Maaroo, Fifth Mehl:

ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥

patit udhaaran taaran bal bal bale bal jaaeeai |

The Redeemer of sinners, who carries us across; I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice to Him.

ਐਸਾ ਕੋਈ ਭੇਟੈ ਸੰਤੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥੧॥

aisaa koee bhettai sant jit har hare har dhiaaeeai |1|

If only I could meet with such a Saint, who would inspire me to meditate on the Lord, Har, Har, Har. ||1||

ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਜਾਨਤ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਦਾਸੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ॥

mo kau koe na jaanat kaheeat daas tumaaraa |

No one knows me; I am called Your slave.

ਏਹਾ ਓਟ ਆਧਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ehaa ott aadhaaraa |1| rahaau |

This is my support and sustenance. ||1||Pause||

ਸਰਬ ਧਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰਨ ਇਕ ਬਿਨਉ ਦੀਨਾ ॥

sarab dhaaran pratipaaran ik binau deenaa |

You support and cherish all; I am meek and humble - this is my only prayer.

ਤੁਮਰੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਤੁਮ ਜਲ ਹਮ ਮੀਨਾ ॥੨॥

tumaree bidh tum hee jaanahu tum jal ham meenaa |2|

You alone know Your Way; You are the water, and I am the fish. ||2||

ਪੂਰਨ ਬਿਸਥੀਰਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਹਿ ਆਇਓ ਪਾਛੈ ॥

pooran bisatheeran suaamee aaeh aaeo paachhai |

O Perfect and Expansive Lord and Master, I follow You in love.

ਸਗਲੋ ਭੂ ਮੰਡਲ ਖੰਡਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਆਛੈ ॥੩॥

sagalo bhoo manddal khanddal prabh tum hee aachhai |3|

O God, You are pervading all the worlds, solar systems and galaxies. ||3||

ਅਟਲ ਅਖਇਓ ਦੇਵਾ ਮੋਹਨ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥

attal akheo devaa mohan alakh apaaraa |

You are eternal and unchanging, imperishable, invisible and infinite, O divine fascinating Lord.

ਦਾਨੁ ਪਾਵਉ ਸੰਤਾ ਸੰਗੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰੇਨੁ ਦਾਸਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੬॥੨੨॥

daan paavau santaa sang naanak ren daasaaraa |4|6|22|

Please bless Nanak with the gift of the Society of the Saints, and the dust of the feet of Your slaves. ||4||6||22||
