ਮਾ ਬੰਦਾਇ ਇਸ਼ਕੇਮ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਰਾ ਨਾ-ਸ਼ਨਾਸੇਮ ।

maa bandaae ishakem khudaa raa naashanaasem |

Consider that he has adopted the mode or the method of meditation. (239)

ਦੁਸ਼ਨਾਮ ਨ ਦਾਨੇਮ ਦੁਆ ਰਾ ਨਾ-ਸ਼ਨਾਸੇਮ ।੫੮।੧।

dushanaam na daanem duaa raa naashanaasem |58|1|

This earth and the skies are saturated with (the creations of ) God,

ਆਸ਼ੁਫ਼ਤਾਇ ਆਨੇਮ ਕਿ ਆਸ਼ੁਫ਼ਤਾਇ ਮਾ ਹਸਤ ।

aashafataae aanem ki aashafataae maa hasat |

But this world keeps wandering and straying in all directions to find out as to where He is. (240)

ਮਾ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨ ਦਾਨੇਮ ਓ ਗਦਾ ਰਾ ਨਾ-ਸ਼ਨਾਸੇਮ ।੫੮।੨।

maa shaah na daanem o gadaa raa naashanaasem |58|2|

If you can aim your eyes fixedly on a glimpse of Akaalpurakh,

ਚੂੰ ਗੈਰਿ ਤੂ ਕਸ ਨੀਸਤ ਬਤਹਿਕੀਕ ਦਰੀਣਜ਼ਾ ।

choon gair too kas neesat batahikeek dareenazaa |

Then, whatever you see will be a vision of the Almighty Waaheguru. (241)

ਈਣ ਤੱਫ਼ਰਕਾਇ ਮਾ ਓ ਸ਼ੁਮਾ ਰਾ ਨਾ-ਸ਼ਨਾਸੇਮ ।੫੮।੩।

een tafarakaae maa o shumaa raa naashanaasem |58|3|

Anyone who has seen that noble soul, consider that he has got a glimpse of the Omnipotent;

ਸਰ ਪਾ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਪਾ ਸਰ ਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਦਰ ਰਾਹਿ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ।

sar paa shud paa sar shudaa dar raeh muhabat |

And, that person has perceived and realized the path of meditation. (242)

ਗੋਇਮ ਵ ਲੇਕਨ ਸਰੋ ਪਾ ਰਾ ਨ-ਸ਼ਨਾਸੇਮ ।੫੮।੪।

goeim v lekan saro paa raa nashanaasem |58|4|

The focus on devotion for God brings in with it an unusual complexion of disposition,

ਮਾ ਨੀਜ਼ ਚੂ ਗੋਯਾ ਜ਼ਿ ਅਜ਼ਲ ਮਸਤ ਈਸਤਮ ।

maa neez choo goyaa zi azal masat eesatam |

The splendor and radiance of Akaalpurakh then oozes out from each and every aspect of such a dedicated devotion. (243)

ਈਣ ਕਾਇਦਾਇ ਜ਼ੁਹਦੋ ਰਿਆ ਰਾ ਨਾ-ਸ਼ਨਾਸੇਮ ।੫੮।੫।

een kaaeidaae zuhado riaa raa naashanaasem |58|5|

He is the Master of all this illusion (of materialism), this is His own form;
