ਰਥ ਅਨੇਕ ਸੰਗ ਲੀਏ ਸੁਭਟ ਬਹੁ ਬਾਜਤ ਸਜਤ ॥

rath anek sang lee subhatt bahu baajat sajat |

ਦਸ ਹਜਾਰ ਗਜ ਮਤ ਚਲੇ ਘਨੀਅਰ ਜਿਮ ਗਜਤ ॥

das hajaar gaj mat chale ghaneear jim gajat |

Ten thousand of elephants moved thundering like clouds

ਮਿਲਿ ਘੇਰਿ ਲੀਓ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਤਿਨੋ ਸੁ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਜਸੁ ਲਖਿ ਲੀਯੋ ॥

mil gher leeo tin kau tino su kab sayaam jas lakh leeyo |

They collectively besieged Krishna and his army

ਰਿਤੁ ਪਾਵਸ ਮੈ ਘਨ ਘਟਾ ਜਿਉ ਘੋਰ ਮਨੋ ਨਰ ਬੋਲੀਓ ॥੧੩੭੨॥
