ਬਨਿ ਭੀਹਾਵਲੈ ਹਿਕੁ ਸਾਥੀ ਲਧਮੁ ਦੁਖ ਹਰਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ॥

ban bheehaavalai hik saathee ladham dukh harataa har naamaa |

In the dreadful wilderness, I have found the one and only companion; the Name of the Lord is the Destroyer of distress.

ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮਾਂ ॥੨॥

bal bal jaaee sant piaare naanak pooran kaamaan |2|

I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Beloved Saints, O Nanak; through them, my affairs have been brought to fulfillment. ||2||
