ਗੋਦ ਦਯੋ ਜਸੁਧਾ ਤਬ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਸੁ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੈ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਉਨਿ ਲੀਨੋ ॥

god dayo jasudhaa tab taa ke su ant samai tab hee un leeno |

Then Yashoda put Krishna in her lap and in this way Putana called her own end

ਭਾਗ ਬਡੇ ਦੁਰ ਬੁਧਨਿ ਕੇ ਭਗਵਾਨਹਿ ਕੌ ਜਿਨਿ ਅਸਥਨ ਦੀਨੋ ॥

bhaag badde dur budhan ke bhagavaaneh kau jin asathan deeno |

That woman of vicious intellect had been very fortunate because she made the Lord to drink milk from her teats

ਛੀਰ ਰਕਤ੍ਰ ਸੁ ਤਾਹੀ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸੁ ਐਚ ਲਏ ਮੁਖ ਮੋ ਇਹ ਕੀਨੋ ॥

chheer rakatr su taahee ke praan su aich le mukh mo ih keeno |

ਜਿਉ ਗਗੜੀ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਤਨ ਲਾਇ ਕੈ ਤੇਲ ਲਏ ਤੁਚ ਛਾਡ ਕੈ ਪੀਨੋ ॥੮੭॥

jiau gagarree tumaree tan laae kai tel le tuch chhaadd kai peeno |87|

Krishna sucked her blood (instead of milk) with his mouth alongwith his life-force like the pressing and filtering the oil from the colocynth.87.
