Maajh, Fifth Mehl:

ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਨੁ ਭੀ ਤੇਰਾ ॥

man tan teraa dhan bhee teraa |

Mind and body are Yours; all wealth is Yours.

ਤੂੰ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥

toon tthaakur suaamee prabh meraa |

You are my God, my Lord and Master.

ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਜੋਰੁ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥

jeeo pindd sabh raas tumaaree teraa jor gopaalaa jeeo |1|

Body and soul and all riches are Yours. Yours is the Power, O Lord of the World. ||1||

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਤੂੰਹੈ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ॥

sadaa sadaa toonhai sukhadaaee |

Forever and ever, You are the Giver of Peace.

ਨਿਵਿ ਨਿਵਿ ਲਾਗਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਾਈ ॥

niv niv laagaa teree paaee |

I bow down and fall at Your Feet.

ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵਾ ਜੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਾ ਜਾ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥

kaar kamaavaa je tudh bhaavaa jaa toon dehi deaalaa jeeo |2|

I act as it pleases You, as You cause me to act, Kind and Compassionate Dear Lord. ||2||

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਲਹਣਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਗਹਣਾ ॥

prabh tum te lahanaa toon meraa gahanaa |

O God, from You I receive; You are my decoration.

ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਹਣਾ ॥

jo toon dehi soee sukh sahanaa |

Whatever You give me, brings me happiness.

ਜਿਥੈ ਰਖਹਿ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੁ ਤਿਥਾਈ ਤੂੰ ਸਭਨਾ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥

jithai rakheh baikuntth tithaaee toon sabhanaa ke pratipaalaa jeeo |3|

Wherever You keep me, is heaven. You are the Cherisher of all. ||3||

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

simar simar naanak sukh paaeaa |

Meditating, meditating in remembrance, Nanak has found peace.

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ॥

aatth pehar tere gun gaaeaa |

Twenty-four hours a day, I sing Your Glorious Praises.

ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਏ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਹੋਇ ਦੁਖਾਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੩੩॥੪੦॥

sagal manorath pooran hoe kade na hoe dukhaalaa jeeo |4|33|40|

All my hopes and desires are fulfilled; I shall never again suffer sorrow. ||4||33||40||
