ਤੂ ਕਰਤਾ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ॥

too karataa sabh kichh jaanadaa sabh jeea tumaare |

You, O Creator, know all things; all beings belong to You.

ਜਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਮੇਲਿ ਲੈਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਜੰਤ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ॥

jis too bhaavai tis too mel laihi kiaa jant vichaare |

Those who are pleasing to You, You unite with Yourself; what can the poor creatures do?

ਤੂ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਹੈ ਸਚੁ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੇ ॥

too karan kaaran samarath hai sach sirajanahaare |

You are all-powerful, the Cause of causes, the True Creator Lord.

ਜਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਮੇਲਹਿ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਸੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥

jis too meleh piaariaa so tudh milai guramukh veechaare |

Only those unite with you, Beloved Lord, whom you approve and who meditate on Guru's Word.

ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਰੇ ॥੮॥

hau balihaaree satigur aapane jin meraa har alakh lakhaare |8|

I am a sacrifice to my True Guru, who has allowed me to see my unseen Lord. ||8||
