ਹਰਿ ਆਵਤ ਅਗ੍ਰ ਮਿਲੀ ਕੁਬਿਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਤਿਨਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

At the time of coming, Krishna met Kubja standing in front
ਗੰਧ ਲਏ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਲਾਵਨ ਕੋ ਸੁ ਲਗਾਊ ਹਉ ਯਾ ਮਨ ਬੀਚ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
gandh le nrip laavan ko su lagaaoo hau yaa man beech bichaariyo |
Kubja saw Krishna’s charming form, she was taking away the balm for the king, she thought in her mind that it would be very good if she gets an opportunity for applying that balm on the body of K
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਖੀ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗ ਲਗੀ ਹਮਰੇ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
preet lakhee har sang lagee hamare tab hee ih bhaat uchaariyo |
When Krishna visualised her love, he said himself, “Bring it and apply it to me
ਲ︀ਯਾਵਹੁ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਰੀ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਕਬਿ ਨੈ ਜਸੁ ਤਾ ਛਬਿ ਕੋ ਇਮ ਸਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੮੨੮॥
layaavahu laavahu ree ham ko kab nai jas taa chhab ko im saariyo |828|
’ The poet has described that spectacle.828.
ਜਦੁਰਾਇ ਕੋ ਆਇਸੁ ਮਾਨ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੋ ਇਹ ਚੰਦਨ ਦੇਹ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥
jaduraae ko aaeis maan treeyaa nrip ko ih chandan deh lagaayo |
Obeying the words of the king of Yadavas, that woman applied that balm on his body
ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕੋ ਰੂਪੁ ਨਿਹਾਰਤ ਹੀ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਮਨੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
sayaam ko roop nihaarat hee kab sayaam manai at hee sukh paayo |
Seeing the beauty of Krishna, the poet Shyam has attained extreme happiness
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਨ ਅੰਤ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਈ ਦਿਨ ਗਾਯੋ ॥
jaa ko na ant lakhiyo brahamaa kar kai man prem kee din gaayo |
He is the same Lord, even Brahma eulogizing him could not know his mystery
ਭਾਗ ਬਡੋ ਇਹ ਮਾਲਿਨ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਤਨ ਕੋ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਾਥ ਛੁਹਾਯੋ ॥੮੨੯॥
bhaag baddo ih maalin ke har ke tan ko jin haath chhuhaayo |829|
This servant is very fortunate, who has touched the body of Krishna with her own hands.829.
ਹਰਿ ਏਕ ਧਰਿਯੋ ਪਗ ਪਾਇਨ ਪੈ ਅਰੁ ਹਾਥ ਸੋ ਹਾਥ ਗਹਿਯੋ ਕੁਬਜਾ ਕੋ ॥
har ek dhariyo pag paaein pai ar haath so haath gahiyo kubajaa ko |
Krishna put his foot on the foot of Kubja and caught her hand in his hand
ਸੀਧੀ ਕਰੀ ਕੁਬਰੀ ਤੇ ਸੋਊ ਇਤਨੋ ਬਲੁ ਹੈ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਕਹੁ ਕਾ ਕੋ ॥
seedhee karee kubaree te soaoo itano bal hai jag mai kahu kaa ko |
He straightened that hump-backed and the power of doing this is not with any other in the world
ਜਾਹਿ ਮਰਿਯੋ ਬਕ ਬੀਰ ਅਬੈ ਕਰਿ ਹੈ ਬਧ ਸੋ ਪਤਿ ਪੈ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਕੋ ॥
jaeh mariyo bak beer abai kar hai badh so pat pai mathuraa ko |
He who killed Bakasura, he will now kill Kansa, the king of Mathura
ਭਾਗ ਬਡੇ ਇਹ ਕੇ ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਹਰਿ ਬੈਦ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਤਾ ਕੋ ॥੮੩੦॥
bhaag badde ih ke jih ko upachaar kariyo har baid hvai taa ko |830|
The fate of this jump-backed is appreciable, who was treated as a doctor by the Lord himself.830.
