ਯੌ ਜਬ ਬੈਨ ਸੁਨੇ ਅਰਿ ਕੇ ਤਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਘੁਬੀਰ ਬਲੀ ਬਲਕਾਨੇ ॥

yau jab bain sune ar ke tab sree raghubeer balee balakaane |

Hearing these words of the enemy (Parashuram), Ram looked like a mighty hero.

ਸਾਤ ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਨ ਲੌ ਗਰਵੇ ਗਿਰ ਭੂਮਿ ਅਕਾਸ ਦੋਊ ਥਹਰਾਨੇ ॥

saat samundran lau garave gir bhoom akaas doaoo thaharaane |

Visualising the serene posture of Ram, exhibiting the serenity of seven seas, the mountains, Sky and the whole world trembled.

ਜਛ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਦਿਸਾ ਬਿਦਿਸਾਨ ਕੇ ਦਾਨਵ ਦੇਵ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਡਰ ਮਾਨੇ ॥

jachh bhujang disaa bidisaan ke daanav dev duhoon ddar maane |

The Yakshas, Nagas, gods gods demons of all the four directions were frightened.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਘੁਨਾਥ ਕਮਾਨ ਲੇ ਹਾਥ ਕਹੋ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਕਿਹ ਪੈ ਸਰ ਤਾਨੇ ॥੧੪੯॥
