O Yoga-fire, Enlightener of the Earth! I salute Thee.
ਨਮੋ ਸੁੰਭ ਹੰਤੀ ਨਮੋ ਕਰੂਰ ਕਾਲੰ ॥
namo sunbh hantee namo karoor kaalan |
O the Destroyer of Sumbh and dreadful manifestation of Death!
ਨਮੋ ਸ੍ਰੋਣ ਬੀਰਜਾਰਦਨੀ ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਹੰਤੀ ॥
namo sron beerajaaradanee dhoomr hantee |
O the Destroyer of Dhumar Nain , O the Destroyer of Rakat Beej!

Thou art most wise, master of powers and doer of pure deeds.

Thou art most beautiful like and apsara (heavenly damsel), Padmini and the goddess Parbati.

Thou art the wearer of arms, most Glorious

Unconquerable for ever and conqueror of all, bearer of elegant shield

O the wielder of bow, sword, shield and mace,
ਗਦਾ ਪਾਣਿਣੀ ਚਕ੍ਰਣੀ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਾਣੰ ॥

The user of the disc, and of the honoured portrait, I salute Thee.

Thou art the breath-moving process and the early morning worship.
ਜਿਨੈ ਮੋਹ ਕੈ ਚਉਦਹੂੰ ਲੋਗ ਬੰਧਿਆ ॥

Who has bound all the fourteen realms in the web of maya.
ਨਮੋ ਅੰਜਨੀ ਗੰਜਨੀ ਸਰਬ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਾ ॥

Thou art Anjani (mother of Hanuman), the crusher of the pride of all,

Thou art the bestower of bliss by destroying the great sinners.

Thou art the remover of the anguish of saints by destroying the tyrants with Thy dreadful teeth.

Thou art the knower of Shastras, knower of the use of weapons

namo jachh bidiaa dharee pooran kaamee |23|242|
Perfect in knowledge of Yakshas, and the fulfiller of the desires! I salute Thee.23.242.
ਰਿਪੰ ਤਾਪਣੀ ਜਾਪਣੀ ਸਰਬ ਲੋਗਾ ॥

O the giver of suffering to the enemies, all the people worship Thee.

O the masterly power of Hanuman! Thou art the goddess of Nagarkot (Kangra)

Thou art the manifestation of Kama (love). Thou art Kamakhya, the goddess.

O Goddess! thou art four-armed, eight-armed,

mrirraalee kaparadee namo sree bhavaanee |26|245|
And the crusher of the dead, O Bhavani! I salute Thee.26.245.
ਨਮੋ ਦੇਵ ਅਰਦ੍ਰਯਾਰਦਨੀ ਦੁਸਟ ਹੰਤੀ ॥
namo dev aradrayaaradanee dusatt hantee |
O the destroyer of the enemies of the gods,
ਸਿਤਾ ਅਸਿਤਾ ਰਾਜ ਕ੍ਰਾਤੀ ਅਨੰਤੀ ॥
sitaa asitaa raaj kraatee anantee |
White-black and red-coloured.
ਜੁਆਲਾ ਜਯੰਤੀ ਅਲਾਸੀ ਅਨੰਦੀ ॥
juaalaa jayantee alaasee anandee |
O fire! the enchancer of bliss by conquering illusion.
ਨਮੋ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੀ ਹਰੀ ਸੀ ਮੁਕੰਦੀ ॥੨੭॥੨੪੬॥
namo paarabrahamee haree see mukandee |27|246|
Thou art the maya of Unmanifested Brahman and the Shakti of Shiva! I salute Thee.27.246.
ਜਯੰਤੀ ਨਮੋ ਮੰਗਲਾ ਕਾਲਕਾਯੰ ॥
jayantee namo mangalaa kaalakaayan |
Thou art the bestower of cheerfulness to all, the conqueror of all and the manifestation of Kal (death).
ਕਪਾਲੀ ਨਮੋ ਭਦ੍ਰਕਾਲੀ ਸਿਵਾਯੰ ॥
kapaalee namo bhadrakaalee sivaayan |
O Kapali! (the goddess carrying begging bowl), Shiva-Shakti! (the power of Shiva) and Bhadrakali!
ਦੁਗਾਯੰ ਛਿਮਾਯੰ ਨਮੋ ਧਾਤ੍ਰੀਏਯੰ ॥
dugaayan chhimaayan namo dhaatreeyan |
Thou obtainest satisfaction by piercing Durga.
ਸੁਆਹਾ ਸੁਧਾਯੰ ਨਮੋ ਸੀਤਲੇਯੰ ॥੨੮॥੨੪੭॥
suaahaa sudhaayan namo seetaleyan |28|247|
Thou art pure fire-manifestation and also cold-incarnate, I salute Thee.28.247.
ਨਮੋ ਚਰਬਣੀ ਸਰਬ ਧਰਮੰ ਧੁਜਾਯੰ ॥
namo charabanee sarab dharaman dhujaayan |
O the masticator of the demons, the manifestation of the banners of all religions
ਨਮੋ ਹਿੰਗੁਲਾ ਪਿੰਗੁਲਾ ਅੰਬਿਕਾਯੰ ॥
namo hingulaa pingulaa anbikaayan |
The source of the power of Hinglaj and Pinglaj, I salute Thee.
ਨਮੋ ਦੀਰਘ ਦਾੜਾ ਨਮੋ ਸਿਆਮ ਬਰਣੀ ॥
namo deeragh daarraa namo siaam baranee |
O the one of the dreadful teeth, the black complexioned,
ਨਮੋ ਅੰਜਨੀ ਗੰਜਨੀ ਦੈਤ ਦਰਣੀ ॥੨੯॥੨੪੮॥
namo anjanee ganjanee dait daranee |29|248|
Anjani, the masher of demons! Salute Thee. 29.248.
ਨਮੋ ਅਰਧ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਾਇਣੀ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਚੂੜੰ ॥

O the adopter of half-moon and wearer of the moon as an ornament
ਨਮੋ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਊਰਧਾ ਨਮੋ ਦਾੜ ਗੂੜੰ ॥
namo indr aooradhaa namo daarr goorran |
Thou hast the power of clouds and hast dreadful jaws.
ਸਸੰ ਸੇਖਰੀ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਾਲਾ ਭਵਾਨੀ ॥
sasan sekharee chandrabhaalaa bhavaanee |
Thy forehead is like the moon, O Bhavani!
ਭਵੀ ਭੈਹਰੀ ਭੂਤਰਾਟੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨੀ ॥੩੦॥੨੪੯॥
bhavee bhaiharee bhootaraattee kripaanee |30|249|
Thou art also Bhairavi and Bhutani, Thou art the wielder of the sword, I salute Thee.30.249.
ਕਲੀ ਕਾਰਣੀ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਮਛ੍ਰਯਾ ॥
kalee kaaranee karam karataa kamachhrayaa |
O Kamakhya and Durga! Thou art the cause and deed of Kaliyuga (the iron age).
ਪਰੀ ਪਦਮਿਨੀ ਪੂਰਣੀ ਸਰਬ ਇਛ︀ਯਾ ॥
paree padaminee pooranee sarab ichhayaa |
Like Apsara (heavenly damsels) and the Padmini women, Thou art the fulfiller of all desires.
ਜਯਾ ਜੋਗਣੀ ਜਗ ਕਰਤਾ ਜਯੰਤੀ ॥
jayaa joganee jag karataa jayantee |
Thou art the conqueror Yogini of all and performer of Yajnas (sacrifices).
ਸੁਭਾ ਸੁਆਮਣੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਜਾ ਸਤ੍ਰੂਹੰਤੀ ॥੩੧॥੨੫੦॥
subhaa suaamanee srisattajaa satraoohantee |31|250|
Thou art the nature of all substances, Thou art the creator of the world and the destroyer of the enemies.31.250.
ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੀ ਪੁਨੀਤਾ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਪਰੇਯੰ ॥
pavitree puneetaa puraanee pareyan |
Thou art pure, holy, ancient, great
ਪ੍ਰਭੀ ਪੂਰਣੀ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੀ ਅਜੈਯੰ ॥
prabhee pooranee paarabrahamee ajaiyan |
Perfect, maya and unconquerable.
ਅਰੂਪੰ ਅਨੂਪੰ ਅਨਾਮੰ ਅਠਾਮੰ ॥
aroopan anoopan anaaman atthaaman |
Thou art formless, unique, nameless and abodeless.
ਅਭੀਅੰ ਅਜੀਤੰ ਮਹਾ ਧਰਮ ਧਾਮੰ ॥੩੨॥੨੫੧॥
abheean ajeetan mahaa dharam dhaaman |32|251|
Thou art fearless, unconquerable and treasure of the great Dharma.32.251.
ਅਛੇਦੰ ਅਭੇਦੰ ਅਕਰਮੰ ਸੁ ਧਰਮੰ ॥
achhedan abhedan akaraman su dharaman |
Thou art indestructible, indistinguishable, deedless and Dhrma-incarnate.
ਨਮੋ ਬਾਣ ਪਾਣੀ ਧਰੇ ਚਰਮ ਬਰਮੰ ॥
namo baan paanee dhare charam baraman |
O the holder of the arrow in Thy hand and wearer of the armour, I salute Thee.
ਅਜੇਯੰ ਅਭੇਯੰ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਨਿਤ੍ਰਯੰ ॥
ajeyan abheyan nirankaar nitrayan |
Thou art unconquerable, indistinguishable, formless, eternal
ਨਿਰੂਪੰ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੰ ਨਮਿਤ੍ਰਯੰ ਅਕ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰਯੰ ॥੩੩॥੨੫੨॥

ਗੁਰੀ ਗਉਰਜਾ ਕਾਮਗਾਮੀ ਗੁਪਾਲੀ ॥
guree gaurajaa kaamagaamee gupaalee |
Thou art Parbati, fulfiller of the wishes, the power of Krishna
ਬਲੀ ਬੀਰਣੀ ਬਾਵਨਾ ਜਗ੍ਰਯਾ ਜੁਆਲੀ ॥
balee beeranee baavanaa jagrayaa juaalee |
Most powerful, the power of Vamana and art like the fire of the Yajna (sacrifice).
ਨਮੋ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਚਰਬਾਇਣੀ ਗਰਬ ਹਰਣੀ ॥
namo satru charabaaeinee garab haranee |
O the chewer of the enemies and masher of their pride
ਨਮੋ ਤੋਖਣੀ ਸੋਖਣੀ ਸਰਬ ਭਰਣੀ ॥੩੪॥੨੫੩॥
namo tokhanee sokhanee sarab bharanee |34|253|
Sustainer and destroyer in Thy pleasure, I salute Thee.34.253.
ਪਿਲੰਗੀ ਪਵੰਗੀ ਨਮੋ ਚਰਚਿਤੰਗੀ ॥
pilangee pavangee namo charachitangee |
O the rider of the steed-like lion
ਨਮੋ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਭੂਤ ਹੰਤਾ ਭੜਿੰਗੀ ॥
namo bhaavanee bhoot hantaa bharringee |
O Bhavani of beautiful limbs! Thou art the destroyer of all engaged in the war.
ਨਮੋ ਭੀਮਿ ਸਰੂਪਾ ਨਮੋ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਤਾ ॥
namo bheem saroopaa namo lok maataa |
O the mother of the universe having large body!
ਭਵੀ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਭਵਿਖ੍ਰਯਾਤ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥੩੫॥੨੫੪॥
bhavee bhaavanee bhavikhrayaat bidhaataa |35|254|
Thou art the power of Yama, the giver of the fruit of actions performed in the world, Thou art also the power of Brahma! I salute Thee.35.254.
ਪ੍ਰਭੀ ਪੂਰਣੀ ਪਰਮ ਰੂਪੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
prabhee pooranee param roopan pavitree |
O the most pure power of God!
ਪਰੀ ਪੋਖਣੀ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੀ ਗਇਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
paree pokhanee paarabrahamee geitree |
Thou art the maya and Gayatri, sustaining all.
ਜਟੀ ਜੁਆਲ ਪਰਚੰਡ ਮੁੰਡੀ ਚਮੁੰਡੀ ॥
jattee juaal parachandd munddee chamunddee |
Thou art Chamunda, the wearer of the necklace of head, Thou art also the fire of the matted locks of Shiva
ਬਰੰਦਾਇਣੀ ਦੁਸਟ ਖੰਡੀ ਅਖੰਡੀ ॥੩੬॥੨੫੫॥
barandaaeinee dusatt khanddee akhanddee |36|255|
Thou art the donor of boons and destroyer of tyrants, but Thou Thyself ever remain indivisible.36.255.
ਸਬੈ ਸੰਤ ਉਬਾਰੀ ਬਰੰ ਬ੍ਰਯੂਹ ਦਾਤਾ ॥
sabai sant ubaaree baran brayooh daataa |
O the Saviour of all the saints and the donor of boons to all
ਨਮੋ ਤਾਰਣੀ ਕਾਰਣੀ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਤਾ ॥
namo taaranee kaaranee lok maataa |
The one who ferries across all over the terrible sea of life, the primary cause of all causes, O Bhavani! The mother of the universe.
ਨਮਸਤ︀ਯੰ ਨਮਸਤ︀ਯੰ ਨਮਸਤ︀ਯੰ ਭਵਾਨੀ ॥
namasatayan namasatayan namasatayan bhavaanee |
I salute Thee again and again, O the manifestation of the sword!
ਸਦਾ ਰਾਖ ਲੈ ਮੁਹਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨੀ ॥੩੭॥੨੫੬॥
sadaa raakh lai muhi kripaa kai kripaanee |37|256|
