ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਬਸੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੰਗ ॥

The God-conscious being dwells with God.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥

braham giaanee kai naam aadhaar |

The God-conscious being takes the Naam as his Support.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਵਾਰੁ ॥

braham giaanee kai naam paravaar |

The God-conscious being has the Naam as his Family.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਜਾਗਤ ॥

braham giaanee sadaa sad jaagat |

The God-conscious being is awake and aware, forever and ever.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਤਿਆਗਤ ॥

braham giaanee ahanbudh tiaagat |

The God-conscious being renounces his proud ego.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦ ॥

braham giaanee kai man paramaanand |

In the mind of the God-conscious being, there is supreme bliss.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ॥

braham giaanee kai ghar sadaa anand |

In the home of the God-conscious being, there is everlasting bliss.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥

braham giaanee sukh sehaj nivaas |

The God-conscious being dwells in peaceful ease.

ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਨਹੀ ਬਿਨਾਸ ॥੫॥

naanak braham giaanee kaa nahee binaas |5|

O Nanak, the God-conscious being shall never perish. ||5||
