ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਕਲਾ ਭਜਿ ਦਈ ਉਠਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

sree asamaan kalaa bhaj dee utthaae kai |

Sri Asman Kala got up and went away,

ਰੁਕਮ ਕੇਤੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਐਸੋ ਚਰਿਤ ਦਿਖਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

rukam ket nrip aiso charit dikhaae kai |

When the Raja depicted such duplicity.

ਮੂਰਖ ਰਾਨੀ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਨ ਕਛੁ ਜਾਨਤ ਭਈ ॥

moorakh raanee dutiy na kachh jaanat bhee |

The other Rani did not perceive the situation,

ਹੋ ਲੁਕ ਮੀਚਨ ਕੀ ਖੇਲ ਜਾਨ ਜਿਯ ਮੈ ਲਈ ॥੭॥

ho luk meechan kee khel jaan jiy mai lee |7|

And just kept herself busy in hide-and-seek.(7)
