ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Bhairao, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਦਰਬਾਰੁ ॥

sabh te aooch jaa kaa darabaar |

His Regal Court is the highest of all.

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਜੋਹਾਰੁ ॥

sadaa sadaa taa kau johaar |

I humbly bow to Him, forever and ever.

ਊਚੇ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਥਾਨ ॥

aooche te aoochaa jaa kaa thaan |

His place is the highest of the high.

ਕੋਟਿ ਅਘਾ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥੧॥

kott aghaa mitteh har naam |1|

Millions of sins are erased by the Name of the Lord. ||1||

ਤਿਸੁ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥

tis saranaaee sadaa sukh hoe |

In His Sanctuary, we find eternal peace.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਮੇਲੈ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

kar kirapaa jaa kau melai soe |1| rahaau |

He Mercifully unites us with Himself. ||1||Pause||

ਜਾ ਕੇ ਕਰਤਬ ਲਖੇ ਨ ਜਾਹਿ ॥

jaa ke karatab lakhe na jaeh |

His wondrous actions cannot even be described.

ਜਾ ਕਾ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ਸਭ ਘਟ ਮਾਹਿ ॥

jaa kaa bharavaasaa sabh ghatt maeh |

All hearts rest their faith and hope in Him.

ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਭਇਆ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ॥

pragatt bheaa saadhoo kai sang |

He is manifest in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਭਗਤ ਅਰਾਧਹਿ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰੰਗਿ ॥੨॥

bhagat araadheh anadin rang |2|

The devotees lovingly worship and adore Him night and day. ||2||

ਦੇਦੇ ਤੋਟਿ ਨਹੀ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥

dede tott nahee bhanddaar |

He gives, but His treasures are never exhausted.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਨਹਾਰ ॥

khin meh thaap uthaapanahaar |

In an instant, He establishes and disestablishes.

ਜਾ ਕਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਮੇਟੈ ਕੋਇ ॥

jaa kaa hukam na mettai koe |

No one can erase the Hukam of His Command.

ਸਿਰਿ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹਾ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥੩॥

sir paatisaahaa saachaa soe |3|

The True Lord is above the heads of kings. ||3||

ਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਤਿਸੈ ਕੀ ਆਸਾ ॥

jis kee ott tisai kee aasaa |

He is my Anchor and Support; I place my hopes in Him.

ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਹਮਰਾ ਤਿਸ ਹੀ ਪਾਸਾ ॥

dukh sukh hamaraa tis hee paasaa |

I place my pain and pleasure before Him.

ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਨੋ ਸਭੁ ਜਨ ਕਾ ਪੜਦਾ ॥

raakh leeno sabh jan kaa parradaa |

He covers the faults of His humble servant.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ॥੪॥੧੯॥੩੨॥

naanak tis kee usatat karadaa |4|19|32|

Nanak sings His Praises. ||4||19||32||
