

eikant kuntt baasanan |

Dwelling in solitary confinement

ਭ੍ਰਮੰਤ ਕੋਟਕੰ ਬਨੰ ॥

bhramant kottakan banan |

Wandering in millions of forests

ਉਚਾਟਨਾਦ ਕਰਮਣੰ ॥

auchaattanaad karamanan |

Becoming unattached many recite mantras

ਅਨੇਕ ਉਦਾਸ ਭਰਮਣੰ ॥੧੩॥੯੧॥

anek udaas bharamanan |13|91|

Many roam like hermits.13.91.

ਅਨੇਕ ਭੇਖ ਆਸਨੰ ॥

anek bhekh aasanan |

Many move in various guises and adopt several postures

ਕਰੋਰ ਕੋਟਕੰ ਬ੍ਰਤੰ ॥

karor kottakan bratan |

He may perform many types of sacrifices and actions.

ਸਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਆਦਿ ਧਰਮਣੰ ॥

sanayaas aad dharamanan |

One may adopt the religious garb of mendicant

ਉਦਾਸ ਨਾਮ ਕਰਮਣੰ ॥੧੫॥੯੩॥

audaas naam karamanan |15|93|

He may perform many rituals of a hermit. 15.93.

ਅਨੇਕ ਪਾਠ ਪਾਠਨੰ ॥

One may read the religious texts continuously

ਅਨੰਤ ਠਾਟ ਠਾਟਨੰ ॥

ਨ ਏਕ ਨਾਮ ਕੇ ਸਮੰ ॥

None of them equals the Name of One Lord

ਸਮਸਤ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟ ਕੇ ਭ੍ਰਮੰ ॥੧੬॥੯੪॥

samasat srisatt ke bhraman |16|94|

They are all an illusion like the world.16.94.

ਜਗਾਦਿ ਆਦਿ ਧਰਮਣੰ ॥

jagaad aad dharamanan |

One may perform the religious acts of the ancient ages

ਬੈਰਾਗ ਆਦਿ ਕਰਮਣੰ ॥

bairaag aad karamanan |

He may perform the ascetic and monastic works.

ਦਯਾਦਿ ਆਦਿ ਕਾਮਣੰ ॥

dayaad aad kaamanan |

He may perform the works of mercy etc., and magic

ਅਨਾਦ ਸੰਜਮੰ ਬ੍ਰਿਦੰ ॥੧੭॥੯੫॥

anaad sanjaman bridan |17|95|

They are all wworks of great restraint, prevalent from times immemorial.17.95.

ਅਨੇਕ ਦੇਸ ਭਰਮਣੰ ॥

One may wander in many countries

ਕਰੋਰ ਦਾਨ ਸੰਜਮੰ ॥

He may adopt the discipline of giving million of charities.

ਅਨੇਕ ਗੀਤ ਗਿਆਨਨੰ ॥

Many songs of knowledge are sung

ਅਨੰਤ ਗਿਆਨ ਧਿਆਨਨੰ ॥੧੮॥੯੬॥

He may be proficient in innumerable types of knowledge and contemplation.18.96.

ਅਨੰਤ ਗਿਆਨ ਸੁਤਮੰ ॥

Those who are superb by achieving millions of types of knowledge

ਅਨੇਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੁ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੰ ॥

anek krit su britan |

They are also observing many good actions.

ਬਿਆਸ ਨਾਰਦ ਆਦਕੰ ॥

biaas naarad aadakan |

Like Vyas, Narad etc.,

ਸੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਮਰਮ ਨਹਿ ਲਹੰ ॥੧੯॥੯੭॥

su braham maram neh lahan |19|97|

they even have not been able to know the secret of a Brahman.19.97.

ਕਰੋਰ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਣੰ ॥

karor jantr mantranan |

Though millions of yantras and mantras may be practiced

ਅਨੰਤ ਤੰਤ੍ਰਣੰ ਬਣੰ ॥

anant tantranan banan |

And innumerable Tantras may be made.

ਬਸੇਖ ਬ︀ਯਾਸ ਨਾਸਨੰ ॥

basekh bayaas naasanan |

One may even sit on the seat of Vyas

ਅਨੰਤ ਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਨੰ ॥੨੦॥੯੮॥

anant nayaas praasanan |20|98|

And forsake many types of food.20.98.

ਜਪੰਤ ਦੇਵ ਦੈਤਨੰ ॥

japant dev daitanan |

All the gods and demons remember Him

ਥਪੰਤ ਜਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬੰ ॥

thapant jachh gandhraban |

All the Yakshas and Gandharvas worship Him.

ਬਦੰਤ ਬਿਦਣੋਧਰੰ ॥

badant bidanodharan |

The Visyadhars sing His Prises

ਗਣੰਤ ਸੇਸ ਉਰਗਣੰ ॥੨੧॥੯੯॥

The reamaing categories including Nagas remember His Name.21.99.

ਜਪੰਤ ਪਾਰਵਾਰਯੰ ॥

He hath put the seven oceans at their places.

ਜਣੰਤ ਚਾਰ ਚਕ੍ਰਣੰ ॥

janant chaar chakranan |

He is known in all the four directions

ਧ੍ਰਮੰਤ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਬਕ੍ਰਣੰ ॥੨੨॥੧੦੦॥

dhramant chakr bakranan |22|100|

The wheel of His Discipline keeps moving.22.100.

ਜਪੰਤ ਪੰਨਗੰ ਨਕੰ ॥

He is remembered by serpents and octopus

ਬਰੰ ਨਰੰ ਬਨਸਪਤੰ ॥

The vegetation narrates His Praises.

ਅਕਾਸ ਉਰਬੀਅੰ ਜਲੰ ॥

The beings of sky, earth and water remember Him

ਜਪੰਤ ਜੀਵ ਜਲ ਥਲੰ ॥੨੩॥੧੦੧॥

The beings in water and on land repeat His Name.23.101.

ਸੋ ਕੋਟ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਬਕਤ੍ਰਣੰ ॥

Millions of four-headed Brahmas

ਬਦੰਤ ਬੇਦ ਚਤ੍ਰਕੰ ॥

Recite the four Vedas.

ਅਸੰਭ ਅਸੰਭ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥

asanbh asanbh maaneeai |

Millions of Shiva worship that Wonderful Entity

ਕਰੋਰ ਬਿਸਨ ਠਾਨੀਐ ॥੨੪॥੧੦੨॥

karor bisan tthaaneeai |24|102|

Millions of Vishnus adore Him.24.102.

ਅਨੰਤ ਸੁਰਸੁਤੀ ਸਤੀ ॥

anant surasutee satee |

Innumerable Sarswatis goddess and Satis (Parvati-goddess)

ਬਦੰਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਈਸੁਰੀ ॥

badant krit eesuree |

And Lakshmis goddess and Satis (Parvati-goddess) and Lakshmis goddess sing His Praises.

ਅਨੰਤ ਅਨੰਤ ਭਾਖੀਐ ॥

anant anant bhaakheeai |

Innumerable Sheshanaga eulogize Him

ਅਨੰਤ ਅੰਤ ਲਾਖੀਐ ॥੨੫॥੧੦੩॥

anant ant laakheeai |25|103|

That Lord is comprehended as infinite ultimeately.25.103.
