ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਪੈ ਜਿਤਨੀ ਫੁਨਿ ਊਧਵ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਤ ਬਖਾਨੀ ॥

gvaaran pai jitanee fun aoodhav sayaam kahai har baat bakhaanee |

Udhava talked to the gopis all the things about Krishna

ਗ︀ਯਾਨ ਕੋ ਉਤਰ ਦੇਤ ਭਈ ਨਹਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਚਿਤਾਰ ਸਭੇ ਉਚਰਾਨੀ ॥

gayaan ko utar det bhee neh prem chitaar sabhe ucharaanee |

They did not say anything in respone to his words of wisdom and only uttered their language of love:

ਜਾਹੀ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਤ ਸਖੀ ਜਿਹ ਕੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਪੀਤ ਨ ਪਾਨੀ ॥

jaahee ke dekhat bhojan khaat sakhee jih ke bin peet na paanee |

ਗ︀ਯਾਨ ਕੀ ਜੋ ਇਨ ਬਾਤ ਕਹੀ ਤਿਨ ਹੂੰ ਹਿਤ ਸੋ ਕਰਿ ਏਕ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੯੨੮॥

gayaan kee jo in baat kahee tin hoon hit so kar ek na jaanee |928|

Krishna, seeing whom, they used to take their meals and did not even drink water without him, whatever Udhava said to them about him in his wisdom, the gopis did not accept anything.928.
