ਬਲੀ ਈਸ ਦਸ ਸੀਸ ਕੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਕਹਾਵਤ ਬੰਧੁ ॥

ਏਕ ਬਾਨ ਰਘੁਨਾਥ ਕੇ ਕੀਯੋ ਕਬੰਧ ਕਬੰਧ ॥੨੪੧॥
ek baan raghunaath ke keeyo kabandh kabandh |241|
Raghunath (Ram) chopped into bits with his single Baan and also made the relatives of the mighty Dasgreev Ravana as headless Trunks.241.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਭਾਖਿ ਸੁਗ੍ਰੀਵ ਪਦ ਬੰਧੁਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
pritham bhaakh sugreev pad bandhur bahur bakhaan |
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਜਾਨੀਅਹੁ ਬੁਧਿ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥੨੪੨॥
sakal naam sree baan ke jaaneeahu budh nidhaan |242|
Saying the word Sugriv in the beginning, then adding the word “Bandh”, the wise people know all the names of Baan.242.
ਅੰਗਦ ਪਿਤੁ ਕਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਪਦ ਅੰਤ ਸਬਦ ਅਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥

ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੨੪੩॥

Saying “Angad-Pitr” (Bali) in the beginning and then adding the word “Ari”, all the names of Baan are comprehended .243.
ਹਨੂਮਾਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਈਸ ਅਨੁਜ ਅਰਿ ਭਾਖੁ ॥

ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਖੁ ॥੨੪੪॥

Uttering the names of Hanuman and adding the words “Ish, Anuj and Ari”, all the names of Baan are understood in the mind.244.
ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਬਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈ ਉਚਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਅਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥

ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਜਾਨ ਅਨੇਕਨਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੨੪੫॥
sakal naam sree baan ke jaan anekan lehu |245|
Uttering firstly the word “Shastar” and then adding the word “Ari” at the end, all the names of Baan are known.245.
ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਬਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈ ਉਚਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਅਰਿ ਸਬਦ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
asatr sabad prithamai uchar ant ar sabad bakhaan |
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੨੪੬॥
sakal naam sree baan ke leejahu chatur pachhaan |246|
The word “Astar” is said in the beginning and the word “Ari” at the end, in this way all the names of Baan are comprehended.246.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਚਰਮ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਸਭ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤ ॥
pritham charam ke naam lai sabh ar pad keh ant |
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸਤ੍ਰਾਤ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਸਤ ਚਲਹਿ ਬਿਅੰਤ ॥੨੪੭॥
sakal naam satraat ke nikasat chaleh biant |247|
Saying all the names of “Charam” and adding the word “Ari” at the end, innumerable names of the enemy-destroying Baan continue to be evolved.247.
ਤਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਾਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਭ ਉਚਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਅਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥
tan traan ke naam sabh uchar ant ar dehu |
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਤਾ ਸਿਉ ਕੀਜੈ ਨੇਹੁ ॥੨੪੮॥
sakal naam sree baan ke taa siau keejai nehu |248|
Adding the word “Ari” at the end of tan-tran (armour), all the names of Baan are formed, for which we should exhibit affection.248.
ਸਕਲ ਧਨੁਖ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕਹਿ ਅਰਦਨ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥
sakal dhanukh ke naam keh aradan bahur uchaar |
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰ ॥੨੪੯॥

Saying all the names of Dhanush (bow), and then uttering the word “Ardan”, all the names of Baan are known.249.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਪਨਚ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਕ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਕਰੀਅਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਬਖਿਆਨ ॥੨੫੦॥

Saying the names of Panach (Pratyacha) and then adding the word “Antak”, all the names of Baan are described.250.
ਸਰ ਪਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰ ਬਖਾਨ ॥

Saying the word “Shar” in the beginning and then adding the word “Ari”, all the names of Baan are known mind.251.
ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਪਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਹਾ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
mrig pad pritham bakhaan kai haa pad bahur bakhaan |
ਮ੍ਰਿਗਹਾ ਪਦ ਯਹ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੨੫੨॥
mrigahaa pad yeh hot hai leejahu chatur pachhaan |252|
Saying the word “Mrig” in the beginning and then adding the word “Ha”, the word “Mrig-ha is formed, which connotes the Baan, which is the destroyer of the deer, which is recognized in the mind by the wise persons.252.
