ਕਨਿਕ ਮਾਣਿਕ ਗਜ ਮੋਤੀਅਨ ਲਾਲਨ ਨਹ ਨਾਹ ਨਹੀ ॥੧॥

kanik maanik gaj moteean laalan neh naah nahee |1|

Gold, jewels, giant pearls and rubies - I have no need for them. ||1||

ਰਾਜ ਨ ਭਾਗ ਨ ਹੁਕਮ ਨ ਸਾਦਨ ॥ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨ ਚਾਹੀ ॥੨॥

raaj na bhaag na hukam na saadan | kichh kichh na chaahee |2|

Imperial power, fortunes, royal command and mansions - I have no desire for these. ||2||

ਚਰਨਨ ਸਰਨਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਬੰਦਨ ॥ ਸੁਖੋ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਹੀ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਪਤਿ ਹਰੀ ॥ ਮਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਰੀ ॥੩॥੩॥੧੪੩॥

charanan saranan santan bandan | sukho sukh paahee | naanak tapat haree | mile prem piree |3|3|143|

The Sanctuary of the Lord's Feet, and dedication to the Saints these bring me peace and pleasure. O Nanak, my burning fire has been put out, obtaining the Love of the Beloved. ||3||3||143||
