ਜਿਨੑੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਕਿਆ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਹਿ ਹੋਰਿ ॥

jinaee naam visaariaa kiaa jap jaapeh hor |

Those who forget the Naam, the Name of the Lord - so what if they chant other chants?

ਬਿਸਟਾ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਕੀਟ ਸੇ ਮੁਠੇ ਧੰਧੈ ਚੋਰਿ ॥

bisattaa andar keett se mutthe dhandhai chor |

They are maggots in manure, plundered by the thief of worldly entanglements.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ ਝੂਠੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਹੋਰਿ ॥੨॥

naanak naam na veesarai jhootthe laalach hor |2|

O Nanak, never forget the Naam; greed for anything else is false. ||2||
