ਰਾਨੀ ਹਿਤ ਹਿਦਵਾਨ ਕੇ ਮਨੁਖ ਬੁਰਾਯੋ ਏਕ ॥

raanee hit hidavaan ke manukh buraayo ek |

Rani had assigned one person in connection with (saving) the melon, (Who interceded,)

ਯਹ ਅਪਜਸ ਨ ਕਬਹੁ ਮਿਟੈ ਭਾਖਹਿ ਲੋਗ ਅਨੇਕ ॥੧੧॥

yeh apajas na kabahu mittai bhaakheh log anek |11|

‘Every body was expressing if it happens as such (that man is killed), then, this blot will ever be remembered.’(11)
