Fifth Mehl:

ਪਿਰੀਆ ਸੰਦੜੀ ਭੁਖ ਮੂ ਲਾਵਣ ਥੀ ਵਿਥਰਾ ॥

pireea sandarree bhukh moo laavan thee vitharaa |

If my Beloved becomes hungry, I will become food, and place myself before Him.

ਜਾਣੁ ਮਿਠਾਈ ਇਖ ਬੇਈ ਪੀੜੇ ਨਾ ਹੁਟੈ ॥੨॥

jaan mitthaaee ikh beee peerre naa huttai |2|

I may be crushed, again and again, but like sugarcane, I do not stop yielding sweet juice. ||2||
