Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਸੁਨੀਅਤ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ॥

santan kai suneeat prabh kee baat |

I listen to God's Teachings from the Saints.

ਕਥਾ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਆਨੰਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਧੁਨਿ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹੀ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਅਰੁ ਰਾਤਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

kathaa keeratan aanand mangal dhun poor rahee dinas ar raat |1| rahaau |

The Lord's Sermon, the Kirtan of His Praises and the songs of bliss perfectly resonate, day and night. ||1||Pause||

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕੀਨੇ ਨਾਮ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਨੀ ਦਾਤਿ ॥

kar kirapaa apane prabh keene naam apune kee keenee daat |

In His Mercy, God has made them His own, and blessed them with the gift of His Name.

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਇਸੁ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਤ ॥੧॥

aatth pehar gun gaavat prabh ke kaam krodh is tan te jaat |1|

Twenty-four hours a day, I sing the Glorious Praises of God. Sexual desire and anger have left this body. ||1||

ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਏ ਪੇਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਖਾਤ ॥

tripat aghaae pekh prabh darasan amrit har ras bhojan khaat |

I am satisfied and satiated, gazing upon the Blessed Vision of God's Darshan. I eat the Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord's sublime food.

ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੀ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਤ ॥੨॥੪॥੮੪॥

charan saran naanak prabh teree kar kirapaa santasang milaat |2|4|84|

Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of Your Feet, O God; in Your Mercy, unite him with the Society of the Saints. ||2||4||84||
