Speech of Parasnath DHANASARI BY THY GRACE

ਕੈ ਤੁਮ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਪਰਚੌ ਦਿਖਾਓ ॥

kai tum ham ko parachau dikhaao |

ਨਾਤਰ ਜਿਤੇ ਤੁਮ ਹੋ ਜਟਧਾਰੀ ਸਬਹੀ ਜਟਾ ਮੁੰਡਾਓ ॥

naatar jite tum ho jattadhaaree sabahee jattaa munddaao |

Either all of you may give me cognizance of your yoga or shave off your matted locks

ਜੋਗੀ ਜੋਗੁ ਜਟਨ ਕੇ ਭੀਤਰ ਜੇ ਕਰ ਕਛੂਅਕ ਹੋਈ ॥

jogee jog jattan ke bheetar je kar kachhooak hoee |

ਤਉ ਹਰਿ ਧ︀ਯਾਨ ਛੋਰਿ ਦਰ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਭੀਖ ਨ ਮਾਗੈ ਕੋਈ ॥

tau har dhayaan chhor dar dar te bheekh na maagai koee |

O Yogis! if there had been some secret of Yoga in the matted locks, then any Yogi would not have gone for begging at different doors instead of absorbing in meditation on the Lord

ਜੇ ਕਰ ਮਹਾ ਤਤ ਕਹੁ ਚੀਨੈ ਪਰਮ ਤਤ ਕਹੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥

je kar mahaa tat kahu cheenai param tat kahu paavai |

If anyone recognizes the essence, he achieves unity with the Supreme Essence

ਤਬ ਯਹ ਮੋਨ ਸਾਧਿ ਮਨਿ ਬੈਠੇ ਅਨਤ ਨ ਖੋਜਨ ਧਾਵੈ ॥

tab yeh mon saadh man baitthe anat na khojan dhaavai |

He sits at one place silently and does not go in search of Him at any other place

ਜਾ ਕੀ ਰੂਪ ਰੇਖ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨੀਐ ਸਦਾ ਅਦ੍ਵੈਖ ਕਹਾਯੋ ॥

jaa kee roop rekh nahee jaaneeai sadaa advaikh kahaayo |

He, who is without any form or figure and who is non-dual and garbles,

ਜਉਨ ਅਭੇਖ ਰੇਖ ਨਹੀ ਸੋ ਕਹੁ ਭੇਖ ਬਿਖੈ ਕਿਉ ਆਯੋ ॥੯੫॥

jaun abhekh rekh nahee so kahu bhekh bikhai kiau aayo |95|

How can then he be comprehended through the medium of any garb?21.95.

ਬਿਸਨਪਦ ॥ ਸਾਰੰਗ ॥ ਤ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

SARANG BY THY GRACE

ਜੇ ਜੇ ਤਿਨ ਮੈ ਹੁਤੇ ਸਯਾਨੇ ॥

je je tin mai hute sayaane |

They accepted Parasnath the knower of the Supreme Essence

ਪਾਰਸ ਪਰਮ ਤਤ ਕੇ ਬੇਤਾ ਮਹਾ ਪਰਮ ਕਰ ਮਾਨੇ ॥

paaras param tat ke betaa mahaa param kar maane |

Those who were very wise amongst those hermits with matted locks,

ਸਬਹਨਿ ਸੀਸ ਨ︀ਯਾਇ ਕਰਿ ਜੋਰੇ ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਖਾਨੇ ॥

sabahan sees nayaae kar jore ih bidh sang bakhaane |

All of them bowed their heads and folded their hands

ਜੋ ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਹਾ ਸੋ ਕੀਨਾ ਅਉਰ ਹਮ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਨੇ ॥

jo jo guroo kahaa so keenaa aaur ham kachhoo na jaane |

They said, “Whatever you said to us as our Guru, we shall do the same

ਸੁਨਹੋ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਨ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਤੁਮ ਬਚਨ ਬਖਾਨੇ ॥

sunaho mahaaraaj raajan ke jo tum bachan bakhaane |

ਸੋ ਹਮ ਦਤ ਬਕਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਨ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਚ ਹੀਐ ਅਨੁਮਾਨੇ ॥

so ham dat bakatr te sun kar saach heeai anumaane |

O Sir! Whatever you have said, the same thing we heard from the sage Dutt and have perceived the Truth

ਜਾਨੁਕ ਪਰਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਤੇ ਨਿਕਸੇ ਮਹਾ ਰਸਨ ਰਸ ਸਾਨੇ ॥

jaanuk param amrit te nikase mahaa rasan ras saane |

ਜੋ ਜੋ ਬਚਨ ਭਏ ਇਹ ਮੁਖਿ ਤੇ ਸੋ ਸੋ ਸਬ ਹਮ ਮਾਨੇ ॥੯੬॥

jo jo bachan bhe ih mukh te so so sab ham maane |96|

You have uttered these words from your tongue like the sweet ambrosia and whatever you have uttered from your mouth, we accept, all of them.22.96.
