Gauree, Fifth Mehl:

ਥਾਤੀ ਪਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥

thaatee paaee har ko naam |

Those who obtain the wealth of the Lord's Name

ਬਿਚਰੁ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭਿ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥

bichar sansaar pooran sabh kaam |1|

move freely in the world; all their affairs are resolved. ||1||

ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਈਐ ॥

vaddabhaagee har keeratan gaaeeai |

By great good fortune, the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises are sung.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਤ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

paarabraham toon dehi ta paaeeai |1| rahaau |

O Supreme Lord God, as You give, so do I receive. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਿ ॥

har ke charan hiradai ur dhaar |

Enshrine the Lord's Feet within your heart.

ਭਵ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਚੜਿ ਉਤਰਹਿ ਪਾਰਿ ॥੨॥

bhav saagar charr utareh paar |2|

Get aboard this boat, and cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ||2||

ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥

saadhoo sang karahu sabh koe |

Everyone who joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy,

ਸਦਾ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੩॥

sadaa kaliaan fir dookh na hoe |3|

obtains eternal peace; pain does not afflict them any longer. ||3||

ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਜੁ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥

prem bhagat bhaj gunee nidhaan |

With loving devotional worship, meditate on the treasure of excellence.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੪॥੮੪॥੧੫੩॥

naanak daragah paaeeai maan |4|84|153|

O Nanak, you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord. ||4||84||153||
