Dakhanay, Fifth Mehl:

ਮੁਖਹੁ ਅਲਾਏ ਹਭ ਮਰਣੁ ਪਛਾਣੰਦੋ ਕੋਇ ॥

mukhahu alaae habh maran pachhaanando koe |

All speak with their mouths, but rare are those one who realize death.

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨਾ ਖਾਕੁ ਜਿਨਾ ਯਕੀਨਾ ਹਿਕ ਸਿਉ ॥੧॥

naanak tinaa khaak jinaa yakeenaa hik siau |1|

Nanak is the dust of the feet of those who have faith in the One Lord. ||1||
