Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਕੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥

har jeeo ke darasan kau kurabaanee |

I am a sacrifice to the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of my Dear Lord.

ਬਚਨ ਨਾਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ੍ਰਵਨਹੁ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

bachan naad mere sravanahu poore dehaa pria ank samaanee |1| rahaau |

The Naad, the Sound-current of His Word fills my ears; my body has settled gently into the Lap of my Beloved. ||1||Pause||

ਛੂਟਰਿ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਈ ਸੋੁਹਾਗਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਓ ਸੁਘੜ ਸੁਜਾਨੀ ॥

chhoottar te gur keeee souhaagan har paaeo sugharr sujaanee |

I was a discarded bride, and the Guru has made me a happy soul-bride. I have found the Elegant and All-knowing Lord.

ਜਿਹ ਘਰ ਮਹਿ ਬੈਸਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਵਤ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਬਾਸਾਨੀ ॥੧॥

jih ghar meh baisan nahee paavat so thaan milio baasaanee |1|

That home, in which I was not even allowed to sit - I have found that place in which I can dwell. ||1||

ਉਨੑ ਕੈ ਬਸਿ ਆਇਓ ਭਗਤਿ ਬਛਲੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਾਖੀ ਆਨ ਸੰਤਾਨੀ ॥

auna kai bas aaeo bhagat bachhal jin raakhee aan santaanee |

God, the Love of His devotees, has come under the control of those who protect the honor of His Saints.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਸਭ ਚੂਕੀ ਕਾਣਿ ਲੋੁਕਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੮॥੩੧॥

kahu naanak har sang man maaniaa sabh chookee kaan loukaanee |2|8|31|

Says Nanak, my mid is pleased and appeased with the Lord, and my subservience to other people has come to an end. ||2||8||31||
