ਅਸੁਰਨ ਘੇਰ ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੀਨੋ ॥

ਤਬ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੋਪ ਘਨੋ ਮਨਿ ਕੀਨੋ ॥

tab nrip kop ghano man keeno |

dhanukh baan kar beech sanbhaare |

ਜਿਨ ਜੀਤੇ ਆਗੇ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਾ ॥

jin jeete aage sangraamaa |

There was a demon named Krurkaram, who had conquered many wars

ਸੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਗਯੋ ॥

so tab hee nrip saamuhe gayo |

ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਜੂਝ ਦੁਹੁਨ ਕੋ ਭਯੋ ॥੧੪੭੧॥

at hee joojh duhun ko bhayo |1471|
