ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀਯ ਬਾਚ ॥

Speech of the minister :

ਲਛ ਜਉ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮਾਰੀਯੈ ਤਬ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮੇਧ ॥

lachh jau nrip maareeyai tab hot hai nrip medh |

ਏਕ ਏਕ ਅਨੇਕ ਸੰਪਤਿ ਦੀਜੀਯੈ ਭਵਿਖੇਧ ॥

ek ek anek sanpat deejeeyai bhavikhedh |

“If one lakh are killed, then the Rajmedh Yajna can be performed and to each Brahmin innumerable wealth,

ਲਛ ਲਛ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਏਕਹਿ ਦੀਜੀਐ ਅਬਿਚਾਰ ॥

lachh lachh turang ekeh deejeeai abichaar |

And one lakh horses are to be given immediately

ਜਗ ਪੂਰਣ ਹੋਤੁ ਹੈ ਸੁਨ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜ ਵਤਾਰ ॥੧੨੪॥

jag pooran hot hai sun raaj raaj vataar |124|

In this way, O king! the Yajna can be completed.124.

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੁਮ੍ਰਿਧ ਸੰਪਤਿ ਦੀਜੀਯੈ ਇਕ ਬਾਰ ॥

bhaat bhaat sumridh sanpat deejeeyai ik baar |

ਲਛ ਹਸਤ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਲਛ ਸੁਵਰਨ ਭਾਰ ਅਪਾਰ ॥

lachh hasat turang dvai lachh suvaran bhaar apaar |

“Many types of gifts of wealth and property and one lakh elephants and two lakh horses and one lakh gold coins are to be given to each of the Brahmin :

ਕੋਟਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਦਿਜੇਕ ਏਕਹਿ ਦੀਜੀਯੈ ਅਬਿਲੰਬ ॥

kott kott dijek ekeh deejeeyai abilanb |

ਜਗ ਪੂਰਣ ਹੋਇ ਤਉ ਸੁਨ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜ ਅਸੰਭ ॥੧੨੫॥

jag pooran hoe tau sun raaj raaj asanbh |125|

“O king! by donating these to crores of Brahmins, this impossible Yajna can be completed.125.
