ਤੂ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਜਗਦੀਸੁ ਸਭ ਕਰਤਾ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨਾਥੁ ॥
too jagajeevan jagadees sabh karataa srisatt naath |
You are the Life of the World, the Lord of the Universe, our Lord and Master, the Creator of all the Universe.
ਤਿਨ ਤੂ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਮੁ ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਧੁਰਿ ਲੇਖੁ ਮਾਥੁ ॥
tin too dhiaaeaa meraa raam jin kai dhur lekh maath |
They alone meditate on You, O my Lord, who have such destiny recorded on their foreheads.
ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਧੁਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਰਾਧਿਆ ॥
jin kau dhur har likhiaa suaamee tin har har naam araadhiaa |
Those who are so pre-destined by their Lord and Master, worship and adore the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਪਾਪ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਸਭਿ ਲਾਥੇ ਜਿਨ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪਿਆ ॥
tin ke paap ik nimakh sabh laathe jin gur bachanee har jaapiaa |
All sins are erased in an instant, for those who meditate on the Lord, through the Guru's Teachings.
ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਤੇ ਜਨ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਦੇਖੇ ਹਉ ਭਇਆ ਸਨਾਥੁ ॥
dhan dhan te jan jin har naam japiaa tin dekhe hau bheaa sanaath |
Blessed, blessed are those humble beings who meditate on the Lord's Name. Seeing them, I am uplifted.
ਤੂ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਜਗਦੀਸੁ ਸਭ ਕਰਤਾ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨਾਥੁ ॥੧॥

You are the Life of the World, the Lord of the Universe, our Lord and Master, the Creator of all the Universe. ||1||
ਤੂ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ਸਭ ਊਪਰਿ ਸਾਚੁ ਧਣੀ ॥
too jal thal maheeal bharapoor sabh aoopar saach dhanee |
You are totally pervading the water, the land and the sky. O True Lord, You are the Master of all.
ਜਿਨ ਜਪਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਚੀਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਘਣੀ ॥
jin japiaa har man cheet har jap jap mukat ghanee |
Those who meditate on the Lord in their conscious minds - all those who chant and meditate on the Lord are liberated.
ਜਿਨ ਜਪਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਤੇ ਮੁਕਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਊਜਲ ਮੁਖ ਹਰਿ ਦੁਆਰਿ ॥
jin japiaa har te mukat praanee tin ke aoojal mukh har duaar |
Those mortal beings who meditate on the Lord are liberated; their faces are radiant in the Court of the Lord.
ਓਇ ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਜਨ ਭਏ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਏ ਰਖਨਹਾਰਿ ॥
oe halat palat jan bhe suhele har raakh lee rakhanahaar |
Those humble beings are exalted in this world and the next; the Savior Lord saves them.
ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਜਨ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਫਲ ਬਣੀ ॥
har santasangat jan sunahu bhaaee guramukh har sevaa safal banee |
Listen to the Lord's Name in the Society of the Saints, O humble Siblings of Destiny. The Gurmukh's service to the Lord is fruitful.
ਤੂ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ਸਭ ਊਪਰਿ ਸਾਚੁ ਧਣੀ ॥੨॥

You are totally pervading the water, the land and the sky. O True Lord, You are the Master of all. ||2||
ਤੂ ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਏਕੁ ਰਵਿਆ ॥

You are the One Lord, the One and Only Lord, pervading all places and interspaces.
ਵਣਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਿ ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਵਿਆ ॥
van trin tribhavan sabh srisatt mukh har har naam chaviaa |
The forests and fields, the three worlds and the entire Universe, chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਸਭਿ ਚਵਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਅਸੰਖ ਅਗਣਤ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਏ ॥
sabh chaveh har har naam karate asankh aganat har dhiaave |
All chant the Name of the Creator Lord, Har, Har; countless, uncountable beings meditate on the Lord.
ਸੋ ਧੰਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਤੇ ਭਾਵਏ ॥
so dhan dhan har sant saadhoo jo har prabh karate bhaave |
Blessed, blessed are those Saints and Holy People of the Lord, who are pleasing to the Creator Lord God.
ਸੋ ਸਫਲੁ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਦ ਚਵਿਆ ॥
so safal darasan dehu karate jis har hiradai naam sad chaviaa |
O Creator, please bless me with the Fruitful Vision, the Darshan, of those who chant the Lord's Name in their hearts forever.
ਤੂ ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਏਕੁ ਰਵਿਆ ॥੩॥

ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਅਸੰਖ ਜਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਦੇਵਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਿਲਹਿ ॥
teree bhagat bhanddaar asankh jis too deveh mere suaamee tis mileh |
The treasures of devotional worship to You are countless; he alone is blessed with them, O my Lord and Master, whom You bless.
ਜਿਸ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਗੁਰ ਹਾਥੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਟਿਕਹਿ ॥
jis kai masatak gur haath tis hiradai har gun ttikeh |
The Lord's Glorious Virtues abide within the heart of that person, whose forehead the Guru has touched.
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਟਿਕਹਿ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਭਉ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਹੋਈ ॥
har gun hiradai ttikeh tis kai jis antar bhau bhaavanee hoee |
The Glorious Virtues of the Lord dwell in the heart of that person, whose inner being is filled with the Fear of God, and His Love.
ਬਿਨੁ ਭੈ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਬਿਨੁ ਭੈ ਪਾਰਿ ਨ ਉਤਰਿਆ ਕੋਈ ॥
bin bhai kinai na prem paaeaa bin bhai paar na utariaa koee |
Without the Fear of God, His Love is not obtained. Without the Fear of God, no one is carried across to the other side.
ਭਉ ਭਾਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਲਾਗੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਹਿ ॥
bhau bhaau preet naanak tiseh laagai jis too aapanee kirapaa kareh |
O Nanak, he alone is blessed with the Fear of God, and God's Love and Affection, whom You, Lord, bless with Your Mercy.
ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਅਸੰਖ ਜਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਦੇਵਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਿਲਹਿ ॥੪॥੩॥

ਅਵਰੈ ਦੇਸ ਪਯਾਨੋ ਕੀਜੈ ॥੬॥

ਦ੍ਵੈ ਬਾਜਨ ਆਰੂੜਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈਹੈਂ ॥
dvai baajan aaroorrit hvaihain |
ਪਿਤੁ ਕੋ ਸਕਲ ਖਜਾਨ ਲੈਹੈਂ ॥
pit ko sakal khajaan laihain |
ਮਨ ਭਾਵਤ ਤੋ ਸੌ ਰਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਹੌ ॥
man bhaavat to sau rat kar hau |
ਸਕਲ ਦ੍ਰਪ ਕੰਦ੍ਰਪ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਹੌ ॥੭॥
sakal drap kandrap ke har hau |7|
ਭਲੀ ਭਲੀ ਤਬ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਖਾਨ︀ਯੋ ॥
bhalee bhalee tab taeh bakhaanayo |
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਬਚਨ ਸਤ︀ਯ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨ︀ਯੋ ॥
taa ko bachan satay kar maanayo |
ਪਿਤੁ ਕੋ ਲੇਤ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਭਈ ॥
pit ko let khajaanaa bhee |
ਚਾਦਾ ਛੋਰਿ ਦਛਿਨਹਿ ਗਈ ॥੮॥
chaadaa chhor dachhineh gee |8|
ਲੇਖਤ ਇਹੈ ਭਵਨ ਮੈ ਭਈ ॥
lekhat ihai bhavan mai bhee |
ਹੌ ਤੀਰਥ ਨ੍ਰਹੈਬੇ ਕੋ ਗਈ ॥
hau teerath nrahaibe ko gee |
ਮਿਲਿਹੋਂ ਤੁਮੈ ਜਿਯਤ ਜੌ ਆਈ ॥
milihon tumai jiyat jau aaee |
ਜੌ ਮਰਿ ਗਈ ਤ ਰਾਮ ਸਹਾਈ ॥੯॥
jau mar gee ta raam sahaaee |9|
ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੋ ਸਕਲ ਦਰਬੁ ਸੰਗ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
grih ko sakal darab sang lai kai |
ਉਧਰਿ ਚਲੀ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਹਿਤ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
audhar chalee taa sau hit kai kai |
ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਰਤਿ ਕਰੈ ॥
lapatt lapatt taa sau rat karai |
ਦ੍ਰਪ ਕੰਦ੍ਰਪ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਹਰੈ ॥੧੦॥

ਬੀਤਤ ਬਰਖ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਬ ਭਏ ॥
beetat barakh bahut jab bhe |
ਸਭ ਹੀ ਖਾਇ ਖਜਾਨੋ ਗਏ ॥
sabh hee khaae khajaano ge |
ਭੂਖੀ ਮਰਨ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਜਬ ਲਾਗੀ ॥
bhookhee maran tarun jab laagee |
ਤਬ ਹੀ ਛੋਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਹਿ ਭਾਗੀ ॥੧੧॥

ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੇ ਪਗਨ ਰਹੀ ਲਪਟਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
maat pitaa ke pagan rahee lapattaae kai |
ਮੈ ਜੁ ਤੀਰਥਨ ਧਰਮ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਸੋ ਲੀਜਿਯੈ ॥
mai ju teerathan dharam kariyo so leejiyai |
ਹੋ ਅਰਧ ਪੁੰਨ︀ਯ ਦੈ ਮੋਹਿ ਅਸੀਸਾ ਦੀਜਿਯੈ ॥੧੨॥
ho aradh punay dai mohi aseesaa deejiyai |12|
ਸੁਨਿ ਸੁਨਿ ਐਸੇ ਬਚਨ ਰੀਝਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥
sun sun aise bachan reejh raajaa rahiyo |
ਧੰਨ︀ਯ ਧੰਨ︀ਯ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਕੋ ਨਾਰਿ ਸਹਿਤ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥
dhanay dhanay duhitaa ko naar sahit kahiyo |
ਤੀਰਥ ਸਕਲ ਅਨ੍ਰਹਾਇ ਮਿਲੀ ਮੁਹਿ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥
teerath sakal anrahaae milee muhi aae kai |
ਹੋ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਪਾਪਨ ਦਯੋ ਮਿਟਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੧੩॥

ਜਬ ਸੰਭਾ ਤਿਹ ਰੂਪ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
jab sanbhaa tih roop nihaariyo |
ਇਹੈ ਆਪਨੇ ਚਿਤ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
eihai aapane chit bichaariyo |
ਯਾ ਕੌ ਭਲੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਗਹਿ ਤੋਰੋ ॥
yaa kau bhalee bhaat geh toro |
ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਨੀ ਹਮ ਨ ਕਛੁ ਛੋਰੋ ॥੩॥
braahamanee ham na kachh chhoro |3|
ਏਕ ਸਹਿਚਰੀ ਤਹਾ ਪਠਾਈ ॥

aaj nripat ke sadan sidhaaro |
ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਬਿਹਾਰੋ ॥੪॥

ਤਰੁਨਿ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਯੌ ਕਹੀ ॥
tarun kuar man mai yau kahee |
ਹਮਰੀ ਬਾਤ ਧਰਮ ਕੀ ਰਹੀ ॥
hamaree baat dharam kee rahee |
ਹਾ ਭਾਖੌ ਤੌ ਧਰਮ ਗਵਾਊਾਂ ॥
haa bhaakhau tau dharam gavaaooaan |
ਨਾਹਿ ਕਰੇ ਬਾਧੀ ਘਰ ਜਾਊਾਂ ॥੫॥

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਜਤਨ ਐਸ ਕਛੁ ਕਰਿਯੈ ॥
taa te jatan ais kachh kariyai |
ਧਰਮ ਰਾਖਿ ਮੂਰਖ ਕਹ ਮਰਿਯੈ ॥
dharam raakh moorakh keh mariyai |
ਨਾਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਸੁਨਿ ਲੈਹੈ ॥

ਖਾਟਿ ਉਠਾਇ ਮੰਗਾਇ ਪਠੈਹੈ ॥੬॥

ਤਬ ਤਿਨ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਬਚਨ ਸਹਚਰਿ ਸੁਨਿ ॥
tab tin kahiyo bachan sahachar sun |
ਪੂਜਨ ਕਾਲਿ ਜਾਊਗੀ ਮੈ ਮੁਨਿ ॥
poojan kaal jaaoogee mai mun |
ਤਹ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਤੁਮ ਐਯਹੁ ॥
teh hee aap nripat tum aiyahu |
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਮੁਹਿ ਸਾਥ ਕਮੈਯਹੁ ॥੭॥
kaam bhog muhi saath kamaiyahu |7|
ਭੋਰ ਭਯੋ ਪੂਜਨ ਸਿਵ ਗਈ ॥
bhor bhayo poojan siv gee |
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਹੂੰ ਤਹਾ ਬੁਲਾਵਤ ਭਈ ॥
nripahoon tahaa bulaavat bhee |
ਉਤੈ ਦੁਸਮਨਨ ਦੂਤ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥
autai dusamanan doot patthaayo |
ਸੰਭਹਿ ਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸ੍ਵਾਨ ਕੀ ਘਾਯੋ ॥੮॥

ਜਬ ਹੀ ਫੌਜ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਕੀ ਧਈ ॥

ਅਬਲਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਗਹਿ ਲਈ ॥
abalaa sahit nripat geh lee |
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਰੂਪ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਲਲਚਾਯੋ ॥
nirakh roop taa ko lalachaayo |
ਭੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਚਿਤ ਭਾਯੋ ॥੯॥
