ਕਬੀਰ ਪਾਟਨ ਤੇ ਊਜਰੁ ਭਲਾ ਰਾਮ ਭਗਤ ਜਿਹ ਠਾਇ ॥

kabeer paattan te aoojar bhalaa raam bhagat jih tthaae |

Kabeer, the wilderness is better than a city, if the Lord's devotees live there.

ਰਾਮ ਸਨੇਹੀ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਜਮ ਪੁਰੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਂਇ ॥੧੫੧॥

raam sanehee baaharaa jam pur mere bhaane |151|

Without my Beloved Lord, it is like the City of Death for me. ||151||
