Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:

ਤੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਤਰੰਗੁ ਹਮ ਮੀਨ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ॥

too meraa tarang ham meen tumaare |

You are my waves, and I am Your fish.

ਤੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਹਮ ਤੇਰੈ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥੧॥

too meraa tthaakur ham terai duaare |1|

You are my Lord and Master; I wait at Your Door. ||1||

ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹਉ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਤੇਰਾ ॥

toon meraa karataa hau sevak teraa |

You are my Creator, and I am Your servant.

ਸਰਣਿ ਗਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗੁਨੀ ਗਹੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

saran gahee prabh gunee gaheraa |1| rahaau |

I have taken to Your Sanctuary, O God, most profound and excellent. ||1||Pause||

ਤੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਤੂ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥

too meraa jeevan too aadhaar |

You are my life, You are my Support.

ਤੁਝਹਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਬਿਗਸੈ ਕਉਲਾਰੁ ॥੨॥

tujheh pekh bigasai kaulaar |2|

Beholding You, my heart-lotus blossoms forth. ||2||

ਤੂ ਮੇਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਤੂ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥

too meree gat pat too paravaan |

You are my salvation and honor; You make me acceptable.

ਤੂ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਮੈ ਤੇਰਾ ਤਾਣੁ ॥੩॥

too samarath mai teraa taan |3|

You are All-powerful, You are my strength. ||3||

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਪਉ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਣਤਾਸਿ ॥

anadin jpau naam gunataas |

Night and day, I chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the treasure of excellence.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਹਿ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥੪॥੨੩॥੭੪॥
