ਸਭ ਧਨਵੰਤ ਭਏ ਜਗ ਲੋਗਾ ॥

sabh dhanavant bhe jag logaa |

ਏਕ ਨ ਰਹਾ ਤਿਨੋ ਤਨ ਸੋਗਾ ॥

ek na rahaa tino tan sogaa |

The people of all the world grew wealthy and there remained no anxiety on their body and mind.

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਛਤ ਪਕਵਾਨਾ ॥

bhaat bhaat bhachhat pakavaanaa |

ਉਪਜਤ ਰੋਗ ਦੇਹ ਤਿਨ ਨਾਨਾ ॥੧॥

aupajat rog deh tin naanaa |1|

They began to eat various kinds of foods and consequentsly they suffered form various kinds of ailments.1.

ਰੋਗਾਕੁਲ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਭਏ ਲੋਗਾ ॥

rogaakul sabh hee bhe logaa |

ਉਪਜਾ ਅਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਕੋ ਸੋਗਾ ॥

aupajaa adhik prajaa ko sogaa |

All the people got worried about their ailments and the subjects became extremely distressed.

ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਕੀ ਕਰੀ ਬਡਾਈ ॥

param purakh kee karee baddaaee |

ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਤਿਨ ਪਰ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਈ ॥੨॥

kripaa karee tin par har raaee |2|

All of them snag the praises of the Immanent Lord and He become Gracious towards all.2.

ਬਿਸਨ ਚੰਦ ਕੋ ਕਹਾ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥

bisan chand ko kahaa bulaaee |

ਧਰ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਧਨੰਤਰ ਜਾਈ ॥

dhar avataar dhanantar jaaee |

Vishnu was called by the Supreme Lord and ordered to manifest himself in the form of Dhanwantar.

ਆਯੁਰਬੇਦ ਕੋ ਕਰੋ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸਾ ॥

aayurabed ko karo prakaasaa |

ਰੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਕੋ ਕਰਿਯਹੁ ਨਾਸਾ ॥੩॥

rog prajaa ko kariyahu naasaa |3|

He also told him to spread Ayurveda and destroy the ailments of the subjects.3.
