ਬੰਦਿਸਾਲ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁਤ ਕੋ ਦਿਯੋ ਪਠਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

bandisaal nrip sut ko diyo patthaae kai |

ਭੋਰ ਹੋਤ ਪੁਨ ਲਿਯੋ ਸੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

bhor hot pun liyo su nikatt bulaae kai |

The Raja sent his son to the jail and in the morning called him back.

ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਕਥਾ ਉਚਾਰੀ ਆਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

ho badtayo bhoop ke bharam adhik jiy jaan kai |1|
