Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਚਰਨ ਭਏ ਸੰਤ ਬੋਹਿਥਾ ਤਰੇ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਜੇਤ ॥

charan bhe sant bohithaa tare saagar jet |

The feet of the Saints are the boat, to cross over the world-ocean.

ਮਾਰਗ ਪਾਏ ਉਦਿਆਨ ਮਹਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਦਸੇ ਭੇਤ ॥੧॥

maarag paae udiaan meh gur dase bhet |1|

In the wilderness, the Guru places them on the Path, and reveals the secrets of the Lord's Mystery. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹੇਤ ॥

har har har har har hare har har har het |

O Lord, Har Har Har, Har Har Haray, Har Har Har, I love You.

ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਸੋਵਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

While standing up, sitting down and sleeping, think of the Lord, Har Har Har. ||1||Pause||

ਪੰਚ ਚੋਰ ਆਗੈ ਭਗੇ ਜਬ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੇਤ ॥

panch chor aagai bhage jab saadhasanget |

The five thieves run away, when one joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਪੂੰਜੀ ਸਾਬਤੁ ਘਣੋ ਲਾਭੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਸੋਭਾ ਸੇਤ ॥੨॥

poonjee saabat ghano laabh grihi sobhaa set |2|

His investment is intact, and he earns great profits; his household is blessed with honor. ||2||

ਨਿਹਚਲ ਆਸਣੁ ਮਿਟੀ ਚਿੰਤ ਨਾਹੀ ਡੋਲੇਤ ॥

nihachal aasan mittee chint naahee ddolet |

His position is unmoving and eternal, his anxiety is ended, and he wavers no more.

ਭਰਮੁ ਭੁਲਾਵਾ ਮਿਟਿ ਗਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੇਖਤ ਨੇਤ ॥੩॥

bharam bhulaavaa mitt geaa prabh pekhat net |3|

His doubts and misgivings are dispelled, and he sees God everywhere. ||3||

ਗੁਣ ਗਭੀਰ ਗੁਨ ਨਾਇਕਾ ਗੁਣ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਕੇਤ ॥

gun gabheer gun naaeikaa gun kaheeeh ket |

The Virtues of our Virtuous Lord and Master are so profound; how many of His Glorious Virtues should I speak?

ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰੇਤ ॥੪॥੯॥੩੯॥

naanak paaeaa saadhasang har har amret |4|9|39|

Nanak has obtained the Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord, Har, Har, in the Company of the Holy. ||4||9||39||
