ਲੈ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕਰ ਜੋ ਮਿਟੀਆ ਤਿਹ ਥਾਪ ਕਹੈ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਜੁ ਭਵਾਨੀ ॥

lai apune kar jo mitteea tih thaap kahai mukh te ju bhavaanee |

ਪਾਇ ਪਰੈ ਤਿਹ ਕੇ ਹਿਤ ਸੋ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮੁ ਕਹੈ ਇਹ ਬਾਨੀ ॥

paae parai tih ke hit so kar kott pranaam kahai ih baanee |

Taking clay in their hands and installing the image of the goddess and bowing their heads at her feet, all of them are saying,

ਪੂਜਤ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਤੇ ਹਮ ਤੋ ਤੁਮ ਦੇਹੁ ਵਹੈ ਜੀਅ ਮੈ ਹਮ ਠਾਨੀ ॥

poojat hai ih te ham to tum dehu vahai jeea mai ham tthaanee |

ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹਮਰੋ ਭਰਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਸਸਿ ਸਾਨੀ ॥੨੪੩॥

hvai hamaro bharataa har jee mukh sundar hai jih ko sas saanee |243|

“O goddess! we worship you for bestowing the boon according t our heart’s desire, so that our husband be of the moonlike face of Krishna.243.

ਭਾਲਿ ਲਗਾਵਤ ਕੇਸਰ ਅਛਤ ਚੰਦਨ ਲਾਵਤ ਹੈ ਸਿਤ ਕੈ ॥

bhaal lagaavat kesar achhat chandan laavat hai sit kai |

ਫੁਨਿ ਡਾਰਤ ਫੂਲ ਉਡਾਵਤ ਹੈ ਮਖੀਆ ਤਿਹ ਕੀ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਹਿਤ ਕੈ ॥

fun ddaarat fool uddaavat hai makheea tih kee at hee hit kai |

They apply saffron, akshat and sandal on the forehead of the god of love, then showering flowers, they fan him affectionately

ਪਟ ਧੂਪ ਪਚਾਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦਛਨਾ ਪਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਛਨਾ ਦੇਤ ਮਹਾ ਚਿਤ ਕੈ ॥

ਬਰਬੇ ਕਹੁ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਉਪਾਉ ਕਰੈ ਮਿਤ ਹੋ ਸੋਊ ਤਾਤ ਕਿਧੌ ਕਿਤ ਕੈ ॥੨੪੪॥

barabe kahu kaanrah upaau karai mit ho soaoo taat kidhau kit kai |244|

They are offering garments, incense, Panchamrit, religious gifts and circumambulation and they, making effort to wed Krishna, say that there may be some friend, who may fulfill the wish of our mind.244.
