ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਅਉਸਰੁ ਜਾਣਦੇ ।

guramukh duralabh deh aausar jaanade |

Gurmukhs know (very well) that human birth is a rare opportunity.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਅਸਨੇਹ ਸਭ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣਦੇ ।

saadhasangat asaneh sabh rang maanade |

That is why they cultivate love for holy congregation and enjoy all delights.

ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਲਿਵਲੇਹ ਆਖਿ ਵਖਾਣਦੇ ।

sabad surat livaleh aakh vakhaanade |

They speak after merging their consciousness in the Word.

ਦੇਹੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਬਿਦੇਹ ਸਚੁ ਸਿਞਾਣਦੇ ।

dehee vich bideh sach siyaanade |

They become bodiless while living in body and identify the truth.

ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਓਹੁ ਨ ਏਹੁ ਇਕੁ ਪਛਾਣਦੇ ।

dubidhaa ohu na ehu ik pachhaanade |

They do not have this or that dilemma and know only one Lord.

ਚਾਰਿ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਥੇਹੁ ਮਨ ਵਿਚਿ ਆਣਦੇ ।੧੧।

chaar dihaarre thehu man vich aanade |11|

They know in their heart of heart that within a short period this world is going to become a mound (of earth) and hence they do not develop any attachment with it.
