ਕਬੀਰ ਹੰਸੁ ਉਡਿਓ ਤਨੁ ਗਾਡਿਓ ਸੋਝਾਈ ਸੈਨਾਹ ॥

kabeer hans uddio tan gaaddio sojhaaee sainaah |

Kabeer, the soul-swan is flying away, and the body is being buried, and still he makes gestures.

ਅਜਹੂ ਜੀਉ ਨ ਛੋਡਈ ਰੰਕਾਈ ਨੈਨਾਹ ॥੧੧੮॥

ajahoo jeeo na chhoddee rankaaee nainaah |118|

Even then, the mortal does not give up the cruel look in his eyes. ||118||
