ਵਡੀ ਹੂ ਵਡਾ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਰਤਬਾ ॥

vaddee hoo vaddaa apaar teraa maratabaa |

The greatest of the great, infinite is Your dignity.

ਰੰਗ ਪਰੰਗ ਅਨੇਕ ਨ ਜਾਪਨੑਿ ਕਰਤਬਾ ॥

rang parang anek na jaapana karatabaa |

Your colors and hues are so numerous; no one can know Your actions.

ਜੀਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਾਣਲਾ ॥

jeea andar jeeo sabh kichh jaanalaa |

You are the Soul within all souls; You alone know everything.

ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੇਰੈ ਵਸਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਘਰੁ ਭਲਾ ॥

sabh kichh terai vas teraa ghar bhalaa |

Everything is under Your control; Your home is beautiful.

ਤੇਰੈ ਘਰਿ ਆਨੰਦੁ ਵਧਾਈ ਤੁਧੁ ਘਰਿ ॥

terai ghar aanand vadhaaee tudh ghar |

Your home is filled with bliss, which resonates and resounds throughout Your home.

ਮਾਣੁ ਮਹਤਾ ਤੇਜੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪਿ ਜਰਿ ॥

maan mahataa tej aapanaa aap jar |

Your honor, majesty and glory are Yours alone.

ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਭਰਪੂਰੁ ਦਿਸੈ ਜਤ ਕਤਾ ॥

sarab kalaa bharapoor disai jat kataa |

You are overflowing with all powers; wherever we look, there You are.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸਨਿ ਦਾਸੁ ਤੁਧੁ ਆਗੈ ਬਿਨਵਤਾ ॥੧੮॥

naanak daasan daas tudh aagai binavataa |18|

Nanak, the slave of Your slaves, prays to You alone. ||18||
