ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਅਨਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਮ ॥

charan kamal saranaagatee anad mangal gun gaam |

In the Sanctuary of His lotus feet, I sing His Glorious Praises in ecstasy and bliss.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਰਾਧੀਐ ਬਿਪਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਰਣ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥

naanak prabh aaraadheeai bipat nivaaran raam |1|

O Nanak, worship God in adoration, the Eradicator of misfortune. ||1||
