ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ik oankaar satigur prasaad |

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਣ ਲਾਗੇ ॥

gobind gun gaavan laage |

I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe.

ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਾਗੇ ॥

har rang anadin jaage |

I am awake, night and day, in the Lord's Love.

ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਜਾਗੇ ਪਾਪ ਭਾਗੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ॥

har rang jaage paap bhaage mile sant piaariaa |

Awake to the Lord's Love, my sins have left me. I meet with the Beloved Saints.

ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣ ਲਾਗੇ ਭਰਮ ਭਾਗੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਗਲ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥

gur charan laage bharam bhaage kaaj sagal savaariaa |

Attached to the Guru's Feet, my doubts are dispelled, and all my affairs are resolved.

ਸੁਣਿ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਹਜਿ ਜਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਵਡਭਾਗੈ ॥

sun sravan baanee sehaj jaanee har naam jap vaddabhaagai |

Listening to the Word of the Guru's Bani with my ears, I know celestial peace. By great good fortune, I meditate on the Lord's Name.

ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਗੈ ॥੧॥

binavant naanak saran suaamee jeeo pindd prabh aagai |1|

Prays Nanak, I have entered my Lord and Master's Sanctuary. I dedicate my body and soul to God. ||1||

ਅਨਹਤ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ॥

anahat sabad suhaavaa |

The unstruck melody of the Shabad, the Word of God is so very beautiful.

ਸਚੁ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਾ ॥

sach mangal har jas gaavaa |

True joy comes from singing the Lord's Praises.

ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਨਾਸੇ ਰਹਸੁ ਉਪਜੈ ਮਨਿ ਘਣਾ ॥

gun gaae har har dookh naase rehas upajai man ghanaa |

Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, pain is dispelled, and my mind is filled with tremendous joy.

ਮਨੁ ਤੰਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਭਣਾ ॥

man tan niramal dekh darasan naam prabh kaa mukh bhanaa |

My mind and body have become immaculate and pure, gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan; I chant the Name of God.

ਹੋਇ ਰੇਣ ਸਾਧੂ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਰਾਧੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਾ ॥

hoe ren saadhoo prabh araadhoo aapane prabh bhaavaa |

I am the dust of the feet of the Holy. Worshipping God in adoration, my God is pleased with me.

ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਇਆ ਧਾਰਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ॥੨॥

binavant naanak deaa dhaarahu sadaa har gun gaavaa |2|

Prays Nanak, please bless me with Your Mercy, that I may sing Your Glorious Praises forever. ||2||

ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤਰਿਆ ॥

gur mil saagar tariaa |

Meeting with the Guru, I cross over the world-ocean.

ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਜਪਤ ਨਿਸਤਰਿਆ ॥

har charan japat nisatariaa |

Meditating on the Lord's Feet, I am emancipated.

ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਧਿਆਏ ਸਭਿ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਮਿਟੇ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ॥

har charan dhiaae sabh fal paae mitte aavan jaanaa |

Meditating on the Lord's Feet, I have obtained the fruits of all rewards, and my comings and goings have ceased.

ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਾ ॥

bhaae bhagat subhaae har jap aapane prabh bhaavaa |

With loving devotional worship, I meditate intuitively on the Lord, and my God is pleased.

ਜਪਿ ਏਕੁ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ॥

jap ek alakh apaar pooran tis binaa nahee koee |

Meditate on the One, Unseen, Infinite, Perfect Lord; there is no other than Him.

ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਿ ਭਰਮੁ ਖੋਇਆ ਜਤ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਤ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥

binavant naanak gur bharam khoeaa jat dekhaa tat soee |3|

Prays Nanak, the Guru has erased my doubts; wherever I look, there I see Him. ||3||

ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ॥

patit paavan har naamaa |

The Lord's Name is the Purifier of sinners.

ਪੂਰਨ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਮਾ ॥

pooran sant janaa ke kaamaa |

It resolves the affairs of the humble Saints.

ਗੁਰੁ ਸੰਤੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਸਗਲ ਇਛਾ ਪੁੰਨੀਆ ॥

gur sant paaeaa prabh dhiaaeaa sagal ichhaa puneea |

I have found the Saintly Guru, meditating on God. All my desires have been fulfilled.

ਹਉ ਤਾਪ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਰਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲੇ ਚਿਰੀ ਵਿਛੁੰਨਿਆ ॥

hau taap binase sadaa sarase prabh mile chiree vichhuniaa |

The fever of egotism has been dispelled, and I am always happy. I have met God, from whom I was separated for so long.

ਮਨਿ ਸਾਤਿ ਆਈ ਵਜੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਮਨਹੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ ॥

man saat aaee vajee vadhaaee manahu kade na veesarai |

My mind has found peace and tranquility; congratulations are pouring in. I shall never forget Him from my mind.

ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਸਦਾ ਭਜੁ ਜਗਦੀਸਰੈ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥

binavant naanak satigur drirraaeaa sadaa bhaj jagadeesarai |4|1|3|

Prays Nanak, the True Guru has taught me this, to vibrate and meditate forever on the Lord of the Universe. ||4||1||3||
