ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮ ਸੈਨਿ ਤਹਾ ਚਲਿ ਆਯੋ ॥

bikram sain tahaa chal aayo |

ਆਨ ਗੌਰਜਾ ਕੌ ਸਿਰ ਨ︀ਯਾਯੋ ॥

aan gauarajaa kau sir nayaayo |

Bikrim came there in the evening and paid his obeisance to the goddess Gory,

ਬਾਚਿ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਕੋ ਚਕਿ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥

baach doharaa ko chak rahiyo |

ਕੋ ਬਿਰਹੀ ਆਯੋ ਹ︀ਯਾਂ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥੩੭॥

ko birahee aayo hayaan kahiyo |37|

He read the couplet and inquired if there had come some love-sick person.(37)
