ਖਾਨ ਪਠਾਨੀ ਆਪੁ ਮਹਿ ਲਰਿ ਮਰਿ ਭਏ ਪਰੇਤ ॥

khaan patthaanee aap meh lar mar bhe paret |

Khan and Pathani (the wife) both died to become ghosts.

ਨਾਸ ਦੁਹਨ ਕੋ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਯੋ ਵਾ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ॥੯॥

naas duhan ko hvai gayo vaa gulaam ke het |9|
